“Came here for lunch, my husband and I each ordered soup in bread bowls and a chocolate malt to share. The chicken spaetzle was a twist on chicken and dumplings, I thought it was well seasoned and hearty. My husband's clam chowder was flavorful as well, and with the bread bowl made for a full meal. Chocolate malt was very good too. The place itself was bright and charming, and the staff were very friendly. Will definitely come back.Dietary restrictions: They had gluten free, dairy free, and vegetarian options. And they will try to accommodate for allergies.Parking: Free parking lot across the street and street parking are available.Kid-friendliness: Their menu had plenty of choices for kids.“
“As a carson resident for over 30 years, this place makes the best snacks known to me in this city. Well worth the cost. I hate seeing one person ruin a place that deserves 5 stars from everyone, the owner works very hard for what is the final product for us and the customer service sets the bar for what is proper for a business. Go here often.“
“I had breakfast for the first time on Sunday and was so pleasantly surprised. I had the Texas toast, French toast, with bacon and an egg for $15 and coffee for 295 with unlimited refills. The food was excellent. The service was great and I would highly recommend anyone to go in and have a wonderful breakfast or lunch.“
“THIS is the best yogurt We have ever eaten. We have eaten yogurt from Phoenix az to LA and on up to Washington. It is clean. Friendly service and quick fix when the chocolate custard ran out. Lots of choices for toppings. Loved the hard shell chocolate. Never seen that before. Thank you.“
“I heard about the opening of Shaq's Big Chicken in Carson City on the news awhile ago. I was in CC so I thought I would try them out The place is pretty big with a lot of tables, a bar area and a few televisions. What caught my eye was how clean the place looked. Not messy like some fast food places. I ordered the Uncle Jerome's Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich and sweet potato fries. I tried the house sauce and buffalo hot sauce. The sandwich had a good size chicken breast with a nice amount of pickles and it was slightly hot a 5/10. I've had hotter at Hattie B's in Nashville. But when I added the buffalo hot sauce it pumped up to 8/10. The sweet potato fries were crunchy and with a good distinctive flavor. The fries were good on their own but I dipped them in the house sauce which had a nice tangy flavor. The service was professional but nothing stood out. You are given a vibrating buzzer to pick up your order. I enjoyed the food and will definitely come back to try the other sandwiches and coleslaw. Recommended!“
“Every time we visit for a delicious scoop of ice cream, it is an adventure. They have home made flavors that change frequently. Delicious and very creamy ice cream. Hands down better than any franchised scoop shop. Friendly staff that are happy to let you try all the new flavors. Cheery shop space that is great to sit and enjoy. We love taking our little one and she loves using the little stool they put out so she can peer into the displays and choose her own flavor. We love supporting this local small business and hope others give it a try. So yummy.“
