“Dang, I'm going to miss Yaya's Food Truck breakfast burritos. You could just about put anything you wanted into them. Never too greasy -- even chorizo. Enough to fill you up. Great Mexican food! As of October 2022, there has been a for sale sign on the pink food truck across from U-Haul -- and I heard due to the land being sold for development. Capitalism is still the best economic system... Yaya was always very kind. Wishing her and her family nothing but the best!“
“good customer service food always comes out there heavy in weight and hot steaming fresh fresh ingredients imma have to bring all my friends and family here cause there taste buds is missing out Yall Gotta try to yourself don't take my word for it lol“
“Huge hat tip to MaMa E's for the Domestic Violence Awareness fundraiser they participated in today (October 6, 2023) at Option, Inc. in Hobbs, NM!While my chicken fried steak was just a little bit overcooked and hard to slice into with the provided plastic knife, it was still Southern-style delicious with the cream gravy, mashed potatoes, a fresh roll, green beans with real bacon bits, and a huge brownie on the side with a bottled water ($15).The owner was such a friendly, generous person. She was outside her food truck - not trailer - during this lunchtime event talking to folks waiting in line. Her employees/helpers were very amicable too.I've always heard great things about this food truck, but never had the opportunity to visit it. So glad I did.MaMa E's was established in 2018. Their motto is "where you can taste love in the grub." That's for sure!Their setup was for a large group in downtown Hobbs, so many tickets were pre-sold, but their food truck was nice and clean inside and out - I snooped! Lol. I would definitely return to an event where MaMa E was catering. Thanks, ma'am!“
“Ordered the New Mexican grilled cheese and the signature cold brew both of these were 10/10 My only complaint is that it took a long time to get the grilled cheese. I overheard one of the girls saying "you forgot her sandwich". Both girls behind the counter were very slow to make orders. Before you knew it there were 3-4 people still waiting on orders. They really had no sense of urgency.“
“I enjoyed my Chicken tacos and the side sauce that came with them. I love trying new places and small businesses in particular. The truck is a little pricier - higher than an indoors Mexican restaurant in my opinion. However, I still liked their set up because they had permanent picnic tables and benches outside. Also, the food felt more authentic than some of the others I've went to in town. My service was good as well. I intend to try some different items in the future. I wasn't feeling super adventurous the first time I went.“
“Despite all the reviews, we needed to figure out for ourselves and were pleasantly surprised. The chicken enchiladas and birria tacos ? were amazing. The kids loved the refried beans and rice. Took a star away because they don’t serve alcohol. The interior was very clean and our server was knowledgeable about the menu and speedy. We will be back!Kid-friendliness: High chairs, booster seats and fun kid cups.“
“One of the best places in Hobbs! We always love the food! Everything is made right in front of you and the portions are massive! The staff is ALWAYs accommodating to my picky kiddo and pleasantly will make the changes you request to customize your dish! 10/10, gotta try it!“
