“Sazon was a roller coaster - see below for rated list of what we ate and drank. I STRONGLY recommend sticking to the chef recommended dishes/specials. My main course (stuffed eggplant) and dessert (princesa) were extremely disappointing. Meanwhile, my fiance ordered the fish of the day with two moles and it was the best meal of the trip for him. As for service, our waiter was an absolute GEM, so personable and friendly!- Mole sampler: 10/10 (Magical!)- Cochata cocktail: 9/10 (Delicious)- Temiqui cocktail: 9/10 (Delicious)- Sangria Blanco: 8/10 (Good)- Prickly pear mocktail: 5/10 (Nothing special, very sweet, limited flavors)- Xochimilco tacos: 10/10 (Magical, unique)- Soap de Amor: 10/10 (Magical, intriguing combo of ingredients!)- Berenjena (stuffed eggplant): 4/10 (Lacking in flavor and disappointing. The swirl of sauce on the side was good and did it's best to carry the dish but wasn't enough.)- Fish of the day: 10/10 (sea bass, magical, cooked to perfection, with 2 different moles)- Dolce Sinfonia: 10/10 (magical experience and combo of flavors!)- 0 (I enjoy eating unsweetened whipped cream and berries for dessert, however - the cream and pastry had zero sweetness or flavor and the textures weren't great together. Confusing, as though sugar was forgotten. Berries were sweet but not in a way that carried the plain clotted cream and pastry).“
“Tres Colores is unforgettable! Fresh ingredients shine in their dishes. The chilaquiles, with its green chile sauce, is a standout. Fish tacos are both tasty and healthy. Don't miss the Tres Colores special margarita - it's worth having more than one!Tres Colores isn't just about the food; the service is exceptional too. The main host gentleman and the rest of the staff provide outstanding service, adding to the overall dining experience.“
“Every bit of 5 stars, I’d give 10 if I could! The BEST breakfast burrito of my entire life, without a doubt! The best Chile ever and what Chile is SUPPOSED to taste like and I’ve been all over the state the past couple months and tried plenty! The service is kind, quick and on top of things and the atmosphere is totally laid back and relaxed! Also the bathroom is super clean and one of the nicest I’ve seen in any restaurant! A little pricey but definitely worth the price if you’re willing to spend it and can!“
“All I can say is, wow. The food was phenomenal. My husband got the burrito and I got the chicken enchiladas with Christmas on the side (red chili sauce and green chili sauce), we shared the chips and salsa. And to our surprise, Sopapillas came with the meal. We’d never had a one before and they were life changing! Luckily we eat dinner early so we didn’t have to wait to be seated. When we left, the line was out the door. I could happily eat my way through the entire menu if we had more time. The staff was friendly and the food was fresh. I highly recommend Tomasita’s I’d you’re in Santa Fe.“
“Solid A+ diner. The stuffed sopaipillas are excellent, the servers are cheerful and friendly, and the regular side sopaipillas are perfect.Vegetarian options: The veggie stuffed sopaipilla got a rave review from the vegetarian in our group.“
“Went for brunch and got the sopecitos, chilaquiles, fish tacos and tacos al pastor... everything was amazing. The space is really nice, and so were the staff. The patio looks lovely and is covered. Indoors was really quiet. We had a long wait for the food (more than a half hour), so maybe not a good place to go if you're in a rush. But the food was worth it.“
“Absolutely. Amazing. There's a reason everyone in town, including other restaurants, get their tortillas here! Alicia and crew know how to make some fantastic traditional Mexican food. Huge portions, good prices, fresh, fast, delicious. Their chicken mole is to die for and easily feeds 2-3 people! Their enchiladas are also top notch. Used to eat here almost every week for lunch when I worked nearby.“
“It's not easy to say that you've possibly eaten the best Mexican food ever when you've lived in Texas and Arizona for over 20 years, but.......this restaurant is amazing! It is an absolute must if you ever visit Santa Fe. If the line out the door in 30° weather doesn't tell you everything, the food, drinks, and service will do the rest.“
“Sunrise Family Restaurant is a real deal diner. AMAZING breakfast, friendly service and atmosphere that makes you feel like you've been eating there all your life. We had the chicken fried steak with eggs, waffle, huevos rancheros and an omelet. Everyone loved it and left full (with left overs). And the prices are very reasonable. We will definitely be back next time we're in Santa Fe, for breakfast AND lunch!“
