Located within the Nova Hotel in Yellowknife, Canada, Quarry Restaurant promises an upscale dining experience in the heart of the city. However, my recent visit left much to be desired.Upon arrival at 7pm for a dinner reservation, my companion and I were seated promptly, but our excitement quickly waned as the minutes stretched into an hour and twenty minutes before our food arrived at 8:20pm. Restaurant located within the Chateau Nova Hotel.The world's most honest beef sandwich was on sale, and the mango salad was the most delicious. It felt quite fresh.All servers are friendly, but the menu does not appear until quite a while after ordering, so it would be a good idea to visit with plenty of time to spare.

Had dinner on a Monday. Ordered the Chateau Nova Burger with a poutine. The burger was very greasy and was made with 2 store bought frozen patties. I would've preferred one homemade... As for the poutine, it's gravy was weird with a strange flavour I can't put my finger on. The texture was slightly off too. Quite disappointing for a restaurant with a chic atmosphere.
