“Fantastic restaurant. We came for lunch and got the lunch trio (half chicken panini, soup with option to upgrade to seafood chowder for $5, and garden salad). Definitely would recommend this for lunch to anyone. The portions were generous. The salad was great and their croutons must have been homemade, and this was actually the most boring part of the meal. The seafood chowder was delicious, had big chunks of lobster, scallops, and shrimp, and had a wonderful presentation, where the mussels with the shells were lain on top the chowder. The only negative thing I can say is that I wish there was a small bowl where I could have deposited the mussel shells, but after working on the food enough, there was enough room on the plate. The chicken panini was flavorful and delicious. We are definitely coming back here and would recommend the place to anyone. Just remember to bring cash because they don't accept credit card! Even if you forget, there's several banks/ATMs within short walking distance.Dietary restrictions: If you have a specific seafood allergy but still want their seafood chowder, tell your server because they add the seafood ingredients separately. My friend had a mussel allergy and they were able to prepare it without mussels easily!“

“Always loved Kay's. When I was a child, our grading day gift was treat money to go to Kay's for lunch. It was a big deal - had fries, sat on a stool & felt like a big shot. Kay & the staff always talked to us like we were important customers. One of my special memories.“

“It was a nice experience but was very sad that most of the menu was off limits to me because the deep fryer is also used for the shellfish on the menu and I have an allergy. Most restaurants do not fry their shellfish with their other items. Staff was friendly and service was great, but really wish I could have ordered what I would have liked to instead of being so limited.“
