We ordered the avocado smoothie and Vietnamese frappe which were both good, but the best was the Vietnamese pastry with chicken. “Coming here for years. Some food items have gone down in quality, namely the pork chop and mac and cheese. Pork chop used to be really cooked to perfection and moist, however lately it has been dried out and overcooked. Mac and cheese lost the amount of cheese it usually has on it, and noodles were undercooked the previous two times. Must have changed the cooks in kitchen, who knows.”

The bruschetta was perfect, the beef was done to perfection and the gnocchi with shrimp was excellent. Service was attentive but not rushed and the room was quiet and well-appointed. Don't be put off by the outside appearance. Once inside, you'll get a great meal.”

“Tacowala is a really great option for large events. Amish was incredibly welcoming and helpful in helping us choose how much and what to order for my guests. We fed 40+ people with the tacowala catering event, it was all correct and greatly organized. I would recommend this to anyone hosting a large party as a great option for vegetarian mexican inspired indian tacos!”

“I'm a big fan of Joe's Pizza. I've had their pizza on a few occasions and have never been disappointed. The staff is very friendly and the service is always quick. The plain pizza and the penne vodka pizza are two of my favorites. The penne vodka pizza is fully loaded with excellent vodka sauce, a crisp base, and crunchy-crisp crust. The plain is fantastic and features a salty, buttery cheese and an amazing sauce. Joe's is definitely one of my go-to's in the Flemington area.”
