“The service was amazing, this one member of the staff gave us water for free because there was none left to buy.The food is, for me, too sweet, but their choice of flavors is amazing and the fact that you could choose different top and bottom cookies was really cool.I still recommend this place if you are craving something sweet and it is nearby.“

“Sometimes the best experiences in life happen unplanned. We stumbled across the general store while being out and about on a Sunday afternoon. We only wanted a hot chocolate with whip cream, but we also saw this beautiful homemade apple pie sitting in the pastry case.Buck, the manager admitted to making the pie himself, so we couldn’t resist trying it by their cute and warm fireplace in the store.Great service, home-like coziness and great food (the BLT was perfect also).Please put the Camp Richardson General store on your radar when you visit South Lake Tahoe!! “The ice cream is regular ice cream but fairly priced they are conveniently located on the back side Harveys. A good place to go to fix your sweet tooth . They also have a small little table so you can sit down and eat your ice cream which is nice because it's kind of a long walk through the casino“