“Went for an early dinner, had to wait 45 minutes to be seated, but luckily we had drinks while we waited. Once seated the young waitress was very attentive and friendly. The food was pretty good, chili hot n spicy. The guacamole was very good as well.“
“Absolutely delicious and fast friendly service. As vegetarians we appreciated that impossible meat could be subbed in almost every entree- wish more restaurants did that. We sat outside with a view of the plaza and it was delightful.Vegetarian options: Can substitute impossible meat in most entrees.“
“Can’t wait to come back to New Mexico and have these tacos again. They hit the spot if you’re craving flavorful meat, spicy salsas and refreshing toppings. They do it a little different here as far as toppings which I love, they have diced fresh cabbage, red pickled onion and of course Chiles toreados (fried whole chilies)… my mouth is watering!Super bummed we missed the burritos but I gladly had another two adobo tacos for breakfast. LolVery friendly staff and a couple benches to sit at or plenty of parking to post up in your car.“
“Located right next to the La Quinta in Santa Fe. The place has a great selection of traditional New Mexican eats with some live entertainment on Thursdays. Large and satisfying portions that were made with love and care for quality. Something for everyone on the menu for breakfast lunch and dinner.“
“If you are in town looking for an amazing taco truck or live locally, this is the place. Blown away!! The gentleman who helped us was so friendly and helpful, he also just had the best personality too. I wish I could say what my favorite thing was, but they were all equally amazing.“
“I had four tacos and a beef fajita. I have never had that many tacos in one meal ever at anywhere else just because they are too delicious. They have a large variety for meat such as shrimp, beef, beef tongue, and beef tripe etc. Beef tongue taco is a must have, which is really flavorful and tender. Their salsa and roasted jalapeno is spicy enough that is fully satisfying. Their food is not too salty but also let you add the amount of salt you want so it fits your taste the most. I would have come back every other day if I lived in Santa Fe.“
“Great vegetarian and chicken options. Great salsas. And bison! Bison is such a rare meat; I rarely have the opportunity to even think about it, much less eat it at an affordable price. But at K’ Bueno, the bison is king. You’re missing out by not eating here, doubly so by not ordering the bison. My girlfriend insists that I mention the tortillas. Which is fair: they’re excellent, browned to perfection yet still supple. Anyways. Go here.“
“This place was fantastic. There was a long wait but we got lucky because someone canceled. We had the tamale plate and chicken enchiladas with red sauce. It was all top notch. Our server was also fantastic. We will definitely be back again.“
“I'm not a fan of tequila, but their cocktails are fantastic. And the prices are pleasantly reasonable for a touristy area. You'd easy pay twice as much in S. Francisco, LA, NY, South Florida or any ski resort town in Colorado.Parking: Parking lot for hotel guests only (we were). Still a bit tight, but Santa Fe is an old town. Wasn't built for cars.“
“It was the best beef caldo I have ever had! The spices created a wonderful tongue surface burn, so you can still taste the food! I turned up the heat with the Chile powder on the table. The flavors the chick peas gave it are unexplainable!! In addition, the piece of stewed cabbage is a treat! Come and get yours!!“
“Loved the salmon wrap. DeliciousA papusa to go. Good stuff.Vegetarian options: Son dishes are vegetarian but I’m not quite there yet. I liked the salmon.Kid-friendliness: I saw kids and families enjoying themselves.Wheelchair accessibility: No steps except the curb. Easy in easy out.“
“This place was booming during the lunch hour and they still managed to get us seated and served in under 30 minutes The girls work together as wait staff should clearing tables and serving helping one another out getting everybody fed excellent service here wonderful food..“
“We LOVED Atrisco's Cafe! We visited Santa Fe from Southern California and we were really looking forward to some fantastic New Mexican cuisine. The problem is that we are vegetarian, and we've had a really difficult time finding suitable New Mexican food, since almost all restaurants do not offer vegetarian options--until we found Atrisco's.Not only did Atrisco's offer vegetarian options, but their offerings were mouth watering and prepared expertly. This was one of the best New/Mexican experiences we've ever had.We ordered 2 beers, chips and salsa, sopaipillas, the vegetarian especial enchilada, vegetarian especial stuffed sopaipilla and a kid's cheese enchilada with a side of beans. What a meal! The veggies especial included mushrooms, zucchini, yellow