“We have been on the road for 2 weeks, traveling across country when we stopped in. Our meal was hands down the best meal we have ate since we left home. The country gold music playing was an added bonus as well!”

“While it is a bit off the main highway if you're just passing through town on 95, I can tell you that it's well worth the detour and stop if you're looking for some really good Mexican food. And don't judge a book by it's cover or maybe you should if you look at hole in the wall establishments the way that I do because I can assure you that the inside of this place is warm and cozy and comfortable with nice booths and seating throughout. Of course, the service here is fast and super friendly and the salsa they provide with their complimentary chips is delicious, especially if you like it on the somewhat spicy side. On our last visit, my wife ordered the #9 lunch special which is an enchillada suiza which is served with a creamy style red sauce (as opposed to a deep red mole) and I got the #6 which is just 2 flautas and with chicken and both were delicious. I should note that they do have Mexican bottled Coke (for those who know) and horchata and also serve beer, wine and margaritas as well. I really do think you'll enjoy a dining experience here.”

“This place is awesome. This is the closest I've ever had to a home cooked meal at a restaurant. They cook carnitas every week, and they always turn out incredible. The cooks and butchers are super friendly as well as all the cashiers. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Vegetarian options: Bean burritos with rice or quesadillas.”

“First time dining at this chain. This place was really good. Fairly typical sandwich shop, but the atmosphere was nice, bathrooms were clean and the staff was pleasant. Would highly recommend checking them out.”

“Best taco truck in the area. I often have to spend the day in town and this is my go-to place. The steak quesadilla is fantastic, tried tacos today and it's like being back in Jalisco, the salsa is wonderful. Eat here in there shaded area or take it down the street to the rest stop where you can let the dog out.”

“Subways really vary by store ownership. My visit to the Minden store was terrible. This time we visited the Subway in Yerington. The sandwich artist made an excellent roast beef sandwich. I get all veggies. Unlike minden the veggies we surely present. This is my favorite subway out of the many we have visited. The two ladies have been there for awhile and know their stuff. “Traveled from Michigan, heading to Lake Tahoe and this little gem was a highlight to our stop in Yerington. Adorable store front, the atmosphere inside is really nice and the cashier was pleasant. The baked goods hit the spot for a travel breakfast. Wish I could transport this bakery home with me. It's so cute!”
