This place is very much not closed. New ownership since COVID so I don't think "Maria's" is in the name anymore it's just Tailgate. New owner is a ]nice young guy and customer service is good. This is a neighborhood townie type place which has it's charm. The clientele will be throwing around a lot of salty language late at night but it's mostly 50 plus so any bar fight is more likely to be comical than dangerous. Now down to the what's important. Just had a Reuben. Has to be the best Reuben around. Nice atmosphere. Friendly people. TVs that work. New pinball machine. TouchTunes on the juke box. Price great. My favorite dark little local spot.

Best bar in town. I promise you this is the place to be. Great beer, drinks, pool tables, sports Tvs, QuickDraw…what more could I ask for. Bartenders and owner are very personable.