squash, red pepper and green pepper, and they were busting with flavor and still tender crisp. We've had vegetarian Mexican food that tasted like stewed vegetables because they were so overcooked, and they included broccoli and cauliflower for Pete's sake! These are not veggies that say Mexico or New Mexico.Even the tortilla chips were extraordinary. They weren't oily, and were a bit thicker than your normal chips. The corn flavor in them was remarkable. The salsa was medium spicy, chunky and oh so delicious! YUM!We had the sopaipillas with local honey that was on our table. The cinnamon flavor really came through without being overpowering. The honey was so thick and flavorful that you could taste the wildflowers that it was made from. This was a top notch experience and I highly recommend you try Atrisco's. You won't be disappointed.Vegetarian options: Enchiladas, Sopaipillas, burritos, tacos and chilli rellenos could all be ordered vegetarian, including chips and salsa, chili fries and sopaipillas.Kid-friendliness: Atrisco's had a kid's menu with tacos, enchiladas, burrito, hamburger and a grilled cheese sandwich“
“One of my favorite food trucks!! She is so nice and accommodating! So far, we've really enjoyed the carnitas, burgers, burritos, and quesabirria! Definitely one of the best carnitas in town!!(Also this is the cutest food cart I've ever seen - love the apple!!?)“
“Great experience and tasty food while shopping around the plaza. The pineapple cucumber drink was delicious! We had to order another one to go. They also offer cash discounts as well.Kid-friendliness: They offer kids menu. Kids menu come with crayons to keep children occupied“
“Stopped here for breakfast due to a local recommendation. Got breakfast burritos and a cinnamon roll. Hands down the best cinnamon roll we’ve ever had. If you’re heading this way, definitely recommend a stop. So good, great staff, super cute inside and great atmosphere and cute grounds.“
“Estevans is Santa Fe‘s best kept secret... from start to finish. It is a five star experience. We arrived to a romantic cozy environment on a Saturday night and started with the guacamole appetizer which was tastefully and artfully done... The chicken piarf is phenomenal and so are the salads ...perfect date night environment... I highly recommend.“
“The food at fusion tacos Santa Fe place Mall is exceptional! Very tasty and well prepared and you can chose among many menu options. I love the service at this amazing place. The owners Rene and Rita are super friendly with their costumers, and always take care to offer the best quality! I highly recommend this place.“
“The food was really good it was really worth the price I had a torta de Barbacoa freaking bomb and they are not stingy you get every penny worth, if you want some real Mexican food this is where to find it and get your money's worth and...they were fast“
“The staff and the food were amazing. When the owner came out to greet my family, he took special care of us the entire time. We are from Southlake Texas and we have good Mexican food but el Callejón was world class food and service. Highly recommended.“
“Stayed in Santa Fe for a couple of nights and really wanted some affordable delicious food and Pollo Asado was just that! For $20 we got the taco plate with 4 tacos beans and rice and a huge burrito. Food was DELICIOUS and fresh!! Also the hot sauce was bomb“
“We were worried about the wait, but we were seated quickly, wait staff were on their game. We ordered within 5min of being seated and were worried about the wait time, but less than 10 min We were served a fresh steaming hot meal. My fish was definitely right out the fryer, my moms patty melt was right off the grill. The green Chile queso was fresh and tasty. The green Chile was spicy but not too hot. The tartar sauce was delicious but I didn't get any hint of the habanero. Wouldn't mind hotter Chile.“
“Rave reviews from our entire family on this. Tacos, tortas, Santa Fe burger, fries, and the RED CHILE omg, just incredible. Wish they'd had the tables and chairs on this balmy spring day, but otherwise, this was so good it makes us wish we lived here!“
“In my humble opinion this is the best taco truck in Santa Fe. Portions are great, price is great, the taste of the food is authentic and the customer service is even better. I showed up last night at 6:55pm and they did not turn me down unlike other places.“
“Not "normal" Mexican, and I mean that in a good way. Wife had the mushroom cuesadilla that she enjoyed. I stepped out of my comfort zone and had the chicken enchiladas with a Pomegranate Mole. Interesting lightly sweet taste. Very tasty.“
