“When I'm coming from the state line into Gallup, I love stopping here and grabbing donuts and coffee. All the treats they have are really good, fresh and made in their shop. The owner is very sociable and nice and so is the staff. Thanks Westend, I'll keep recommending people your way! Travisps. You have to try the cherry frosted donut, so good.“
“Glad I looked at the other reviews or might not have known about Sandra’s. This place is awesome! Super friendly staff, reasonable prices, and yummy food! Local customers were very friendly too. We’ll be back! (Wish they had brewed decaf, but the instant wasn’t bad for what it was.)Vegetarian options: There were several vegetarian options. If vegetarian, I would check to be sure that vegetarian items are not cooked next to meat items or in non vegetarian fat.Parking: Easy parking in the lot in front of the restaurant.“
“At Angela’s Cafe, everyone is treated like a local. The staff here are genuine, friendly and attentive. Sitting at the counter gave us the opportunity to really admire the decorations and read all the hilarious signs.Notable eats: The tuna salad salad. It was recommended to have it with the Greek salad which is a winner. We modified the roast beef sandwich by adding bacon, swiss and New Mexico style green chile on ciabatta. M o u t h watering, softest ciabatta out there.Angela’s Cafe. Karen approved.“
“My family and I were going thru Gallup on a road trip out West. We planned to reside at the El Rancho during a night's stay. It is perhaps one of the best hotels we have stayed at on any family trip we've taken. Not only is it a Route 66 Landmark, but the facility's decor is reminiscent of the old Hollywood west (1940's-1960's) and it's this presentation to patrons that makes it unique and comfortable. The staff were immensely helpful, friendly and just plain phenomenal. The restaurant produced absolutely delicious food. The room was quaint, quiet, and screamed of the old Hollywood west. We genuinely loved this experience from top to bottom and we would make every effort to stay there again in the future. If you're in or near Gallup, make time to stay here!“
“Loved everything about this diner, cute, great service, but the food is the star. Had the stuffed Sopapilla which was so flavoursome and well cooked. Wife had the pancakes which were, a) huge and b) light, fluffy and delicious. A definite gem as you exit Gallup.“
“As far as we are concerned, the food and service are 5 star!! If that isn't enough, they have a huge salt water aquarium filled with beautiful soft coral and stunning fish and eels! Truly a unique place. We will hit this place again on our way back through on I 25.“
“Stopped in this place while on my quest to find the best green chili smothered burrito in the southwest, while road tripping to spring training in Arizona. This place is so rad. It’s a retro narrow diner in old downtown Gallup. The neon lights are cool. Food was exactly what I wanted, green chili New Mexican food. Loved it! Will be back next year!“
