“What a spectacular find!! Everything was so amazing made from scratch and with superb ingredients. The carrot, curry and crab soup was beautiful and delicious, the portion large enough to be willing to share. It felt sinful not to finish, but I wanted to have room for my entree of duck confit pad thai style. I do not have a sweet tooth and rarely order dessert, but could not pass up the butterscotch pudding with caramel sauce and sea salt. Every bite of the meal was heavenly. Our dinner here was the absolutely best part of our vacation in Santa Fe. We ate at two other restaurants with either Michelin Stars and/or a James Beard award-winning chef (one of which was grossly overrated), and this dinner won hands down. I would have appreciated a more extensive wine list, but loved the dining experience too to bottom. The decor was interesting and cozy with beautifully painted (as in on the glass) sheer curtains and tablecloths, sparkling candles sconces all over the walls and beautiful cooper cookware. The staff was cheery but not overbearing, just perfect.“
“The Pantry is such a cozy and yummy spot for breakfast, in our case. I had the stuffed French toast which was absolutely delicious. The creamy filling paired perfectly with the strawberry topping and the toast itself was just right. I’ve never had French toast done up in such a way before and now I’m going to be looking for a place closer to home where I can get the same. Service was great and attentive despite a packed house.“
“Ordered the Santa Fe Mac and the Ham & Cheese grilled cheese. Grilled cheese was top notch! Would definitely get one of them again. Mac was good but needed something… we prefer it saltier but that’s just our personal preference. We actually crumbled the chips that came with our grilled cheese in it and loved it! Would definitely come here again!“
“We always love going to Terra Cotta and make it a point to recommend to friends and out of town guests every chance we get. Glenda and Linda are most gracious owners/hosts and we always are made to feel at home. Best wine menu and value in town!“
“This was my first time visiting and it absolutely will not be the last as this amazing restaurant in one of my top favorite restaurants of all time. There's no exaggeration when I say that the ingredients taste extraordinarily fresh and bright and the combinations are Pure culinary wizardry. Everything on the menu was outstanding, but the panacotta defies gravity. This is an absolute jewel. Congratulations to everybody involved in this restaurant. I can't fail to mention the extraordinary Wine collection that is available with price ranges of all comfort levels.“
“Absolutely delicious and fast friendly service. As vegetarians we appreciated that impossible meat could be subbed in almost every entree- wish more restaurants did that. We sat outside with a view of the plaza and it was delightful.Vegetarian options: Can substitute impossible meat in most entrees.“
“From start to finish a fantastic way to celebrate my birthday. As a surprise my husband booked this restaurant, neither of us having visited this place before. From my funny initial interaction to inquire if there was dress code, to our final dish, this restaurant went above and beyond to provide an exuberant experience. It was a chilly day requiring the use of coats, and immediately upon arrival they offered a place for them to be deposited while we were seated. The restaurant was cozy, with the perfect mood lighting for a romantic evening. Our waiter was professional, experienced, and a great wealth of knowledge regarding the dishes and pairings. To start our appetizer we chose for the vegetarian tasting plate, the gouda polenta being perfectly crispy, the bisque exquisitely flavorful, my favorite however was the goat cheese salad and polenta. For entrees, I chose the the beef tenderloin, my partner opting for the lamb rack. To say I was impressed was an understatement. The beef was tender, buttery, and cooked to perfection, the accompanying sauce, potato tartine, mushroom and tomato duxelle created a symphony in my mouth. The lamb was cooked to the perfect temperature, avoidant of gaminess and risotto to die for. The plate finished with a fantastic surprise of lava cake and the perfect cinnamon gelato. If you have been wanting to try this restaurant but been afraid, please go, it is well worth your visit.“
“Located right next to the La Quinta in Santa Fe. The place has a great selection of traditional New Mexican eats with some live entertainment on Thursdays. Large and satisfying portions that were made with love and care for quality. Something for everyone on the menu for breakfast lunch and dinner.“
