“Good, traditional steak house. Excellent steaks. Great wine list and cocktails. What sets this place above others is the impeccable service. Our waiter, John, was so warm and attentive. He made us feel welcomed and elevated the dining experience. John is 100% the best part of dinner. It was my daughter's 7th birthday and we treated her to a nice steak dinner. John brought her TWO desserts-cake and chocolate covered strawberries...complimentary. It made her day and this birthday was so special. I highly recommend this place for special occasion dinners. The ambiance was perfect.l with the thick velvet curtains and leather booths.”

“GET - foie gras (cooked perfectly through!) - seabass (moist and crunchy on edges) - escargot - filet and bbq shrimp PASS - peppercorn sauce (was too earthy). my son loved his escargot that pasty popover was airy goodness. foie gras was cooked through and so good. most place under cook, but not the case here! we got a couple drinks it was really strong which is great! i should've ask to upgrade a diff vodka instead of the absolute though. came for my birthday which was great by the window and view. kid friendly place too so we can celebrate as a family.”

“Best service and food hands down. I'll go to the beaver but only because the taverns not open all the time. But if I could... the taverns menu never is boring or stagnant. Watching there kitchen work looks Ike a well orchestrated symphony. There friendly, helpful, and truly are great... there chef is amazing and talented beyond description. Iv been honestly holding back my review due to the fact I wanted to enjoy my hole I the wall discovery as long as I could, knowing full well they would be packed nearly every visit soon, and I was right. Go check em out. You will be upset only thst you havnt already.”

Anyone who would leave this place a bad review must be facing some sort of personal challenge in their life and it must be a doozy because there are but few places on planet earth that even come close to the healing powers of this magical place. I drove 546 miles to be here and damn, this is delicious. Keep it up friends. These are life changing bagels.”

“We visited for happy hour at 4 pm. We got a window seat and had excellent service from Mandy. The food was good. The mango mojito was amazing! Would pass on the lettuce wraps (but only $6). The ginger soy sauce was a really good and I used it on everything.”

“One of our birthday guy requested for BBQ while our ski trip in Lake Tahoe so we found out this place with good reviews on Yelp and would love to try it. This place not too far from South Lake Tahoe and not even 10 mis drive from Stateline. Step in around 7:30 pm and so crowded inside. Check-in with host and she said the wait time is about 45 mins for the party of 6 adults and 2 kids. Looks inside still have a few tables that available and also a few more unclean tables. Decided to wait because light snow is falling outside. Just about next 20 mins got the high table and we're so happy with that. Foods were great, ribs were amazing and moreover that is our server. He is so nice and attentive. Reasonable price and worth the wait. Definitely be back!!”

“Our regular spot for years. We can say not only the food but the service keeps us coming back. One staff member makes the visits memorable. Tucked away and usually has some availability. The drinks are possibly the best in Tahoe. 6+ years and looking forward to more. I know the new ownership is considering new things. Hopefully it doesn't change the dynamic too much.”

“Great breakfast place! The service is good from start (wait in the foyer or at the Free Bird Chai coffee place, which is in the same bldg) to finish. Our server was sweet, attentive, and fast, though she had a 6 top and two other tables besides us. The menu is large. My favorite is the Rösti, which my tablemate agreed has the PERFECT ratio of eggs (we ordered them poached) to hashbrowns and other ingredients. Delicious. The waffle... we sent ours back. It was soft and mushy and didn't have those deep pockets I love to see in a waffle. Our most truthful observation was that the free hotel breakfast waffles you get at middle range hotels are better than this one. But the pancakes we got to replace it were chef's kiss! Spongy, eggy, light, able to carry the whipped butter and warm syrup they were served with. Decor was kind of gas station ski cafe. We'll definitely come back here! The Kingsbury location is for some reason closed right now and we haven't tried the Keys location but this Bijou location is quite good.”

“Don was our server. He made it an enjoyable experience. He was really nice and he is good with Children. I had the lobster and crab tortellini and it was amazing. My wife had the mushroom ravioli which was excellent. This is a great addition to the restaurants they already have at this resort. We will definitely be going back.”

“Ivano's is by far my favorite place to eat in south lake Tahoe and one of the best restaurants I've been to period. I've been looking forward to coming back here after some time away and I'm extremely saddened to hear the passing of Ivano.
