“We love Twisted Fork for lunch. The food is excellent and never disappoints. Today I enjoyed the salad special -- blackened prawns, blackberries, strawberries, goat cheese, greens, red onion, house-made corn bread croutons, honey-mustard viniagrette. So good with sauvignon blanc! Husband had the parmesan turkey melt and the New England Clam Chowder -- one of the best chowders we've found in Reno (CT transplants). Sit in the bar and engage with Ashley. She's the best bartender/server we've met in Reno.“
“Even though I’ve been a life long Reno/Sparks native, I’ve never been to Bricks and this last weekend we went. WOW!!! What a great restaurant. Service was top notch and the food spectacular. I really can’t believe I’ve missed out for all these years. I had the filet and it was done beautifully.“
“Smith and River was a very pleasant surprise. The information I found online did not do this place justice. I took my date here and expected a very simple place with a somewhat noisy atmosphere. I was proven wrong and in the most wonderful of ways. To start: Matthew, our server, was an amazing person to have been able to interact with. He was hilarious, he was passionate, he knew what he was talking about in every conversation, and was overall a treat. Secondly, the food was amazing. Up until this night, I have never tried scallops. After inquiring about the catch of the day, I was pleasantly surprised and extremely satisfied with how delicious they were. Finally, the environment was amazing. It felt very private and personal with my date and I couldn't have enjoyed it more.Cheers to this place.“

“We stopped in for a quick bite and a beer and had a great time! This brewery is in a great location on the outskirts of midtown with a small lot for parking. The food was great too, the burger was HUGE. The buzzed bee honey ale was a great lighter beer. Even on a Tuesday evening the place was quite full and lovely! My only gripe was that twice in the same meal our server forgot about two separate beer orders - otherwise service was good, and the food came out fast!“
“Excellent food for reasonable prices! Love the four course option (the only option) and this is the type of place you could come once a month for dinner with your “other” or a group of friends. Service is good and chef is super friendly, visiting with guests as time allows. Each course was delicious (salad, soup, entree, dessert) and there’s no way to leave there and not be full.“
“I went here with coworkers for a business lunch. Nice vibe when walking in, and you seat yourself. We got a couple of tables in the corner and pushed them together for our group of 9. Service was friendly and quick and the food was great. We ordered mozzarella sticks and potstickers for apps, and both were delicious. I ordered the Ciabatta Melt with Tomato Bisque which was very good. Nice portion sizes as well.“

“We love coming to this restaurant for lunch. Been here several times. Great menu great food never a problem Dinner was a completely different experience by a waitress that needs to learn MORE etiquette and experience. Service from our waitress was absolutely horrible. Husband ordered the salmon and received cod -order came out completely wrong. He doesn't even like cod. Plus Cod was cold, old and tasteless. He ate 1 small piece and left the rest. Very disappointed. We were credited $4 I asked for my salad dressing on the side -that didn't happen. I didn't say anything I just didn't eat it. It was drenched. We barely finished eating- she gave us the bill-stood by our table and wanted payment now. We both felt like we were being rushed. I told her to give me a few minutes but she waited at our table side and handed me the machine to put my card in which I didn't even have out yet. I set my coffee down to get out my cc because She wanted payment now so she didn't have to return back to our table. This waitress needs more training! ** Owner has responded“
“Stopped by this place after a beautiful and highly recommended drive from Eugene Oregon to Reno Nevada.What a find! Laid back cool vibe to start with. Sat at the bar...Great selection of Bourbons and Tequilas by the way.Turns out the bar tender that night was the owner Brent. In the short time I was there it became apparent that Brent is extremely passionate about every aspect of this restaurant. Brent knows his bourbons and tequilas, and seems to be a tequila connoisseur.I had the Elk Chop which resembled a Tomahawk Steak. Cooked to perfection, served with asparagus and as a bonus came with a liberal shot of bourbon neat.This will be a regular stop between Oregon and Nevada in the future.I highly recommend if ever in the Reno Area.“

“Had our annual work retreat activity here. The staff were friendly and helpful. We played bocce as one of team building activities. Had tons of fun and the staff helped with providing us the rules to the game. The food was okay but nothing spectacular. The sliders were a bit dry. Come for games and drinks but not the food.“

I only came for the bottomless mimosas.Now you'd think it be standard for them to make the mimosas and either bring them out in a pitcher or single glass right? Nahhh, here you get your personal sized bottle of champs, with a serving tray of food colori... I mean juice (They let you pick your flavor) then you can pour to your hearts desire. (Just a drop for color in my case, IYKYK)This was no watered down brunch, this was full throttle, cancel all plans for the afternoon, fling off your heels, and put up your hair type of brunch. I salute them for maintaining my buzz while still maintaining a high level vibe of sophistication and class.I can proudly say that no bushes or stretches of pavement were harmed at the end of this brunch.Leaving brunch after bottomless mimosas with your wits and dignity still intact AND no men left behind is a first, but this place really did the impossible. Maybe it was the 7lb chicken sandwich I ate before the third round, but I would definitely recommend for a fun filled dining experience.“
“Everything about dining at LuLou's fantastic. Their customer service is outstanding from the first phone call to set a reservation, their special touches with the customized menu is really sweet. The meal is beyond fantastic. Everything we had absolutely blew us away. The menu is fantastic and has a ton of diverse options. I have been eyeing the grilled octopus (thanks other yelpers for the photos) and finally got to try it and it was FANTASTIC. My Husband has tried octopus a half dozen other times and has never liked it, but he LOVED this one. Every dish had unexpected little pops of flavor that just took the dish to a whole other level. The ambiance is really nice, although a bit noisy when the place is full. I love the open kitchen concept to be able to peek in. We'll be back for the next special occasion dinner.“