“So, this place was recommended so we decide to try it for lunch. The cost leaves a lot to be desired. It was $15 for a grilled cheese. My wife and son did not care for their meals. It was $50 for 3 to have lunch. While the service was not horrible, it was not great either. They did not have assigned tables, so the servers did not know who was gonna help us and had 3 people trying to take our order, and our water was not refilled.“
“Sunrise Family Restaurant is a real deal diner. AMAZING breakfast, friendly service and atmosphere that makes you feel like you've been eating there all your life. We had the chicken fried steak with eggs, waffle, huevos rancheros and an omelet. Everyone loved it and left full (with left overs). And the prices are very reasonable. We will definitely be back next time we're in Santa Fe, for breakfast AND lunch!“
“We dined here last night, about 2:30 in afternoon (three adults). Was surprised how busy you were, that is a good sign. We sat in the bar, at a booth, have dined here several times in the past. That said, the food was good, always love the barbecue, I might say the selections were somewhat typical for Santa Fe. I know this may be beyond your desire but the Margaritas were way too sour, had to ask for additive of simple syrup (which was brought immediately with a smile). It might behoove you to ask your patrons if they desire a sweet Margarita or sour. That said our (female) server was excellent, better than recent visit to Harry's Roadhouse, La Posada, and Rio Chama. Thank you! The deserts, wish you would offer more variety if possible. I went over the desert menu several times, couldn't decide which one was a little less blahhh. The cheesecake was bland and nothing special. Perhaps a slice of apple pie or such, would accompany the barbecue dinner nicely. All in all we have been coming to your establishment for years, the service and atmosphere is consistent and excellent. Cost was $125.00 with tip. I can also appreciate your response to the reviews, wow, shows a commitment to service and better than average fare. We are Santa Fe residents.“
“Really nice ambience. If you have a meal during day time, the light from the top is great. The walls are stained glass done by local artist Ernesto Martinez. The food is expensive, but quite flavorful and is very well presented. Make a reservation as it fires get busy. They have an extensive wine list. The service is quick and efficient. If you want to splurge, this is a nice option in Santa Fe.Dietary restrictions: Limited choices if you are a vegetarian but they will customizeParking: Hotel’s parking garageKid-friendliness: Kids menu available“
“Excellent food served by wonderful staff who makes you feel welcome and relaxed. I'm still dreaming about the butter-soft filet mignon and the best fries I've had in a very long time. They also have interesting wine-by-the-glass selections. The dining room is spacious, with tables set far apart (in a good way), and the light is warm and softly subdued. A very nice place for a very nice meal.“
“I had such a lovely experience at Radish & Rye. The Buffalo Trace drinks were amazing!! The bartenders service was the best, I even got to learn of a special drink the owner makes from Buffalo Trace and cardamom and served in the tiniest, most beautiful glass! I got the ribs as an appetizer, they had a unique and wonderful BBQ sauce and were so tender. I ordered the lions mane special for dinner which was delightful, the sauce was slightly spicy and very creative. The butter cake for dessert was to live for! I'm going back so I can keep trying more! Overall, it was a great experience and a beautiful restaurant, the food was exceptional! Thank you for the experience!“
“It was the middle of the afternoon. I had just gotten off the plane. I was starving. I headed over to Canyon road. I was looking for a place to eat. One of the galleries suggested the Tea Room. I walked 15 minutes to the Tea Room. There, they said it was 20 minutes until their lunch service was finished so they would not seat me. I left. Still starving. On the walk back down Canyon Road, I saw a sign for The Compound. I decided to check it out. I am very, very, very glad I did. At The Compound, the ambiance was great. Excellent people watching. People that you wondered what their story was. The service was perfect. Astrea was attentive, but not intrusive. She was also very personable and knowledgeable about the food. Her suggestions were spot on. The food was excellent. The ceviche was great. The venison sausage was very unique. I did not want to take the last bite because I didn’t want it to end. The bread pudding was as good as it gets. This restaurant made me want to buy a house in Santa Fe. If you’re in Santa Fe, don’t miss your chance to eat at The Compound.“
