“Took my visiting sister there on a Tuesday evening. She was taken aback by the level of service that made us feel like VIPs! After getting a great window seat, my Sis jokingly said, "How romantic, too bad I'm here with my brother". Our gorgeous server Michelle was spectacular. She made multiple trips to the bar to find 'just the right wine' for my sister's particular taste and made two special requests to the kitchen on our behalf. Michelle's calming presence and 'in the moment' attitude made us feel very special. Being an intellectual herself, Michelle engaged with us most excellently in conversation. I've had a few nice meals before at the Chart House, but this by far was the best experience ever thanks to Michelle.”

There are a variety of menus, including nutritious grain balls, handmade soup, meat-flavored filly cheese steaks and hamburgers, so it's good to enjoy a meal outdoors while looking at the New York view like me, and I highly recommend buying a lunch box and tasting it like a picnic at nearby Hamilton Park!
Personally, I liked the grain balls the best. It's a clean grilled quinoa, salmon, chicken, and various vegetables, so it's perfect to eat without any burden!

“We were travelling for 2 months and really craved a burger. We read the recommendations for this restaurant and it was walking distance from our accommodation. O.M.Gosh!!! The burgers were amazing!!! The service was fantastic. All the waiter's were so lovely.
We loved it so much, we went back again a few days later.

Emily a lovely young lady was behind the counter and she presented herself so well in the face of an irate middle aged lady who instead of trying to compromise on the absence of the gluten free bread immediately jumped down Emily's throat. I have to admit I felt like I was back in NYC and oddly enough I felt like I was home again. But I want my new environment to feel more at peace and even though that was not the case with this client and how she reacted to something that could have been easily resolved; I observed how effortlessly Emily took control and handled the situation while maintaining her respect. Thanks to the Gotan staff because I love your cappuccino's, your great big smiles and those adorable uniforms.”
