We had our Grandson with us and the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating! The food was wonderful and the waitress even washed off the baby’s silverware and bib. Very enjoyable evening, would definitely recommend to all.
Akira is a nice sushi and hibachi restaurant in the Rt 561 Voorhees Acme strip mall. Restaurant is in 3 sections, hibachi to the left, Sushi bar, tables and big screen TV showing hockey game and a 3rd section to the right. Thursday evening around 730 place was about half full. Ordered the 20 piece Sashimi regular ($25), came with very tasty miso soup and small salad. Sashimi plate was arranged with two servings of fish shaped into a flower bud and looked very appetizing. The ambiance is 10/10. The restaurant is soooo relaxing. I went solo. But its a great date night place. Service was wonderful and the food came out fast. They don't serve alcoholic beverages but you can BYOB which is even better. Food is fresh and delicious. I had the spicy Tuna roll and hibachi chicken entree. Delicious.
