“I’ve been there twice in 24 hours. Last night dinner was soup and salad which was really good and fresh. Today’s lunch was patty melt and sweet potato fries, chicken corn soup, chicken chili soup, and Santa Fe salad. All delicious!! The sweet potato fries were crispy to the last bite. Service was great both times. Specially Christin was very nice, accommodating above and beyond what I expected. I would go there again for sure. ? ?”

“Stopped in here twice on a recent trip to Reno. Had the Blackened Salmon for dinner then had the Salmon Benedict the next morning and the chef prepared food was excellent. Very cozy atmosphere where the staff is more than happy to socialize with you. This is a very nicely maintained property and I had the pleasure of touring the entire business. A lovely lady guided me around and showed me the special event rooms and a spacious courtyard with a pool in the back. There is a huge lounge/party room that is in a secure area that can only be accessed through the bar area by the staff. Special thanks to Alora and especially Roxy for keeping me company and giving me the guided tour around...”

“For extremely casual, I live Denny's. I love their Super Bird. So much about simple American dishes. However, they have made an unfortunate decision. Do not expect a lot of food and they have become quite expensive compared to what is offered. For example: You will need 2 orders of fries to equal one. Some online services charge $18 to $21 for a regular sandwich.

Today we shared a 1 piece fried catfish with sides of potato salad and red beans n rice. comes with a piece of cornbread, house made pickles, tartar sauce, fresh lemon. You can get more than 1 piece, but it's so big it's all we can eat sharing it lol Staff has always been the greatest. Restaurant is always clean. Thank you for amazing fried catfish and sides. It's worth the hour round trip for it. Keep doing what you do. Serving great fresh food at a reasonable price. Also the fried okra is delicious too. Come check them out. 😁”

Limited space so it didn’t feel inviting to eat inside but nice location. Workers were nice, patient & helpful but, as requested, one bowl had peanut butter added & one didn’t. They didn’t distinguish between the two so we couldn’t tell until we had eaten a good portion & of course we didn’t pick the right ones which was slightly disappointing. Will return though & will be sure to ask.”

“I live near Krispy Kreme, so I visit this location often. Just like every other place around they have a short staff and it is a lasting result of covid. So many "fast food" places around here are staffed with 2 people. These sort of companies need, i assume, 6-8 employees. Yes, KK are sometimes out of an item, and sometimes close early and opens late. But every single food place around here still has to close up early, or open late, because they dont have the staff. I have had some disappointment with a place not being opened. But when they are opened and have a limited staff they really pull together. Krispy Kreem, even being a chain, has being going through this. I do not work for Krispy Kreeme and I don't know anyone there. So this is just my experience today. I arrived at Krispy Kreme early this morning and ordered a dozen glazed, and a dozen assorted. I pulled up to the window and asked about the leprechaun donuts. I asked if they were available. With my donuts already in their boxes he changed my order for me. The manager, England, was the one at the window. I saw one other person near him, and one more in there, and ai am pretty sure that was it. My morning wasn't going the best, but he made my day and made smile. I have been there a dozen or more times. Always happy, I would leave many reviews all positive.”

Once again one of my favorite places to go. Staff is always nice drinks and food are always good.

I've been coming here for years. It used to be a great place to go for a quick cheap dinner.
The 2 for 25 has slimmed so much, there are hardly any options anymore. They stopped putting the price of drinks on the menu. But I guess this is some new thing all restaurants have started doing. Kinda sucks but ok.
The reason they get the one star is for the service.
Food was as good as Applebee's always is.
Here's the issue, my server was rude and short with me. She didn't even offer us dessert, which comes with the 2/$25 so that's kind of irritating. And the cherry on top, I payed with card and left a cash tip. My server, Jennifer u, gave me a pen that was running out of ink so it took me forever to sign and fill out my receipt. I didn't put anything on the tip line, filled in my total and when we stood up to leave, Jennifer swooped down on my table and grabbed that cash before we could even walk away.
Even with awful service, I gave her the benefit of the doubt and left a 20% tip. Thinking maybe she had a long night, it's covid it can't be easy to serve right now etc..

Wrong choice.
She altered my receipt and gave herself another $10 tip off my card so she got a $20 tip on a $50 bill. Though I would love to be that generous, she didn't provide adequate service to deserve a tip that large , no matter what her personal thoughts were on it. The manager has initiated a refund but never said what consequence this women was going to get.
So just be aware. If your server is Jennifer U. She will steal from you!
I will probably not be going back. Even after years of going there. Can't trust them anymore 😔”
