I visited the area with a friend. We stopped in for dinner on a Thursday night in early October. The place was not very crowded. Probably because it was close to the end of the season. The weather was warm so we sat at a table outside. I ordered the Filet and Greens. Bread was brought to the table gratis. The filet was cooked well and the meat was of good quality. We were happy to find Cavallario's open on October 4th at 8 p.m., since so many other places had already closed for the season (we had no idea about "the season" before visiting 1,000 Islands area) or had closed very early evening. We ordered wine (decent selection), blue cheese stuffed filet, and the steak maison. Slightly overpriced for the quality. Wait staff was good. Nice facility. Don't know as I would go back. I liked it.. I didn't love it. The steak was not a great quality.. but well cooked.