“The #2 (green chile) cheeseburger was delicious. But the fish and chips are off the carts, maybe the best F&C in the city. Only available Friday and Saturday, don't miss this dish. The green beans that come with the fish and chips are fantastic. The chef was so friendly, the food came quickly, and it was lovely sitting in the patio of Santa Fe Brewery with drinks from there. Fantastic experience and food; we will return as I hear the Chicken sandwich isn't to be missed.“
“We went to Skyfire for the first time during restaurant week. The restaurant week selection was limited but varied enough to suit everyone taste, and all delicious. The green risotto was outstanding! It's a lovely setting, and the regular menu looked intriguing. Service was very attentive. We will definitely be back!“
“Went during restaurant week.We went to the sushi side.Service was great and presentation was great. The flaming salmon baked roll was so fun. The sashimi was really good. The sushi rice was just alright. We really likedLiked the real wasabi. Sashimi tartar was good as well as the fried banana. Nothing extraordinary about those two dishes. I didn't know I would say this but the miso soup was the best I have ever had. The broth was so flavorful. The 3 sake sampler was really fun too.“
“We enjoyed a very good dinner here last week on their tented deck - very dog friendly! The green chile chicken enchiladas were delicious and I took half of that home for another dinner. My wife enjoyed her shrimp and grits very much - and just the right ratio of grits to shrimp. We sampled four of their brews and my wife liked her choice of a sour. I'm not a fan of the sour brews and found the remaining selection of their ales limited but they had other breweries ales on tap too. Wish they would brew a good Mexican lager to accompany the enchiladas.“
“I (we) have frequented Midtown Bistro for many years. We have celebrated New Years eve dinners there, brought people from UNM there for lunch, spent Birthdays there and many more special occasions. This most frequent visit was lunch. My Friend ordered the pasta of the day and I ordered salmon. Her pasta was to "die for" as she described it, and my lunch was mediocre at best. The salmon was fine, but the "risotto was dull and very ordinary. The romescu sauce was not appealing at all. We also brought out of town friends for dinner in February. They knew Midtown from years of visiting and also thought their dinner was mediocre. I was not going to spend my friends Birthday lunch at Midtown, she insisted on going to Midtown because she had never been there. I was happy she loved the pasta of the day. I hate to say I would not recommend Midtown, but I feel let down. Thank you.“
“I was super impressed to find good Caribbean food in the middle of new Mexico. Fish tacos, harrisa fries and plantains were great! I was disappointed with the lack of flavor in the beans and rice until I found out that if you mix it with the curry sauce that comes with the plantains, it's amazing!“
“One of my favorite food trucks!! She is so nice and accommodating! So far, we've really enjoyed the carnitas, burgers, burritos, and quesabirria! Definitely one of the best carnitas in town!!(Also this is the cutest food cart I've ever seen - love the apple!!?)“
“It was extremely busy when we went, and we did not have a reservation, but we didn't have to wait too long to be seated. The servers were doing the best they could, and I heard so many people around us complaining about the wait with food, the bill, drinks, etc. But they were doing great with the number of people that were coming and going. Every table was occupied, and you can tell they were short staffed. With all that said, our server was great. She took care of us and checked on us often enough. We ordered the chicken jalapeno tacos, and they were so freakin good! The chicken had a nice grilled char flavor and was seasoned just right. We also got chips and dip, and I loved the guacamole while my husband said the pico was the best he ever had.The chips were so good! Never had anything like them.I don't have photos to post because I left my phone in the car, but the view along with the excellent meal was a great way to wrap up our museum day.“
