“The food at this place is out of control. The mussels in wine sauce - I drank the broth. The red sauce mussels I used the sauce to make an eggplant parm the next day - insane. The Cesar salad with shrimp or salmon - delish! I have also had the Alfredo pizza and it was one of the best pizzas I have had. The penne vodka I served at brunch with friends and it was a hit! The cacio e Pepe, I tried not to eat on one sitting and failed. The shrimp scampi pasta - my best friend ordered and I could not help but “assist” her in eating it. I’m a real foodie and am super picky so when I found Trevi, I have to try not to order from there all week. Just amazing!! And the people that work there are super nice.“

“My experience tonight has reclaimed my love for Nola pizza. I’ve never questioned how amazing the pizza was, it was more when they first opened the wait was outrageously long and often was not ready after the two and a half hour wait. It was because of that I haven’t been back until tonight. Expecting the wait would still be long for a Sunday, called around 5:30 and given a pickup time of 6:45, significantly improved! My order was JUST taken out of the oven when I walked in at 6:45 and to no surprise, the pizza was divine. Got the Diavolo with vodka instead of spicy and it was just perfection. I can’t wait to be back, just need to be mindful of when I want to eat and when to order.“

The second time we visited this place was because the Mexican restaurant next to it had a one hour wait. I'm not waiting one hour and we need that the food here was good. My wife ordered a Italian Stromboli and I had pasta and octopus. They were both exceptionally tasty, and always come out piping hot. In addition, everyone gets a really delicious bread basket with different types of Italian breads, garlic, bruschetta and baked bread. The owner is always cordial and you can see him mingling around talking to people.If you are in town I would recommend this place. They are fully accessible, and will move tables around for you if you need them to be moved. The bathrooms are also accessible and there are some accessible parking spots available on the street, or in the parking deck behind the courtyard restaurant area. They can also accommodate vegetarians.When you arrive there’s a few spots in the front, 2 handicapped spots, and a few regular spots with remaining parking in the back around the side of building.This restaurant has been around for at least 45 years. It’s has been a staple in the Berkeley Ht’s area.For starters some of us chose their Tomato, Cucumber, and Feta Salad. The rest chose their House Salad with shaved Parmesan on it. Both salads were very good. Hot Rolls with Butter were also put on the table.For my Entree I chose their Rigatoni and Chicken Alla Serafino-Sundried tomato, broccoli, mushrooms, peas. It had a light flavor and subtle components.One of my friends chose their Chicken Valdostana- it was served with mushrooms, prosciutto & Asiago cheese. My friend ate every morsel.Another friend chose for her Entree Chicken Marsala-mushrooms and Marsala wine, she enjoyed it.Another friend chose for her Entree Seafood Marinara-shrimp, scallops, mussels, clams, and calamari. Again, everyone enjoyed their meal. The food is good here. We found for the area the food was pricey. Their chicken Francese was $29. The Seafood Marinara was $39. The other thing I found interesting was there was a charge to serve our own birthday cake. $2 per person.We decided to let the birthday girl take it home and enjoy it with her family. We just ordered desserts we picked off their tray. They were delicious , but for the price they were small portions which ranged between $11-$13 apiece. That’s definitely pricey for dessert.They do catering and parties here. I’ve had their pizza, and it’s decent too. I called Cioffi's and got Jerry the owner, who helped make my friend's birthday extra special by honoring my request for a heart-shaped pizza to be delivered to his house on his birthday. Jerry was in on it from the moment I explained what I wanted, as excited and joyful about the surprise as I hoped our friend would be! The two main guys have been staples of the business since it opened. I've been ordering their ziti pie since the 90s. They always greet me as if I was family. I like that as I live out in Hunterdon county for the past 20+ years and don't get their as often as I used too, but they always seem to remember me once we make eye contact. “I wanted to try a new place for pizza, Benny's had pretty good reviews and I decided to try them. I placed my order for delivery not realizing there was a $5.99 delivery fee which didn't show up until I got the order confirmation. I don't know if the delivery fee was from the establishment or the delivery company Grabull.The Grabull website says " their service is absolutely free, all you pay for is the food & whatever fee's are mentioned for delivery or processing and taxes" I did not see any mention of a delivery fee on Benny's website. Also is the delivery fee a guaranteed tip for the delivery person? If it is that person got a big tip because I added on a tip at checkout.As far as the pizza goes, it was just okay, it certainly was not worth $37.23! It's too bad since Pharmaceutical Reps pays for our lunches we order food several times a week for delivery. We can't go over $17.00 per person delivery fee's cut into that $17.00“
