“I highly recommend Goldelicious Cakes for custom cakes and cupcakes. Not only is Jennifer so skilled at baking, she is also thoughtful, friendly, and super easy to communicate with. For my son’s first birthday, she helped create the most memorable orange cake with coordinating cupcakes. Pick-up was easy breezy and the packaging was great and kept the baked goods perfectly in place for the hour drive back home. Jennifer’s creations were such a hit with our friends and family. The blueberry compote filled vanilla cake was scrumptious. I wish I ordered a larger size! The cupcakes had an elegant touch and were incredibly tasty too. “This place is amazing! It's always clean, nice, and neat. They offer delicious options for desserts and grab-and-go meals. I love that they have a simple yet fulfilling menu. The atmosphere is super chill and totally worth it. My family and I love to grab a few pastries to take home, and now it has become our go-to gift store. Whenever we have an event or an office meeting, we travel all the way from New City to Englewood without hesitation.The only details that sometimes disappoints us is that at the end of the day, the staff's attitude or vibe is not as nice as in the mornings. We totally understand that it's the end of the day and they want to go home, but it would be great if they could maintain their friendly attitude throughout the day., and that it only opens at 8 am, so work commute to grab a coffee becomes hard. However, around 90% of our experiences there have been nice, and we look forward to visiting again soon“

“Went and got a few different baked goods. Flan and Chocolate chip cookie was absolutely DELICIOUS, the flan was sweet and smooth and the chocolate chip was soft and not too sweet. Caramel apple cupcake was super cute and tasty. Haven't had the chocolate cupcake yet but it looks absolutely lovely. Only thing was the pistachio macaron was okay, might have just been a bad batch. Overall very tasty and glad I gave it a stop!“

I ordered the banana pudding ( wish it had more cookies but it was good) and I also had the Oreo cup cake ( this was a 10/10 the best cupcake I ever had lol) + the strawberry crunch cupcake ( it was delicious) fresh & tasteful! “***4 1/2 stars**I'm not sure how crazy I am about this place being a few blocks from where I live, but I suppose that's not Mo & Jay's fault. I've been aware of this bakery/pastry establishment for a few years (I think it showed up in this relatively new apartment building on Main Street two or three years ago), but hadn't actually thought to go inside until yesterday morning. I was entrusted with obtaining a dessert for a weekend BBQ, and it occurred to me that this was at least the easiest spot to quickly grab something. The fact that the desserts were extremely good ended up being a pleasant accident/bonus.I brought one of my top tier chums to assist with the purchase. From very brief research, it seemed like the eclairs were the big selling point here. I thought it would also be a little wily on my part to get them because I tend to not enjoy eating food that has stuff in it, and figured I'd be unlikely to do anything too naughty with that. That turned out not to be accurate, but I digress. We got the five for $25 éclair deal, and procured a raspberry, a lemon meringue, a nutella, a pistachio and a cookies & cream. Just as we were about to wrap up, I also impulsively grabbed a cheddar/bacon scone, which was humongous and understandably caught my eye.The eclairs were definitely a hit. My personal favorite was the cookies & cream. The flavor was incredibly on point, and it was almost like a meta ice cream experience. The only issue with that one specifically was that the cream inside was runnier than the other pastries, which made it a little messy. Not a huge deal. The runner-up was probably the raspberry for me. Again, extremely flavorful, almost to a fault - it was overwhelmingly tart, which is obviously kind of a calling card for raspberries but if you're not into that, I'd stay away. The nutella was actually a little on the bland side for me but not bad. The lemon meringue was a big hit for everyone else, but I'm not a huge fan of that flavor to begin with - I don't think that's a mark against this place by any means. In hindsight, we probably wouldn't have gotten the pistachio, but none of us are hardcore pistachio fans. The cream consistency and dough for all of these was very high quality, and understandably a lot of this is going to come down to how you feel about specific flavors.In a final twist later on, I sampled the scone around dinner time and was very pleasantly surprised - the scone was very moist and tasty, and was reminiscent of a Red Lobster cheddar bay biscuit, though probably at least twice the size and with actual pieces of bacon in it. Very strong recommend on that front.The service was very good. We had a pleasant female cashier assisting us as my chum was literally squatting on the ground eagerly peering into the display case squealing out flavors to get. Zero issues there, and we were in and out within a few minutes uneventfully. There were also a lot of cakes and other types of pastries, so I expect I'll be returning shortly to obtain their assistance with another BBQ.“

Slow churned treats include several dairy and non dairy flavors (on a rotating basis), with just enough flavors to keep your taste buds wanting more. Never have we been disappointed. They went above and beyond by adding flowers to the cake, just beautifully decorated. So delicious, too. “Ordered a gorgeous 2 tiered cake for my daughters 3rd birthday (Under the THREE themed) and Bella vida did not disappoint! Not only was the cake aesthetically appealing, but it was delicious! Very light and moist, the cannoli filling was to die for, and the dulce de leche filling was fantastic! Extremely flavorful and the details were intricate and you can tell there is a real passion for baking! EVERYONE was raving about the cake and asking where I got it from. Simply delicious!! “Vegan baked goods??!! Let's give it a try. Dulce de leche - not too sweet at all, a good nutty flavor. Buttercream is not sweet and the cupcake itself is very moist Oreo - a bit dry on the outside, the buttercream has mashed up oreos in it, which doesn't make it creamy but with a crunchier texture. There isn't much of a chocolate taste. My least favorite Dark chocolate - the cupcake itself is on the dry side and less chocolate taste. The buttercream is smooth and a rich dark chocolate. Carrot cake - very moist and soft. You can see shaved pieces of carrots. I think it needs a pinch more of cinnamon. The cream cheese buttercream on top is on a sweeter side but really creamy. I didn't like the carrot decorations bc it's too much food coloring in it. Overall, I'm a fan of vegan cupcakes as it's not on the sweet side. There is a balanced ration of buttercream to cupcake. The chocolate cupcakes needs to be baked a bit less and need more chocolate taste.“
“Don't miss this jewel box of a bakeshop for celebrations both big and small! We ordered a lemon raspberry cake for a family celebration and it was such a big hit. Tall, elegant, and sprinkled with freeze-dried raspberries to hint at the flavor inside. It looked like the top tier of a wedding cake! Everyone was so impressed with it visually but once we tasted it, we all loved how moist and lemony it was. The guests were all raving about how balanced the buttercream was. The texture and sweetness was just right. The guest of honor even swiped some extra frosting off someone else's plate, which I've NEVER seen him do!In this day and age, everyone wants a cake that photographs beautifully. But sometimes a gorgeous cake will be too dry/dense or the frosting just tastes like colored butter. You never want a second piece. It really can be a lottery sometimes. But with this gorgeous, delectable cake we definitely hit the jackpot!Thank you, Carrie, for putting as much thought into the flavor as you did on the presentation. “Lovely Bakery Cafe with a classic, relaxed ambience and old world charm. Came late afternoon on Presidents Day and there were lots of customers but also plentiful seats available. The croissant lived up to its reputation! It was large, crumbly and flaky on the outside and very affordably priced. Cashier was very friendly too! She offered to heat up our croissant and brought it out to us on a plate. This place is definitely worth a visit!“

“I have nut allergies and am so so happy to have Baked Cravings!! The grab and go cake was perfect!! I waited too long to place a custom order and needed something that day. I added the option of birthday candles and then bought some strawberries to decorate it a bit. The flavor was rich but not too sweet. I think I actually prefer the taste of the cake not being completely iced and decorated!! It was a big hit with the party too. $60 for the cake and was able to get about 16 slices/servings from it.