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Terra, and it was an experience that truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted by a warm and welcoming atmosphere that set the tone for the entire evening. The service was impeccable. Amber, our waitress, was attentive and prompt but also displayed a genuine passion for the food. She was knowledgeable about the menu, offering insightful recommendations and ensuring that our dining experience was personalized and memorable. Now, onto the star of the show – the food. Each dish was a masterpiece, both in presentation and taste. The ingredients were evidently fresh, and the flavors were expertly balanced, creating a delightful symphony on the palate. The menu was diverse, catering to a wide range of tastes, yet each dish was prepared with the same level of care and excellence. The pricing was reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food and the overall dining experience. It was evident that the restaurant prioritizes providing value to their customers, making every penny spent well worth it.“
“Love the 2nd story vibe here with bright dining room overlooking the plaza area. We ordered veggie burger and shrimp and mango salad. Delicious! The sweet potato fries are the best ever. Service is excellent. Prices are within reach of ordinary pocketbooks. Thank you! And dessert, well if you want absolutely made from scratch cheese cake that carries fresh mango bits in creamy ricotta - this is your eatery. Seriously wonderful chef here.“
“TLDR; good food, atmosphere, and service — good but not greatWent on a Saturday morning and didn’t wait at all. Was greeted and sat promptly. 5 starsThe atmosphere is nice and was reminiscent of an old diner. I like the multiple bars — one for alcohol and one for coffee with an open bakery kitchen next to it. 4 starsIt had a large menu and I got the Green Chile Biscuits and Gravy (Fri/Sat only) and a Mocha and my friend got the Green Chile cheeseburger. Both dishes were good, but I’d argue as a NM native that green Chile doesn’t quite suit biscuits and gravy (probably a minority in this opinion). The eggs were cooked over medium (although I asked for easy) but still made well, the hashbrowns had a good crispness but the portion on them was small, and the gravy was decently thick and there was enough to satisfy each bite. The biscuits could have been fresher as the top of the biscuit was a bit stale, but overall I was satisfied. 3.5 starsThe green Chile cheeseburger was okay, but rather plain. Hardly the best in the city I saw some reviews claim. The cheese and bun they used were great though — definitely the winners on the burger. The chile and patty were lacking something (it could just be the seasonal NM crop being unflavorful). I do like that the garnish was on the side versus in the burger, but that’s a personal preference. The chips seemed homemade but lacked seasoning. 4 starsThe mocha was good, but it lacked chocolate. Mostly tasted like a plain cappuccino. They do roast in house which was a plus. 4 starsPrices were higher than the quality reflected, but they seemingly used quality ingredients — just wish execution on the dishes we had were done better.4 Stars“
“I have dined here at Los Amigos throughout the years since it first opened. My favorite restaurant to get authentic New Mexico green & red chili at it's best! The American and New Mexican food is excellent, prepared great, and the best in Santa Fe!!! If you want the real New Mexico chili at it's best come here! Take it from a person who has dined all over town and tried it all. Food is fresh and the service is highly excellent! Employees give you the best service available and you don't have to chase anyone down or go looking for them! They check up on you often and make sure your experience is great! Very friendly with a smile! This restaurant keeps me coming back for more and have taken family & friends here. Daily specials are posted and any questions will be answered! I work in the hospitality business for a Five star Hotel chain and this is hands down one of the best Restaurants in Santa Fe!!!Vegetarian options: Excellent quality made to order.“
“Hawt Pizza Chimayo in Santa Fe is a great place to eat! Their pizzas are better than any others I have tried in Albuquerque. Great gluten free and vegetarian pizza options. Nice selection of fresh salads as well. The service was fast and friendly and the restaurant was very clean. You won’t be disappointed.Robert Marchand“
“Classic, elegant, luxurious, graceful; all synonyms that come to mind when reflecting on dinner at Geronimo. The atmosphere is beautiful, but not pretentious. The service is elevated, but approachable. And the food is developed with something for everyone. What a special place ✨️“
