“PHO 999 is simply amazing! One of the things that stands out every time we visit is just how incredibly efficient the entire restaurant is.

As soon as you open the door, someone is already waiting to greet you. You simply let them know how many people are in your party, and you're seated almost immediately. Water arrives at the table as soon as you sit down, and within seconds, someone is there asking if you're ready to order.

The efficiency of this place is seriously impressive. If you already know what you want, you can easily be seated, enjoy a great bowl of pho, and be back out the door in about 20 minutes. Despite how fast everything moves, we've never felt rushed—the service is simply that organized and attentive.

We're definitely Asian-food seekers. We travel quite a bit, and wherever we go, we somehow always end up searching for great Asian food. Pho in particular has become something of a specialty for us, so we've eaten it at a lot of different places.

PHO 999 continues to be one of those places we genuinely look forward to visiting. Great pho, incredibly fast and attentive service, and an operation that runs like clockwork. It's easy to see why we keep coming back!“

“I believe that golden dragon offers great tasting Vietnamese food and more Vietnamese dishes in the Reno-Sparks area. We love coming here and getting their bahn mi, different selections of spring rolls (my favorite is the Bo Bia which has peanuts), noodle soups and bahn xeo (takes time to make). “I only been there twice with my hubby and family. I had several of there dishes and they were all amazing. My favorite appetizer is the octopus balls. Love the chicken pho soup and the teriyaki bento box was great too. Very inviting Cozy atmosphere. Services and staff are great too. We were fortunate to have Jacob both times as our server and he was amazing. 10 out of 10 restaurant.“

“775 Times Reno had shared a post on FB about this place and I knew I had to try it. I got the rare beef pho and lemon grass chicken. Both were absolutely fantastic! Many options to make the dishes more flavorfull and spicier as well. Great portion size for the price as well! Very happy this spot is right down the road from my work. “Best Vietnamese restaurant in Reno. We ate here for the first time last night and can’t wait to go back. The two waitresses were so lovely and helpful. The food here taste like real Vietnamese food. The Cha Gio was the best tasting we have had since moving here 8 months ago. . We also had delicious Singapore noodles and a hot pot. We will go back often. Only thing we would wish to change is that we would love to see a bahn mi sandwich served here. I am sure it would be delicious. We have not had a good one since we moved here.“

“The wor wonton soup is one of the best I’ve had. I can’t stop ordering it. To start, the broth is insane, perfectly rich and seasoned. And then you add the dumplings (I choose fried vs steamed usually), the variety of veggies, and all the garnishes. It’s a perfect dish. No notes.

“In terms of bargain or bang for the bucks, HK Diner is one of the best in town, if not the best. The chefs aren't Michelin chefs, but they cook the food super well. Delicious isn't enough to describe the pleasant taste, and I don't have to pay an arm or a leg to satisfy my tummy. Every time I visit Reno, I always make at least one stop at HK Diner for lunch or dinner. Another plus, HK Diner opens very late, till 2:00 or 3:00am, to accommodate a night owl like me.“
