Celtic Corner Public House is a nice place to hang out with friends for dinner, with great service and a perfect atmosphere. The pub is a local watering hole, recommended for a drink and good time. The patio is excellent, with a surprisingly clear view of the harbour. The food was good, with some dishes like the spicy shrimp being too sweet and heavy. The Mexican burger lacked flavor. The cleanliness of the place was an issue, with dirty tables and wet glasses. The steak boxty is recommended if you are hungry. The munchie platter, mac n cheese balls and the soft pretzel with mustard were delicious. The amount of food in the munchie platter was fantastic for the price, with everything crispy and not too greasy. The mac n cheese balls were very tasty as well, rich and creamy with a crispy coating and a flavourful marinara sauce. The service was very quick and friendly, and the server was great. The limited drinks menu includes beer and cyder, listed on a handwritten wall menu, and an excellent pint of Guinness.
