Ok, I suppose that Kismet was one of the Halifax's pearls...
But, from person who was there for the first time... I don't know.... The desert was terribly...cheap 😒 Sorry, guys, that's true. I'm not complaining, just don't serve the desert if you don't know how to do that.

Thought, cocktails were extremely good!!💫💫💫 Bartender was nice and service was awesome!🌟 Thanks for that!💕

One more thing... interior... Cheap old white plastic siding on the walls? seriously?... Please... It's 2025 now!
Btw, your exterior looks so good! Just paint the walls and ceiling inside, the same color, make the space more cozy and fresh.

“We had excellent service on Canada Day 2024 with our friendly waitress Pal. She was very helpful and kept checking on our party of 12 ages from 3 to 80, to make sure everyone had what they wanted. She put treats on the Robot and had the children go get their treats off the tray on it, which was a highlight for them. We could tell she enjoys waitressing because she does it to perfection. The food was delicious and plated appetizingly, too!“

“Today was a Good Day. I am a member of Empowered Woman Blossom ( Under the Umbrella of Hope Blooms). Today we were out for our ladies brunch, we had reservations for the Driftwood next door, but we told there was no reservation for 10 ( we had the confirmation email.) with them, very rudely. Enough of that.
Next Door was Edna’s, so we had 10 senior ladies looking for a place near by. A lovely lady Cora from Edna’s, welcomed us in with open arms. The Food was delicious, beautifully plated and flavors , beyond words. It was a warm welcoming atmosphere, the staff were great and Cora, what a beautiful person. So somethings are meant to happen,

“RFM is fabulous! I absolutely love the vegan eggs benny breakfast.😋 The burgers are delicious too. in fact, everything is delicious. The mac n cheese, butter ckn, the cookies, the deserts, the cheeses and dips... all awesome. One of my fave places in Halifax. Right at the top of the list. 5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟!“

“What an amazing night! The small plates are thoughtfully executed and bursting with flavour and texture. Everything we had was 10/10.

The themed cocktail menu is unique and creative and they were well balanced and complex.

The wine list, we learned is curated with wines that are exclusive to the restaurant and imported by their sommelier. Bonus, we were there on a Wednesday and all bottles were $20 off. We had never had a wine from Czech Republic before!

“Beautiful restaurant in an excellent location. The staff and very nice and happy to have any answers that you may have. It is a fancier restaurant (maybe dress up a bit) but isn’t pretentious. Our food came quickly, the drinks were very good (paid for 2 because it was so good) and we would definitely come back. Great place for a birthday, anniversary or special celebration.“

“My new favorite sushi place in the city , a little hidden view from the street you come down some stairs and just order everything at the counter and sit after ( aka the servers wont take your order at the table but they do deliver the food at your table ) you pay upfront , it’s practical unless you have free room for desert.

We sat and the ambiance is like manga style with a lot a books in Japanese around us , dont get fooled by the decoration because the food is AMAZING trust me I have been to many fancy Japanese restaurants and this one is just as delicious ! We ordered a little bit of everything my personal opinion on the hot sushis ( smoke salmon ) not my cup of tea but my date loved it . And the seaweed salad very tasty, we almost got back again to the restaurant 2 days later because we loved it so much .

Salvatore's had excellent communication, the timing was great, they were easy to coordinate with and get ahold of, and most importantly the food was excellent and fresh when it arrived. They even picked up the big salad bowls from our venue the next day -- thank you! Really appreciate the great experience and highly recommend!“

“There is a plentiful and delicious menu here for your average vegetarian! The service is great. Our server was pleasant and attentive.

We chose the patio, as it was a mild evening. There are higher stools and comfortable cushioned lower chairs to choose from. The music was a selection of 70's rock & folk, and was perhaps a bit on the loud side.

There is a broad selection of house made juices and smoothies, as well as some wines, beers, and soft drinks.

My husband's portion of tofu steaks were smaller than expected, but delicious.

The green poutine was based in hand-cut cubed hashbrowns rather than fries. It was brimming with veggies, including a delightfully crisped kale, 2 kinds of cabbage, three kinds of onions, and mushrooms; with a black-pepper forward mushroom gravy, and nutritional yeast as the vegan option (alternative to their cheese option).

Dessert options are limited to a variety of cookies.

Having a lot of food sensitivities and allergies, it's very hard, if not impossible, to find a place where I can safely eat anything other than plain fries, so there wasn't really anything on their menu that I could eat without literally picking through, but the same is true for any restaurant I've tried.

Overall, it's a worthwhile place to try for anyone interested in vegetarian food!“

“This was actually my first time having Ramen that didn't come out of a package from the supermarket and it was amazing. The pork was so tender and a little sweet. The broth was incredible. We had the crispy chicken to start and I loved the pickled daikon so much they let me buy a container of it. Our waitress (I am sure I'm not spelling her name right but I think it was Shengshen) was so kind, cheerful and pleasant. I cannot wait to go back.“

Very glad we tried it though! Our server was very knowledgeable and made recommendations based on flavour profiles which you don't see often. Everything was priced similar to other bars but the ingredients were clearly high quality. We had the beet salad, (bright, fresh, zesty), lamb burger, (hearty, rich, flavourful), and salmon (crispy, light, balanced). I'd definitely come back.“

I have tried gam ja tang (spicy pork ribs soup) and soon dubu jjigae (spicey tofuand seafood soup), and bibimbab. Those are all satisfactory tasty and very reasonable prices.“
