I have a difficult schedule and have been missing the open hours at Fat City for a very long time. I arrive today after closing hours, but flagged down the employees who are closing the store. I asked if there was any chance I could get some of their Biscochito Bars, and they made an exception for me! Really friendly and warm owners and even more terrific pastries. Got the Superberry danish, lemon danish, bourbon croissant, cheese and jalapeño croissant, Mexican chocolate croissant, and citrus coconut coffee cake. I hoovered all of them. My only regret is not having more room in my belly for round two!This place is a gem, tucked away in a strip mall, in a neighborhood. Don't sleep on this one. Amazing.

Holy moly! I just brought home one of their peanut butter rice crispy bars with chocolate on top from the Humble Coffee street fair and it may literally be one of my favorite deserts I've eaten! I haven't had anything quite like it ... Sort of like a peanut butter fudge but crunchy ? I'm sad I can't remember what the name of it is but hats off to a delicious treat!
