“The food was very good. Sloppy joes are absolutely phenomenal. Ruben was amazing. Subs were completely on par. The rye used for the sloppy joes and Reubens was soft and flavorful and not overbearing. The sub rolls were quite soft which made for a pleasant surprise. Personally I don't like rolls that are too hard or crusty that obliterate the roof of your mouth. The bread here is exceptional.Owners were so pleasant and thoughtful. Catered to my many requests because I wanted to try a little bit of everything. They make mini sandwiches here as well so it makes it easy to sample a lot. Despite living in the area for longer than the 42 years that this shop has existed in its current location, this was my first time visiting.I would strongly recommend this place. The epic sandwich board has a ton of options, each one sounds better than the next. The Turkey BLT and Cranberry Walnut chicken sandwiches were both great. It's not what I would call a romantic cozy spot, but that's not what I'm looking for in a sandwich deli. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying more. I can only imagine how popular they could be in a more prominent location.“
“I was casually walking down rainbow road when Mario, Donkey Kong and Shy guy grabbed me and brought me to this Subway. A guy whose name I think was maneater told me I had to eat 100 cookies or else Donkey Kong would turn me into a banana. I said ok and began this grueling challenge. I started chowing down on the cookies and when I reached the halfway point Machoman told me that the rest of the cookies would be footlong cookies, I said "radical" and continued. I was enjoying the last two cookies when all of a sudden Rick Grimes and superman walked in and blew up Donkey Kong, Mario and Shy guy and told me the walkers were coming and I had to leave. I said goodbye to Magic Mixing Machine and he said that wherever I go I could just reach into my pocket and pull out a free footlong cookie.10/10 would recommend, if you survive the walkers roaming around.“

“My first time getting food here and it was rockin! I found them on grub hub. I'm always looking for a good chicken cutlet sandwich, and they deliver here ( had a #10). They don't skimp on the sandwich, use fresh ingredients, and the bread was soft and delicious. The fries were also top tier. I'll definitely be back, found my new spot for sandwiches. Only thing I would prob change was to use balsamic glaze instead of vinaigrette, but the sandwich was so good I didn't care.“

The meat, veggies, and cheese were very good and tasted incredible fresh. However, I would love to see them explore different bread options for their sandwiches. If they decide to explore different bread option Hero King would definitely get more business from me. “Fresh food from the bread to the meats and vegetables. Nicely made sandwiches that aren't sloppy. Needs to put more condiments, oil, vinegar and oregano on sandwiches to make them taste more like a sub. Make sure you ask them for those things if you prefer them.“

“Been going here since I was a kid when it used to be a Blimpie. The inside of the store looks exactly the same as it did 30 years ago when my dad used to bring me here and the quality and cleanliness has remained the same. I've spoken with the owner a few times and he said he still uses the "Blimpie" bread and the same condiments. Also, the sandwiches are made as quickly as you finish saying what you ordered! I stop by here once in a while and I am never disappointed with my order. The roast beef with yellow American is still my go-to after all these years!“

“If you want old school Italian, this is the place for you. My family heard about the Belmont Tavern and decided to drive 40 minutes to check this place out. We arrived early on a Friday night, around 5:45PM. It is in a little bit of a rough area and finding parking on the street can be a challenge. The interior does not look like it's changed since it opened. Red and white checkered table cloths, wood paneled walls, and even a phone booth that lights up when you shut the door! All of the customers are all locals. The Tavern is known for their Shrimp Beeps and Chicken Savoy. My recommendation is the Shrimp Beeps over spaghetti. If you order more than one serving, it is served family style. Some of my family members ordered the Chicken Murphy and Chicken Savoy which are more like chicken parts rather than chicken breast. They both thought it was on the dry side. The service is good although we did feel a bit rushed since it was getting busy.“