“It's our first time visiting Santa Fe and of course we wanted to indulge in the delicious food this city is known for. With so many places to choose from and friends/family providing several recommendations, we decided to ask the gentleman who works at the hotel we're staying at. Posa's was his immediate answer, and he was very confident we would not be disappointed. We headed straight over and had to take a gamble with our ordering skills, as you order at the counter then sit down. We went for two combo plates and a steak quesadilla, plus chips & salsa. I knew at the first bite that this place was it. We found the spot that we will continue to tell everyone they MUST try when in Santa Fe. The staff were all very accommodating, helpful, personable and they listened to us feed them compliments, which were very well deserved. Let me tell you, the food, staff, prices and atmosphere are so excellent that we are going back in the morning for more (and taking what we can back to Denver).“
“Great tacos in the authentic style, cilantro and onion. 3 tacos, plus rice and beans was $11. Woofed them down before I even got a picture. 2 steak and a chorizo, excellent. Served with a bit of slaw and radish. Quality at a competitive price with so many other options around.“
“My recent experience ordering two Sonora hot dogs left me thoroughly impressed and eager to spread the word about this fantastic food truck.First and foremost, the Sonora hot dogs were absolutely delicious. The flavors were bold, authentic, and truly mouthwatering. The combination of the perfectly grilled hot dogs, soft and toasted buns, and the generous toppings created a delightful explosion of flavors in every bite. From the savory bacon and grilled onions to the tangy salsa and creamy avocado, each component came together harmoniously to create a taste sensation that left me craving more. The quality of the ingredients used by Sonora Kitchen Food Truck was evident in every aspect of the hot dogs. The hot dogs themselves were of outstanding quality, with a juicy and flavorful bite that was simply irresistible. The toppings were fresh and vibrant, adding a burst of freshness and enhancing the overall taste experience. Moreover, the service provided by the Sonora Kitchen team was exceptional. The staff members were friendly, efficient, and passionate about their food. Their enthusiasm and dedication to customer satisfaction added to the overall positive experience. The convenience of the food truck format was also a highlight. Sonora Kitchen Food Truck is located in Santa Fe, NM, making it easily accessible and perfect for a quick and satisfying meal on the go. The Sonora hot dogs are a flavor-packed delight, showcasing the culinary expertise and passion of the team. With their high-quality ingredients, friendly service, and convenient location, Sonora Kitchen Food Truck is a must-visit for anyone craving a delicious and authentic dining experience. I wholeheartedly recommend trying their Sonora hot dogs and exploring the other mouthwatering offerings on their menu.“
“This is the 5th El Parasol we have tried. The tacos are fried to perfection. The bean burrito with red sauce hit the spot. We think the red chili was a tiny bit spicier here than we remembered elsewhere. The restaurant has a bit fancier decor than the other locations. LOVE the food can’t wait for our next trip to New Mexico.“
“I enjoy coming here for the breakfast burrito deal in the late morning. I’ve gone a few times and usually order pic-up, but every once and a while we will sit at the bar and order a michelada while we wait or the cerviche tostadas (on a separate occasion, which were fantastic). The service is usually very good and it’s always the same few people who take or process our order. Great place to grab a bite or order a drink!“
“Holy Mole!!! I just had a spiritual experience! The holiest of moles. There's the Beatitudes, and then there's mole. It forgives all sins... even the extra glass of wine. From the first bite it wrapped its silky warmth around me like a soft blanket and whispered "It's gonna be ok." I usually get the filet when I come to Dinner For Two and they are some of the best I've ever had but I'm so glad this time I strayed from the steak and narrow and saw the light of this mole. Thank the sweet baby Jesus!“
“We found them at the Plaza in Santa Fe. After a discussion of where to sate our appetite with a late lunch we decided to hit up the cart. They were out of the red chile pork tamales so we settled on the last two of their green chile chicken tamales and a beef fajita wrap. The tamales were delicious and despite the beef being a little dry (not surprising for the end of their day) it was still delicious. The service was great, both guys running the cart were smiling and friendly, we were able to pay with a credit card which was not expected but convenient and it was the serving size and price were exactly what we needed. Hopefully when we return today it will be in time to get the pork tamales!“
