“This is one of the best breakfast and lunch places around the thousand islands. Wanda and her staff have been making and serving the best loaded plates for your whole family to enjoy. This a local secret that tourists find every Summer to be full of fantastic specials and #goodeats. We have tried several different items on the menu including the Wolfes burger and the huge pancakes. This time we had the meat lovers omelet with toast and home fries. The layered and wrapped omelet is full of meat and the eggs have a little fried egg taste from the griddle. The home fries have the perfect crunchy outside and flavor that ketchup is not required. The scrabbled eggs and bacon never disappoint as we were full and happy when we left. Quickly come and try the food here before they close for the winter. “This restaurant was recommended to us by the gas attendant, at one of the marinas in town. We asked what she recommended for the water, a place with good burgers, and this was one of her two suggestions, and we're happy that we came here.Prices were very reasonable and the menu selection was varied, but the focus was traditionally American fare, steaks, burgers, chicken and the like. If beer is something you like, they have a huge beer menu. The wine list was also very long. All three of us got burgers and asked for the medium. Two were perfect, but mine was more of a medium, rare side, however, I eat it is cooked, and it was delicious.My wife had ordered a pickle for hers, but none came with the meal, and she didn't feel like asking for one after the fact. Overall, the food is very good, and the prices were less than what one would expect to pay at a restaurant in a resort town. Oh, I almost forgot to mention the weight staff. They were very friendly and seated as quickly, but allowed us time to relax and enjoy a nice summer evening on the deck. The amount of time for the meal was on the longer side, but we were totally OK with that, and if we had wanted to leave sooner, I'm sure we could've let the waitress know, and I request would've been accommodated.“
“We had the best meal at the Pointe and cannot wait to go back! While the restaurant is pretty unassuming, do not be fooled, it does not disappoint. The service was excellent with Dan going above and beyond by educating us on the area, offering to take a family photo overlooking the water (self portrait by Dan too), and even golf carting us to our car after the meal. The food could not have been better. We had the best onion rings and the juiciest, flavor-filled grilled chicken. We even enjoyed more than a dozen clean, juicy steamed clams. The Pointe is not to be overlooked!“
“Awesome restaurant, Food was very good although the Haddock had entirely too much thyme on it. Service was good although in my opinion the bread should have been served before the soups came out. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the area, Beautiful view of Boldt Castle as well at sunset.“
“We were happy to find Cavallario's open on October 4th at 8 p.m., since so many other places had already closed for the season (we had no idea about "the season" before visiting 1,000 Islands area) or had closed very early evening. We ordered wine (decent selection), blue cheese stuffed filet, and the steak maison. They serve bread coated with a garlic butter topping, which, while it is a bit sloppy to cut and serve, was delicious! Our filets were tender, cooked to perfection (medium... 'raw' and cool in the middle) and were excellent cuts of meat. I highly recommend if you are in the area. They play excellent music to set up a nice romantic dining experience. The reason I am giving it a 4, is because of the lighting. It was incredibly bright and disturbed the ambiance, which was a real shortcoming of an otherwise excellent dinner.“

“We went to Alex Bay for vacation this year. While we were there, we ate at the Spot twice (lunch on one day and dinner on another day.). We had great meals both times. Service was always bright and friendly. Food was excellent. We'll be back.“
“Little pub in Alexandria Bay. Looking in the window doesn't look like much. We went in and sat at the bar. We loved it. My husband got a patty melt and scarfed it down. I got a rueben and if was excellent. I highly recommend this pub. The only issue if you can't walk steps. The bathrooms are downstairs.“
“Great prices, delicious ice cream, and serving sizes bordering on comically large! This place was well worth the stop! I got a BABY banana soft serve with rainbow sprinkles in a cup, and it was plenty for me. I even got a wonderful surprise of MORE SPRINKLES in the bottom of the cup! I’ll definitely be back.Also to note, it seems their hours on Google are incorrect. I included a photo of their sign with updated hours. Enjoy your ice cream!“
