“Exceptional, we stopped in today after a friend recommended this spot to us - we were not disappointed! The food tasted exceptional, the spring rolls were huge and the food was bursting with flavour. The prices are higher than what we usually pay, but the portion size makes up for the cost. We will be back.“
“We had take out. The portions are large and the food was pretty good. The staff helping us at the restaurant were kind and the service fast.I have to say I was quite surprised by the inside. It did not look at all look a restaurant. It seriously looked like a fancy banquet room. With chandeliers, a stage, and round and square conference style tables and chairs. Take down a few restaurant decos and you could literally have a wedding there. It's beautiful. However, different for a Chinese restaurant that is semi casual.:)“
“Great first impression, came for a quick lunch and stayed longer to enjoy an amazing meal. Home made pasta with beef, veggies and yummy sauce and an order of delicious fried chicken and mushrooms dumplings. Will definitely be back, one of my new fav places.“
“On May 13th 2023, we were at the IWK so we decided to walk to Tasty Kitchen for our lunch, this was our 1st time there, we weren't disappointed, the food was awesome big menu to choose from, the owner is an awesome guy, this was a great find for us will definitely be back soon“
“I have been doing take out here since 2007. This sweet family owned Chinese restaurant has been around Fall River for over decades. The owners will do their best to accommodate your needs as best they can if you are celiac or have any allergies. The food is always served hot and taste delicious. The Service is on point. From time to time take out does get extremely busy in certain times or days, usually long weekends which is why you should order in advance l for pickups- if you are into spicy noodles, I highly recommend one of my fave dishes (Shanghai Noodle Dish).Vegetarian options: Vegetable chop sueyDietary restrictions: CeliacParking: Plenty if Parking“
“Great little hidden gem! We stopped in and thoroughly enjoyed our meals. We both had the pineapple combo plate with spring rolls. You get very large servings, only downside is no side of stir fry vegg but next time we will order it. Very clean & our server was attentive and very politeWe will be back :) thank you“
“This is one of my favorite restaurants downtown Halifax. The food is delicious, no matter what I order. They are very busy but always quick to get your food. The staff are always friendly, polite and helpful. My favorite dish is the pork fried dumplings in noodle soup.“
“Since moving to Halifax from Toronto, being a foodie, its been a challenge finding good places to eat. To be honest, there aren't many authentic Chinese restaurants in HRM. Lets just say I have been to all of them and let me tell you, Red Asian Fusion is the best by far. Don't let the word Fusion fool you, this is the real deal. Authentic Yummy Chinese food and I dare say the best I have had so far. Eating out especially in Nova Scotia is not cheap, but I will pay good money for great food and generous portions. I challenge you to give Red Asian Fusion a try and let me know what you think. Enjoy Eat well and be well :-)“
“As a connoisseur of Asian cuisine I believe this is one of the most authentic hot pots in Atlanta Canada. My brother who dates a woman of Chinese Descent and often eats hot pot at home when I decided to take him to this establishment he was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness, speedy service and high quality cuts of meat. The boys in the kitchen decked out in Adidas tracksuit‘s bathing and bathing ape knew how to make that pot real hot baby. One of the best parts of this hole in the wall is that the price point.“
“Ordered via Uber eats the rice noodle with chili oil and some fish balls. Arrived cold because I’m a bit far and uber eats made several stops on the way to me. Reheated the noodles and they tasted amazing!!!!!! Highly recommend. Great first try and will order again!“
“If you’re missing the lemon chicken, General Gao’s chicken, or chicken chow mein from Long Dragon, Foosing is your best bet. It’s not an exact match but it’s close, very tasty! Vegetables are fresh & crisp, generous portions, reasonably priced, and friendly service.“
“Atmosphere is a bit dated but we took a han e and tried it on our recent trip to Halifax and we were so happy we did.wonderful food, quick to arrive at the table, reasonable prices and friendly waitstaff. We all hope we get an opportunity to go back soon.try the giinger beef, hunan chicken, Singapore noodles and sweet and sour pork. Amazing!!“
“Hongs dinner for 1 with sweet and sour chicken is like nothing I’ve tasted before. The sauce and flavour is absolutely amazing. The rice and veggies are fresh and non-greasy. Do yourself a favour and order it! I crave it constantly and I drive 2 hours for it lol“
“I loved the atmosphere and how delicious everything was. It's a small venue with limited seating allowing the staff and kitchen to focus on quality food and service. I also loved how the menu was short; you knew that whatever you ordered would be delicious. The food did not disappoint, the nachos and the tacos were so tasty and generous portions! I'll be back and next time to try their bao ice cream sandwich :)“
“Fantastic food and the portions are huge. My husband, who always finishes has leftovers. The sweet and sour sauce on the side is a great touch. And it’s the best chicken chow mein I’ve had in a long time. It’s my favourite dish. This was our first time ordering and it is now our go to Chinese restaurant.“
