“The fact this place has gotten less than 5 stars by anyone should be considered criminal. EVERYTHING about the place is perfect. Walking up to it is so warm, inviting, and intimate. Finding the proper word to describe the service, the food, and the atmosphere is proving to be impossible because it was so beyond impeccable. The tortilla soup was the best I have ever had, bison ribeye was cooked perfectly and was a joy to partake in eating. The apple crisp and vanilla ice cream dessert was the the perfect ending to a perfect experience. To those who gave less than 5 stars, I hope you lose your keys before an important event and you are late as a result. To those who work there, I cannot thank you enough. And to those that have not gone there...go.“
“We had to try this place when we saw all the great reviews, we had lunch and it was great! But the hidden gem that we didn't know about is their bakery. My oh my, Michael's hands down has the BEST doughnuts we've ever had. They melt in your mouth. We drive over an hour sometimes on the weekends just to get their doughnuts before they sell out.“
“this place is so good it has tradition food it was good to eat special food never had it this good so I recommend this place to anybody that goes to Taos Pueblo tourist visitors family relatives around there a good place to eat reasonable prices.“
“Stopped by late in the evening and even though they were busy, we were given a table pretty quick. The food was delicious, I recommend the old timer and the lamb burger. The fries were good but the onion rings were delicious. The name fits the restaurant well. Next time we visit we will be back to enjoy the food again.“
“Oh man, this place is professional! The staff is so lovely. Kelly, our server couldn't have been better! Our dinners were top notch and we absolutely loved it! The paella special was off the charts and the creme brulee was the silkiest creamiest brulee I ever had in my entire life. 5 stars all around! Great for date night or a casual fine dining experience with friends or colleagues.“
“We came here on a weekend trip to ski a little and happened across this wonderful establishment. From the second we walked in the ambiance was as perfect as it could get, we were greeted immediately with soft and warm welcomes. The service was nothing short of incredible and prompt, if you ever find yourself in town for a weekend this is a very great way to spend your night.“
“I love this place! It's at the crossroads of 150, 64, and 68. a great central location for meeting people coming from many different directions. It's a huge space and there's a fabulous backyard with an amazing view of Taos mountain. I went to the Super Bowl party last night and they set up two projectors, and had all four TVs broadcasting the game! It was a blast! There were raffles and prizes throughout the game! I took full advantage of the Super Bowl special, and had wings and beer on the cheap!“
“Finally tried this restaurant we did take out and do have a ways home so understand it wasn't still hot but that being said was still warm and good. My husband had the chicken fried steak. I had a philly and besides the bread being a bit burnt it was good. We enjoyed the side salad and pickle fries! The regular fries are not for us! Can't wait to try more on the menu and dine in! ?“
“Most beautiful quaint atmosphere & to die for Margaritas!Live music every night, the night we were there Bob Andrews was playing, world renowned keyboardist and producer, he played with Graham Parker!Excellent customer service as well!Parking: Parking is behind the Inn.“
“I gave it a 5.I tried Mexican cuisine several times and was not delighted. I went to the establishment on the first floor, but there were no people there, so we went up to the second floor to the Gorge Bar where it was noisy. We decided to stay. The food arrived quickly and, to my surprise, everything was delicious.“
“Wish I could give more stars. They got us in on a Saturday night without a reservation and gave us an amazing table. Our server was wonderful and our food was beyond delicious. Their fillet and butter poached lobster tails are out of this world. The entire experience was so perfect that we made a reservation for the next night and ate there again only to have an even better experience because we tried more menu items. Romaine salad was like a much tastier Caesar and the seafood spaghetti is also a huge yes. This place is a MUST visit when in Taos, so call in advance to ensure you get a table!“