“This is the best spot for breakfast burritos for 50 miles, and it’s always freshly and quickly prepared. My husband asks me to pick up a bacon and red anytime I’m going by, and I get the sausage and green. I’ve also had an excellent chimichanga, carne adovada burrito, and Chile relleno burrito. We are trying their tamales tonight, which were hot and waiting. We make more trips than we have to so we can stop by!“
“This place is fantastic!! The prices are very affordable and honestly the food was better than some of the restaurants that are triple the price downtown. The owners are very friendly and the food is prepared quickly. If you are staying at one of the hotels or casinos nearby, I highly recommend skipping the food there and stopping here for breakfast or lunch. I had a tostada and my husband had a breakfast burrito and both were fantastic. Ingredients were fresh and homemade, my carne asada was flavorful and very tender. Wish we had a bigger appetite to try the barrio fries, fantastic all around“
“Went for my brother's and his wife anniversary. Didn't know it was jam session Sunday. We danced and drank. Food was good but you never bring out one plate then in time ,the next. Party of 5 took some time for all of us to eat. Waiter needs “
“We ordered from their truck after visiting Meow Wolf, and boy was this the right decision. We were visiting New Mexico for a week and this truck's Gracias Burger was the best lunch I had on our entire trip. You need to like spicy though, because the Chile in this burger has a kick. My wife had the fish tacos which were ok, probably would've been great in any other circumstance but fell short because the burger was so phenomenal. Get the burger.“
“I found this place at a whim, feeling very hungry after watching my grandson playing a basketball game. The waitress was cordial and professional. I was interested in trying their version of menudo, and my wife was interested in the relleno plate. The way the rellenos were made are different but very good. The menudo is good as well. It pairs up with the corn tortillas better than bread that they provided. Mind you, the larger bowl of menudo is literally a large bowl very well worth the price. Now, as for the relleno plate, we are not sure why a Russian salad is served with it. It was different, but very tasty. A Guatemalan/ Mexican food restaurant serving a Russian salad is baffling. They do serve very delicious food and the place is quite busy as well. They do have kids' favorite food available. It's a good place to try at least once, and they do have a website as well.“
“The fastest tacos on the block. Tripe tacos are a delicacy these days, and El Kochi Loco leaves you more than satisfied with the most epic crunchy, but tender, tacos with the traditional cilantro and onion toppings. The red and green salsas are a great compliment to any pork fixings you choose. This place is definitely all about those craving for good pork and hot food. They're super fast and friendly even during their busiest times. I love the Tamarindo jarritos, but this time I had to go with the bottled sangria. Looking forward to another visit very soon. Very convenient to those passing through town, or the busy locals who crave for some good old traditional Mexican food, served blazing fast.“
“Food was delicious highly recommended ? the service was great and friendly amazing food for the price a ? plate it's only $12.00 with rice nad beans the burrito are great we has tacos de asada, carnitas, tripa and all were delicious ?.“
“Food was excellent and places was great! Staff was very friendly and personable. The only reason why I gave it 4 stars is because though I waiter was nice, after taking our order he never came back to check on us... no one did. We wanted a refill, needed more napkins and another fork and could never get anyone's attention, though our waiter passed by us a few times. Next time we are that way we will stop by again. I'm sure it will be better!“
“We ate at the Cantina. Food and service were great. I had the best seasoned steak in a taco that I've ever had. I thought the music was a bit loud for a Sunday night, but the view made up for it.One thing that is unclear though... I'm not sure why these restaurants are listed together -the Cafe and the Cantina . When we went here for dinner, we were told in no uncertain terms that the Cantina functions as a completely separate restaurant from the Cafe. As such, the reservations that we made at the Cafe were no good for rooftop seating at the Cantina. We ended up getting seats at the Cantina without a problem, but I don't know why they don't just list the places separately to avoid the confusion?“
