Hadn’t been here in ten years. Always liked it before. Today for lunch disappointed. Went at 2 and was not crowded on Labor Day. Walked in employees everywhere and nobody seating us. We almost walked out and should have. Finally seated. Sat at table for almost 8 mins with nobody coming to take drink order. Almost left again. Finally a waitress comes. Light beer was not too cold. Took a nice ride today to go antiquing and since we were near Long Valley, we went to LVPB. Been there several times in years past and always left satisfied. Today was different. I ordered a virgin drink and they charged me the same as a regular drink with liquor. We forgot to check the bill before we paid, but I did call about it later and they said the price should have been adjusted manually. Well, it wasn't, so we are out $6.00. Let's start with the good: Place is really nice and the special beer we had was great Not so good; we ordered the prime rib special and we were give a rib eye. They said it was a grilled prime rib but the texture taste and appearance said other wise. My husband has a had time chewing certain cuts of meat but a prime rib is not one of them. He couldn't even finish half his steak. Though the flavor was good it just wasn't what we ordered. So buyer beware.
