“This is the most authentic sushi restaurant in Halifax. There are many varieties of sushi. The sashimi ingredients are very fresh. The sushi chef's skills are very good. Their stir-fries are also very unique. The chef is very good. The tempura shrimp is better than other sushi restaurants. They are all large, and the frying technique is very good. The color is golden and the taste is very good. The two waitresses are very young and beautiful, and the service is super great. The manager is very friendly and the service is very attentive. This store has superb cooking skills and excellent service. Finally, I would strongly recommend this store.“
“First, I'm really sad this place moved from walking distance from my home (Cole Harbour) to Portland, as it was my go to after surfing! Lol A++ I've tried almost everything on the many except for the full fish to share. Everything on the menu is my favourite lol; dumplings, burger, chicken burger, not sure if they still have the fish tacos or pakoras, but those were great too! I was sad to see the taco salad off the menu as it was so unique with the buttermilk ranch dressing & veggies of choice. No matter what they have on the menu, I always love! I think the only thing I didn't care for was pizza fries but I think it's a winner for most. The best fries (as they change up the theme) were shawarma fries so far! Keep it up guys! You're killing it!“

“This place is a must try! It is by far one of the best restaurants in Halifax. The location itself is a bit rundown but it’s cleaned up well and the atmosphere altogether is amazing. Super casual and low-lit, perfect for a fun and relaxing experience. Overall very enjoyable. Especially the food. Everything I ate was top tier, you can really tell the chefs are very skilled. No appetizer/entree was overshadowed, each dish itself was its own delicious experience. Absolutely phenomenal, I couldn’t have been more pleased or impressed. Even the service was superb, all food and drinks came out quickly but with enough time between everything to actually enjoy your meal. 100% worth your time and money.Dietary restrictions: Many gluten-free options. I find a lot of restaurants don’t have many good celiac friendly options, most of the time the food is mediocre. Yet, here I truly felt the experience and almost half the menu is gluten-free.“

“The ramen is very good. Two things though - veggie ramen should really come with tofu. I also did not find the mild spice mild so in the future would just say no spice.Food aside, I’ve ordered takeout here multiple times now and the service is always off. If you’re a few min later than expected you get an overly aggressive call asking if you’re still coming. One time I came to pick up my food and it was still 30 min before close on a Sat night. I had gotten one of those calls, and after I left with my food he closed up shop 20 min early which I thought was really odd for a Sat night.“
“Since moving to Halifax from Toronto, being a foodie, its been a challenge finding good places to eat. To be honest, there aren't many authentic Chinese restaurants in HRM. Lets just say I have been to all of them and let me tell you, Red Asian Fusion is the best by far. Don't let the word Fusion fool you, this is the real deal. Authentic Yummy Chinese food and I dare say the best I have had so far. Eating out especially in Nova Scotia is not cheap, but I will pay good money for great food and generous portions. Three different noodle bowls (korean beef, teriyaki chicken, and lemongrass chicken) , the pulled pork banh mi, the thai peanut wrap, chicken pho, and pho poutine and everything was simply delicious! Hours later, everyone was still talking about how good supper was. Fresh and flavourful. Can't wait to order again!“
