I don't know what is in that magic sauce but it is divine. One time I forgot to upgrade the wedges to dragon fries (they didn't ask that time!) and I was sad. It is so worth the extra charge.Wild Leek's donair is the best vegan donair I've come across, and I've tried all the other vegan options around. The coconut cream pie is also amazing.Most importantly, they are well-prepared and don't run out of vegan ingredients during Halifax Burger Week! “Been a long time since I went to Gus' pub. As much as I hate the new covid regulations the staff there followed them to a T. The bands were great, especially Blood Print. It's amazing the talent they have for all being under 17 years old. They are gonna go far. I'm glad Gus' pub does all age shows now? kids need that“

“Definitely recommend checking out Cabin Coffee! The aesthetic inside is really unique and makes you feel like you're in a cozy cabin. I came early in the morning for the breakfast bun combo (sandwich and coffee for just under $9) The breakfast bun was really good - definitely made with more fresh ingredients than McDonald's or Tim's. Unfortunately didn't have time to sit inside, but would love to the next time I'm in Halifax because the inside is beautiful.“

I had a slight issue with an order one time, and on my next visit (Weeks Later) the gentleman remembered me and apologized for the last time, which was a surprise!Their pizza is pretty good and the Fixed Rate Pizzas they've been offering for a while are such a great value. (With tax they come out to just under $20 for a 4 topping XL, which feeds four) They're also pretty quick, and ordering online is nice and simple.Plus they frequently have promotions where you get an extra $10 gift card when you buy a $50 gift card, so it makes it an even better value!“

“We just spent dinner at this Boston Pizza in Bayer's Lake with my little Family to celebrate my birthday and it was the best experience we've had at a Boston Pizza yet! Our server Emma was absolutely incredible and one of the best waitresses we've had in a long while. Super attentive, kind and friendly to our kids, and was so nice when we mentioned it was my birthday. They even took off the cost of one of the chocolate explosions for us which really warmed my heart and made my day.The dinner was relatively affordable, it was kid friendly with all the dinner options and environment and noise levels, and our dinner came so fast I was shocked and thought it was for another table. We didn't have to wait in line at the front even though there was quite a few people who came in all at once. My husband and I left really happy with the whole overall experience and really wanted to make sure that the waitress knew how awesome she was.Highly highly recommend for anyone else :)“
