Uncover Los Alamos' Mexican dining scene with Restaurantji's insights.
“The customer service was amazing ?. The staff was very friendly and very detailed in explaining menu options. The plating was beautiful and all the ingredients tasted fresh and the food was absolutely delicious. We are not disappointed we stopped in. Que Rico la Comida!“
“This is one of my favorite restaurants in town! I eat here once a week! My favorites are the Chile relleno burrito with smothered French fries and the cheese enchiladas. Delicious!! Bring a container for leftovers (or ask for one) because the portions are huge!! Victor (the owner) is always on site, super friendly and kind, and knows how to make food that makes people happy!!“
“Chili Works is a dive location and if you know dives, they make the best food! Highly recommend the Steak Green Chili Burrito. When I travel I look for the dive restaurants because you know it’s going to be on point. Service is fast, food is hot and ready to go in no time flat (took me 3 minutes to get 3 burritos). I’ve been in Los Alamos 22 years and am really going to miss these burritos.“
“Burritos are my absolute favorite food - and this was one of the best burritos I've had in my entire life (Arizona Burrito). For only 8 dollars! I had to take some home with me because the portions are so big. The sauces and pico were absolutely delicious. Super fast service and authentic atmosphere. If you're in Los Alamos, do not miss this place - it's a must do. I would even take a detour and re route my trip to come here again.“
“This is an amazing local gem! After trying to do a large lunch order with other local restaurants with no success, Hot Rocks Java Cafe came thru in a huge way! We had a last minute large lunch order. They accommodated us with no problems and were so pleasant!! Their food options are always delicious. I highly recommed❤️“
“Good food but not sure what's up with the people ordering food and going to the drive through a minute later holding up the whole drive through line for 15 minutes. They should be told to park and come inside if they are to early for their order.“
“This is the best spot for breakfast burritos for 50 miles, and it’s always freshly and quickly prepared. My husband asks me to pick up a bacon and red anytime I’m going by, and I get the sausage and green. I’ve also had an excellent chimichanga, carne adovada burrito, and Chile relleno burrito. We are trying their tamales tonight, which were hot and waiting. We make more trips than we have to so we can stop by!“
“stopped by for my second visit and, based upon the previous customers order, ordered fish tacos ... being from Santa Fe, I am spoiled on Mexican food, but the restaurant can stand up to the best in Santa Fe; if you are in the area and crave a taco, forget Taco Bell and get the real stuff here ...“
“Outstanding stop in White Rock neighborhood of Los Alamos. Chef Crucet runs a well oiled restaurant, where you are always treated as a special guest. The food is the best for 35 miles in all directions. The baked goods are fresh daily and do run out. Lunch is always relaxing and the coffee drinks are wonderful.“
