“My son and I stopped here to grab a burger after putting it a day of skiing at Sandia. He got a burger and I got the Philly cheesesteak and they were both excellent! The local brews are awesome and they even have a pool table. If you want to get a game in before you leave! Highly recommend stopping here for a meal!“

“Always bright and cheery. The Air Force Pararescue heritage is near and dear to my heart. My favorite is the Azteca- dark chocolate mocha w/Red Chile, pure Albuquerque. Beautiful stop on a bike or jog up and down Tramway.“

“We visited Boxing Bear our first night in town and we loved the location. VERY dog friendly, great beer and several restaurants in the same strip center so lots of food variety. I could see this as a very regular hangout for locations with all those positives. We will visit again when we are back in town.“

“Always a pleasant experience, worth the drive up from town. Coffee and staff are fantastic, kid loves the tea. Beautiful location.Vegetarian options: Alternative milks, and I believe vegan burritos but I can't do gluten so never tried.“
“We came in and sampled each of the 4 ciders on tap. They were all amazing! My favorites were the Prickly Pear and the Lavender Lemon, but I'd recommend all 4. If you like cider and you're in the area, you should definitely stop by.We've sampled hundreds of ciders, and these are absolutely top-notch.“

“My mom and I come here all the time and it’s delicious! The owner is super friendly and he always remembers us. Even my grandmother, who is very picky and who was born and raised in Mexico, loves his food! The posole is the best posole i’ve ever had, it’s my favorite. Everyone loves his chili and my mom loves his gorditas. Everything we have tried from this restaurant has been so good.“

“Nestled in the sleepy foothills of the north Sandia mountains is a readily accessible Bistro that should be visited by all who enjoy a great meal at an equitable price. The setting is lovely, the staff is friendly and efficient, but unobtrusive and the management gives you the impression that they are delighted you have come to visit. It is a great place for celebrations, small groups, or a low-key getaway. You might want to try it.“
“Great food and great beer. Loved the Oktoberfest and my girl enjoyed the Pink Warrior. Was quite busy with trivia but if you can get a seat it’s definitely worth it. Trenton was serving us outside and was absolutely killing it! He had a great attitude and took care of everything and everyone promptly and with skill. Had to give that guy props! Would definitely return!“

“We've loved coming here for years. Reliably good dishes with decent variety for lunch/dinner. Great selection of drinks, including beers on tap. Really nice ambiance and patio seating when warm enough. They're kid-friendly and provide coloring books. Great staff!“

“It pains me to modify my review of this place. But $47 for two plates and a Burrito and the food was subpar at best. Very small portions and they still forgot my order of tortillas. Not sure what happened since Superbowl Sunday but it's really bad.“

“We had a great dinner here the other day. We were hungry so we opted for the AYCE Cadillac platter served family style. We ordered the turkey, pulled pork, sausage, brisket and ribs . All the meats were delicious but the pork ribs and brisket were the stand outs so we ordered more of those meats only on our refills. The sausage did have a kick to it in case you're sensitive to spicy foods. The homemade bread was awesome as well as all of sides including the potato salad topped with paprika. Our server, Star, did a top notch job. She was super friendly and accommodating with any questions we had. This place has really stepped up its game, my opinion. As locals that live down the street in Sandia Heights, we came here a few times a few years ago right after COVID and the food was not that great. The pork was dry and the service just average. We happened to see a new commercial on tv and decided to give it another shot after a two year hiatus. I am glad we did! To those locals or frequent visitors to Abq that that had a similar experience like ours in the past, I say DEFINITELY give them another shot and you'll be impressed. The place was also 80% full when we were there at 5pm on a Tuesday, which shows they are doing things right. Keep up the good work. We are going to try the humongous beef ribs on our next visit.“
“I love to stop here for beer and a pizza after a long day on the mountain….and sometimes I just drive up from Albuquerque because the vibe is great! Superb outdoor seating amongst the forest, occasional live music, phenomenal pizza and delicious beer! Rumor is the ideal spot for a pit stop when passing through Cedar Crest.“

“I've been there a few times. I wouldn't say it rates 5 stars. Items are overpriced and I don't find the staff to be particularly friendly.“
