“I have been recommending C’s Mad Batter Cakery to my clients for YEARS! The owners are the sweetest and all of their treats and delicious and beautiful. Today one of my clients showed up and stressed with the chaos that is life, she completely forgot to pick up a cake for her cake smash session. Ensue momentary panic— until she called C’s, explained the situation, and they happily let her know what flavors and colors they had available. Order placed— we snapped our portrait shots first— and about 25 minutes later the cake arrived and we had plenty of time behavior our cake smash portion of the session even began! The cake was beautiful, baby chowed down on it, pictures came out great, and the day was saved with almost no stress at all. It’s the care put into every interaction and every cake that keeps me recommending this amazing small business time and time again. The food was great, I opted for the linguine scampi and it did not disappoint. The shrimp were cooked to perfection as well as all our other dishes, meatballs, and pastas! Our server Bryant was a total gem!! His service was exceptional!! Will be coming back to this restaurant for sure and recommending our friends as well! After trying to get a table the last two Friday's unsuccessfully. We were the first ones to be seated and we were told it was a hour or more wait. I guess u have to have a reservation to get in any more. No more walk-ins.”

“Our server Oscar was amazing. We had the private dining room in the back and were celebrating my wife's birthday, 8 adults, 2 children (3 an 1-1/2 years old). The private dining rooms look like it could hold 20 people. Fireplace, two TV's,(which we did ask to put on a baseball game with no volume, and they did) and right outside the door is a private single use restroom for all restaurant guests. Appetizers were oysters, calamari, stuffed crab mushrooms, escargot. Food was great, our group varied from petrole sole, ribeye, short rib, rack of lamb, prime rib, ny choice, and steak diane. Desserts were cheesecake, bread pudding, and creme brule. Drinks were Dragon Paloma(many), Frank Family Wine 455, old fashions, and mint expressor martini(dessert), and makers and coke. The manager was very accommodating, and she checked on us frequently. The pre dinner drinks in the bar were excellent as well. Spent about 3-1/2 hours for appetizers, dinner, and desserts. Did not feel rushed at all. All the staff from hostess, bartender, manager, server, all polite, all professional, and accommodating. Recommend highly. Will be going again.”

Today I ordered online and when I went to pick up they stated they didn't have my order. I showed them my receipt on my phone and they got their manager. She came out and apologized for the mistake and made my order herself. She also upgraded one of my drinks to the large size for the mistake/wait. Excellent customer service!”

I ultimately have not been able to apply a reward for a free pizza as of yet. I could see that it is a well loved restaurant - calm atmosphere, families and individuals were seated at booths and tables, and there were even a few chairs for those they may have had to wait for their take-out order. Steady business on a Saturday mid-morning. The tucked away location made this hidden gem even more enticing.

Loved the flavors. Homemade corn tortillas... yes, please! I ordered the huevos con chorizo, rice, beans, and a side of DELICIOUS salsa. 😋

“I live near Krispy Kreme, so I visit this location often. Just like every other place around they have a short staff and it is a lasting result of covid. So many "fast food" places around here are staffed with 2 people. These sort of companies need, i assume, 6-8 employees. Yes, KK are sometimes out of an item, and sometimes close early and opens late. But every single food place around here still has to close up early, or open late, because they dont have the staff. I have had some disappointment with a place not being opened. But when they are opened and have a limited staff they really pull together. Krispy Kreem, even being a chain, has being going through this. I do not work for Krispy Kreeme and I don't know anyone there. So this is just my experience today. I arrived at Krispy Kreme early this morning and ordered a dozen glazed, and a dozen assorted. I pulled up to the window and asked about the leprechaun donuts. I asked if they were available. With my donuts already in their boxes he changed my order for me. The manager, England, was the one at the window. I saw one other person near him, and one more in there, and ai am pretty sure that was it. My morning wasn't going the best, but he made my day and made smile. I have been there a dozen or more times. Always happy, I would leave many reviews all positive.”

This is one of the best taquerias in the area, everyone that works there is amazing and I am treated like family each time I go. I highly reccomend the tacos, burritos, nachos and Quesadillas.

They do get pretty packed around 12pm lunch time so try to get there a bit earlier or after if you can.”