“Our favorite spot in Halifax. Amazing quality for the price, and the portions are always huge. It is so good every single time, you need to try it. The crispy fried chicken is the best, I recommend the appetizer plate of it vs the noodle bowl. The crispiness is just spot on and it comes with pickles on the side. The spicy tan tan ramen is my absolute favourite and I never stray.“
“A must-visit for northerners. The mutton soup, foam, cumin mutton stuffed membrane, and cold skin are all delicious. The dine-in meal is the best. The membrane is freshly made from the oven and the outer skin is crispy. The sausage noodles are also delicious. I will come here next time.“
“Food was delicious (definitely get skewers with a cold beer) but service was so slow. There is only 7 4-seaters and 1 private room. We went on a Sunday night and they were busy. They forgot our dishes and drinks but were very friendly. Their food is not the normal Cantonese/North American style Chinese food. We had pork trotter (foot), lamb skewers, spam skewers and grilled corn. We also ordered a beef noodle soup (big bowl of noodles), cold tendons (yummy), garlic greens and sweet and sour pork slices (basically battered pork slices in a vinegar + sugar coating).Very cozy inside, friendly service but servers might be forgetful (felt a bit chaotic)“
“Ordered dinner from this restaurant, everything in the city is closed for the snow storm, but they were open! Not only were they open, but the food was delivered in 22 minutes! Absolutely amazing. The portions are great, it tastes amazing, and the service was amazing as well. Such kind people.Thank you for the lovely experience, and the lovely dinner.(Photo was taken when I finished eating. Forgot to take a photo when the food arrived, oops.)“
“Have been ordering from Silver Dragon for years, they have an extensive menu and the food is very good. The Almond Gai Ding, Chicken Chow Mein and the Egg Rolls are my favorite and the Won Ton Soup is really good. Decent prices and good portions.“
“Since I have moved to Lakeside...I have taken out food there on a regular basis. The food is fantastic as well as a friendly staff...Their pricing is very competitive. Generous portions for the value. Will continue to purchase there and recommend everyone to try “
“The $10.50 lunch combo menu is good value for your money. Their egg rolls filling is made with bean paste which I like because too many places now use bean sprouts and call it a day. I recommend the General Tao Spicy Chicken. It was definitely more memorable than the other lunch special options. Sometimes they give out mail coupons for minimum order discounts.“
“We finally got a chance to check out this place!!The best authentic Chinese food in Halifax, by far, and great service, on top of that!!Another hidden gem that did not disappoint!!Lots of leftovers and looking forward to trying many more items on the menu!! ???“
“The food here is absolutely AMAZING. Their dine-in service is a little small/not as fancy as other restaurants but thats the only tiny flaw this place has. I got the dinner for 3 combo and a small won ton soup and it is SO much food. We paid around 60$ after tax and the leftovers are gonna feed me and my boyfriend another 2 times at least. The rice and egg rolls were soooo delicious, incredibly flavourful. We will be coming back very frequently!!“
“I definitely recommend checking them out for breakfast or lunch... Or just a coffee and a snack! They have affordable and tasty lunch deals (and decent portion size too). They have good coffee and baked goods in the morning which are the most affordable in Dartmouth. This is my new favourite spot in Downtown Dartmouth and recommend you check them out! ?“
“I enjoyed the food. The portion sizes could have been a little bit bigger for Chinese food. The chicken balls were really really good.Food came out quickly. It's a tiny restaurant with limited seating. While we were eating, a lot of people appeared to come in for takeout.“
“9 + Nine Chinese Restaurant in Halifax isn't just good, it's mind-blowingly amazing! It's like a flavor party where the clams in black bean sauce are the life of the party – perfectly cooked with a sauce that's the right kind of spicy. The crispy shrimp wontons? More like little pockets of heaven with a crunch that sings. And let's talk about that fried rice – it's like every grain is dancing in a rich, umami ballet. But the real showstopper? The sweet and sour chicken. It's so unreal, it'll make you question every sweet and sour chicken you've had before. Fresh ingredients, authentic tastes, and a vibe that's just as awesome as the food. If you're in Halifax and craving Chinese, 9 + Nine is the place to be. Trust me, your taste buds will thank you!“
“So so good! The best noodle soup and wonton soup I have ever had in Halifax. The noodle soup broth was absolutely delicious and I love the freshness the fresh cilantro adds to the brother. Great balance of salt/spice/umami. This never disappoints. I often find myself craving a bowl when in town, even after a meal ?The wonton is also extraordinary! Great to share as an appy and very filling if eating alone (14 wontons). If you like noodles this is a must in Halifax“
“Best Chinese Food I’ve had in a long time. Vegetables were cooked to perfection with just a little snap to them, rice was wonderful, chicken ball with not too much batter and yummy egg roll. So much I have some left over for tomorrow and at an awesome price.“
