“Great food and incredibly nice staff!”

“There are lots of good things to say about Dayan. The place is clean, the owner is super friendly, and the portion sizes are 1/3 larger for the price than we've gotten at any sushi place in Halifax or the Valley. On the down side, we had 5 different rolls between us, all spicy, and unfortunately the sauce was so heavy handed that the only taste differentiation was the fact that some had teriyaki sauce and some didn’t. The rolls were also a bit hard to eat as they fell apart when picked up. Fresh food and good value, but a little more variety in flavour would be appreciated.”

“I already left a google review a few weeks back, and since I couldn’t leave another - I had to track down your Facebook page! I am THE pickiest pizza eater I know. Half acre cafe 100% gets my stamp of approval. They are hands down the best pizza place in the valley. Tried the wings tonight too, and they were PERFECT! (Dasher sucked, our food was cold - but it was still better cold than any hot pizza I’ve had around here in years!)”

The New Minas Location is the worst I've ever been too, all locations should take a lead from the Kentville drive thru location.”

“My family and I love this restaurant we are vegan and they provide lots of amazing options, its all delicious, nutritious and filling, we would recommend trying all of the items with the V ,the vegetable samosas and the pakoras are a must have ! “The old lobster pound has been updated with a restaurant. The floor had a consider slope to it. We had to sit sideways on our chairs to avoid sliding off. The lobster roll is one of the best around. The onion rings were very good and plentiful. The scallops were great. The cold salads were a bit of a letdown. I am fairly certain they were from a bucket at a grocery store. They were not homemade like in the past.”

“Came here this past weekend with my wife and it was great!

My wife got a meal from their all day breakfast and I ordered the clams and chips. We were both very satisfied with the taste of our food, but I would have liked to have a bit more clams to go with my fries.

Our waitress was great and very kind.

We will absolutely be coming back!”

The service was excellent. My wife had a chai latte (I tried it - it was delicious). I had drip coffee. She had a macaroon. I had a chocolate dipped oatcake. One of the better outcakes I've had.

There is a fair amount of seating inside and a few chairs/tables outside.

Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.

“Excellent food, superb service, and a great atmosphere. Main floor is good for a nice, quiet chat, while upstairs is a very cozy pub with music and the feel of a small Irish pub.

“I like to judge a pizza partially by the no man's land between the cheese and the crust, valley Pizza puts ingredients right up to the crust, and passes my test with flying colors. The pizzas are well Flavored and absolutely delicious!
