“Located in a small and cozy space. I love the mix of real and fake plants that give you a earthy warm welcome. The food was so flavorful and fresh. Some set backs though, we were brought food we didn’t order and we’re charged for it. They reimbursed the mistake. Informed the server of a food allergy and was assured that the food was non seafood/fish prepared. When we received the food there were shrimp shells in the soup, not expected from us or the server and no it was not part of the meal. The food was removed immediately. Was not offered to have it remade or to have something else in its place but it was on the bill at check out. Had to address the mistakes and they quickly took care of it. The restroom is a shared gender, but was not recently cleaned and there were no toilet seat covers. Shoe prints on the toilet seat could of been prevented. Overall everything was amazing and will definitely give them another chance and recommend to others.“
“I came here because I saw an instagram foodie video and have driven by it a few times so finally stopped to try it with my family! We are Vietnamese and eat tons of Vietnamese food, and I will say that the pho itself was one of the most rich and flavorful broths I've ever had. I was most excited for the thick noodles and they were delicious. We also had a vermicelli bowl and Chinese sausage rice. It was all very good. The spring rolls were pretty small and didn't have anything special. The staff were all very kind and upbeat!! The only downside to this place is the price. The cheapest bowl of pho with nothing in it is $15 (I think, I may be wrong,) but everything here was the most expensive pho place I've been to yet. Also, the military discount is only for a couple hours a couple days a week. I know it's nice to offer the military discount in general, but seems kind of pointless. I do want to come back to try their specialty coffees, but I think if I was craving Vietnamese I'd still go to a cheaper place with equal quality. Still delicious though!“
“If you happen to be sick of life, try eating here and give yourself a taste of why life is worth living. The flavors of the chow mein would keep you coming back for more. The noodle broth would vitalize anyone on a binge break from stuff they sell on the Las Vegas strip and downtown to get your HP bar and mana back up. ?“
“Came here again and brought our little guy with use he loved the shrimp tempura. We ordered new rolls like the Mang in black it was really good. Ordered the jalapeños poppers again because they are that good.Our server Areeya was awesome!……………………..I might be excited to find a good sushi spot so close to home. I’ve only my been here a few days and I’m loving the black rice sushiFrom this place. Service was friendly and fast.On Tuesday bring your senior parent or friend for a 10% discount.It’s not the best looking place but who cares when food is good. Plenty of parking.“
“Food was really good, but service was lacking big time. Waitress had no other staff, but missed basics like writing down the order. We were rushed when ordering, and our ramen was missing the add-ons we requested. If you order here, just order takeout - the food will at least be good and likely more accurate.“
“Shaken beef is really good. Note, the rice looks like it’s tossed in soy sauce so if you want plain white rice, you’ll need to let them know in advance. Shared a veggie pho w beef broth. It was one of the best I’ve had - fresh and great variety of veggies - bok choy, cabbage, carrots, broccoli and tofu.“
“As a Chinese Jamaican, I can without hesitation give this restaurant a thumbs up. The food was freshly made, deliciously seasoned and just amazing. I got the sweet n sour pork, the Shanghai noodles and chicken/ shrimp veggies. Everything was scrumptious . I would highly recommend.“
“This is still my favorite Asian restaurant in Henderson, NV. I've eaten there (and had food delivered to me from Uni) for two decades, and the food and service do not disappoint to this day. I brought a friend for lunch today, and she said, "I'm coming back here, for sure." The cooks are so talented at Uni. The food is fresh and yummy, with more than generous portions.(Just one complaint: please fix the soda machine, guys!) Service is fast, and courteous. The decor is plain but clean, feels spacious and private, with huge, comfy booths and tables. Several other local Asian restaurants I've eaten at recently - former favorites - have disappointingly gone downhill. I've eaten at four others nearby in the past few months, and been shocked at how poor their food has become. Uni has retained its quality over the years, for which I am very grateful. I love Chinese food, so at least Uni Express is one place I can get my "fix."“
“There are so many things that I like about Penn's Thai House. The food is delicious, the service is excellent and the prices are extremely reasonable. That's the broad overview so I'll drill down a bit. Last night, I went to the movies with my daughter and the movie didn't end until 8:30. We drove straight over to the restaurant after, hoping the'd be willing to take a to-go order 15 minutes before closing. They asked us if we would prefer to dine in. I said we would but we didn't want to keep them. They said they'd seat guests right up until closing time. We were delighted. We have been turned away from other Thai restaurants (Archi's) half an hour before closing and they refused to even take a to-go order so the invitation to dine in so late in their day was much appreciated. I've now eaten there twice and each time the food has been fresh, well prepared and delicious. The person serving us has been friendly and helpful and the fact that their prices are very reasonable and they are located near where we go to the movies frequently makes this a solid win for us. Great spot, highly recommend!“