“I visited Fong Sing for the first time a few weeks ago. I had the chicken pho and a spring roll. The portion was huge and full of flavour. I loved the house hotsauce, but be warned: Siracha this is not. It definitely brings the heat! I overheard the table next to us warning their friend about how hot it was and advising them to skip it. Just something to keep in mind. The service was fast and friendly.“
“Great food! Easily the best ribs from a Chinese food place that I have ever had, and their sauces taste homemade! They're also open much later than other places. So glad this place was recommended to us!Vegetarian options: Lots of veggie options to order as single orders or sidesParking: A couple of spots available at storefront, but there's also a nearby side street.“
“This place looks good but can you please fix your phone line, as the number listed on your website is not in service. No other contact methods are available either. I tried calling to inquire if you’re open tomorrow, Thursday, as Google provides mixed answers on your opening time.“
“My girlfriend and I didn't think much of this little divey mall just off spring garden, however we gave Mala Loklok a try and we're blown away by the explosion of flavour within our mouths. 5/5 is simply not enough stars to to convey the service we received, the additional free addons and the warming environment in which we ate. Please, if you have any doubts about eating here, reconsider. This place blew away our expectations and we will be returning again as soon as we devour the leftovers in our fridge...thats how big the portions are, and we're not little people.“
“This amazing family have owned and ran this incredible little take out restaurant for over 40 (?) years. The food is always hot, fast fresh and tasty and the portions are huge. I easily get two meals or more out of my combo. The lady that manages the front counter takes orders and process payments is such a wonderful, friendly , helpful and kind person. I don't know how she keeps up the pace and with everything running so smoothly . I have been coming here for over ten years and would not go anywhere else. I highly recommend it.“
“Whether you're looking for something like yu xiang pork or orange beef and noodles, you will never be disappointed. The service is always top notch. My girlfriend and I have been regulars for years and it's impressive that everytime we order we are always amazed by the quality and care in each “
“Horrible customer service, probably the worst I have ever encountered to be honest. If you enjoy being belittled, being called a liar, and spending 3 hours on a takeout fiasco LOOK no further this is the place for you. Make sure you repeat what you are ordering SEVERAL times. Make sure they repeat it back to you SEVERAL times. If you order something and receive something you did not order, you may get them to agree to bring you what you did order, HOWEVER, you will be called a liar. You will be asked prove they are at fault for the mistake or they will hold your replacement food hostage in your parking lot. You may have to snatch the food you paid for out of the driver's hands. I am not joking. I am speaking from personal experience.“
“Fans Restaurant is our favorite restaurant for yam cha! Food is great and the staffs are friendly and always give us good aervice and always with smiles!! I recommend this place and give a five star if I were asked how many stars should I rate them!!♥️♥️♥️“
“When eating at a friend's restaurant, you feel like you are in your own hometown, with familiar tastes, friendly faces, and a variety of authentic delicacies. The large chunks of beef in the beef noodles are enjoyable. The short stew is my mother's specialty, and it is well worth it. Okay, thank you.“
“We have been stopping here for years, it has new owners and has had a facelift inside which looks good! The food is really good, they have good size combo plates, and gave an extra egg roll free for each combo plate. We will always eat here!“
“There are no surprises here. The food is always very good and so too are the generous portions. I have been either eating in or getting takeout and never had any problems or issues with the service either. Personally I think this is one of the top 2 places I go to for Chinese.“
“Ordered their orange chicken combo this afternoon. Must say great taste. The chicken and the orange sauce was just perfect. Great balance of sweetness.Though could be more generous with the sauce on the chicken and overall quantity could be better as compared to other similar Chinese restaurant combos. The container had seperarate compartments for rice and chicken and hence it works better if it is a gravy dish, but when thick sauce like orange chicken is packed, it's hard to mix the get the whole sauce out hence either placing the chicken right over the rice would do be nice.Definitely ordering more often. Good work guys.“
“We always order from Fung Wah at lease once a week. not sure if its because it is NYE but the food was not great. I ordered 3 things and only got 1 of them. Someone else got my garlic spareribs and I got a container of yellow sauce..Very disappointing..Good luck calling..Phone will not go thru... Guess I have to drive back!! 30 mins each way!! plus the 30 plus min wait..Not Happy!!“
“It was our first time eating there. It is a nice little setup. Few mins walk from my place. The service was great and very quick. Many options to choose from. We ordered Singapore noodles with Shrimp, Chicken fried rice and the Kung Pao chicken. It was delicious. Very well placed in the newly opened Brookline plaza. Ample parking spots.“
