Guys, this is a 20+ year tale of going to places recommended by friends but to no avail, the steak was medium rare or pretty close to rare in all of these years. In Illinois and then out here, same thing. She was so happy, you have no idea!!! Her literal words last night (02/14/24), "I think this is the best steak I've had from any restaurant!" “Wahoo's has been a place I've enjoyed since the late 90's when I discovered them while vacationing in Huntington Beach, CA. I was thrilled when they opened here in LV. I've been to most the locations: boca park, s rainbow & 215, s eastern, horizon ridge henderson (amazing panoramic valley view from the bar side here!) and my most frequented location, next to Palm's casino since 2020.As of July 2023 , I'll never go to Wahoo's on W Flamingo again. The specifics of why are detailed on their individual Yelp profile. Apparently Wahoo's regional manager Todd quit this year which makes all other locations questionable bc from what I gathered, now that he's gone, quality and freshness has taken a dive and I've noticed the prices are still going up and up. However, IF I EVER GO TO a Wahoos again, it'll be to enjoy the panoramic view of the Vegas Valley, from the bar side at the Horizon Ridge, Henderson location.“

I have had a rude & disrespectful bartender in the past & service is usually good but the other night I had an AWESOME bartender named Buddha. It took him a few minutes to come over to me as he was busy plus I sat in the back of the bar, in a corner closer to the sports book area. He checked on me several times & was very attentive. He may have been a "filler bartender" who covers breaks or his shift had ended while I was there. I LOVED his awesome service but once I cashed out two tickets that were each a little over $100's it was time to get outta there & head home before I gave them their money back....lolI just had to update my review just to give a shout out to Buddha for his exceptional service. I was so hungry when I went there; after I had tried Hammer’s (which was not open the hours they advertised) And Putter’s ; which also did not have any kitchen staff or food service. I had even gone down to the Pass and it’s restaurants were closed. It was between midnight and one am.Christopher Lee, after discovering that his cook had left ; very kindly offered to make me a chicken sandwich and fries. It was delicious !The atmosphere and music are also very enjoyable and comfortable. And, the machines pay well. I hit 3 7 out of 7’s on the same machine; within 45 minutes !They also have billiards.All around a really fun place for food, drinks, gambling, shooting pool; and enjoying great music.“
“This is the first time I've been to a Red dragon, it's basically a Dotty's (owned by them too) only differences I could call out are drink selection and this Red Dragon has a pool table and a ping pong table which in my opinion makes it the clear choice over Dotty's. If it’s a busy night it might be difficult to get to the restroom. Definitely doable but not easy. If it’s slow then it’s fine. There’s a ramp out front to get inside. There’s plenty of handicap parking in the parking garage down the street.“

This one is nearest to my house and exactly what I needed tonight - mellow atmosphere, good drinks, tasty snack, and a great bartender. (Thanks again, Charlie. You're awesome.) Bonus points for the family-friendly dining room. This is the first PT's I've been to that has one and I'm stoked to know I can get their perfect pretzel bites even if my kids are with me, haha. “When I first moved back to Vegas being born and raised here I started to go back to my old hangouts. This bar sits on the end of the street where my house is so I can walk here but kept going to the old spots. After bad experiences at some, I decided to give it a try one day and have never been disappointed. Love, love, love the bartenders Jackie and Deb! Both of them have my favorite drink in front of me almost immediately and I'm not even a regular yet! They treat everyone like you are an old friend, even the rude people. I was really upset when Lisa left because she was amazing also only knowing her for a few months before she left but Alicia has been an amazing replacement. I almost left when Lisa left but Alicia is equally as great as she was! There is never an issue with the food-the pretzel bites are the best in town for me! Even coming in frequently the last maybe 4 months, I understand how comps work. You have to play to get them. It's not the bartender or even GM that can give out the comps like the old Vegas comps. It's not a Mom and Pop bar, it's a chain and corporation. Going into the station casinos after I came back, comping was the same. You have to play and not a nickel at a time to get comped. I don't gamble like others so I understand I am not getting the same comps as people who spend more. It's logical so know that going in and maybe you won't write the bad review...I would come to this PT's over all of them in the city not just because of the staff but it's clean, not smoky and they have the Knights games on blast! If no Raiders or Knights games are in, ask them for your favorite music and they'll put it on! Can't wait to see my favorite bartenders and GM Jackie, Deb and Alicia this weekend!“
