“Great friendly local bar I've been attending for years .. friendly bartenders and mostly locals that make you feel welcomed :) I always thought it was nice they do Firemans night on Wednesday's amongst other specials like ladies night and free pool on mondays . Cool spot“
“Food is great! Already been there a few times with my boyfriend. Definitely becoming one of our favorite places to go. We keep forgetting to take pictures of our food though ?. The hippie chicken is the best thing on their menu in my opinion. The owner John( I think that’s his name, I’m terrible with names though) is very nice, approachable, knowledgeable.“
“Small and quaint family run Portuguese restaurant. It was a full house so reservations a must. I had the stuffed Lobster which was excellent. The appetizers were fantastic as well. Byob as they don't have a liquor license as of yet. Definitely worth checking out!!“
“This restaurant is my husband and I favorite place on Long Island . We go weekly and it’s always consistent. Everything on the menu and the specials is amazing . My husbands been frequenting this place for over 30 years . The best of the best . The owner Billy is a great friend, a gentleman and always does right ! The staff is a pleasure as well . Best service! Can’t say enough good things . Highly recommend you won’t be disappointed!“
“Started going here a little while back for the Subculture nights hosted by Dj Cody and from the first visit knew this was a great place. Johnny the bartender is a great guy and a class act and a really attentive bartender. The service is great here and you never wait a long time to get a drink no matter how many people are there. Along with great service the atmosphere is pretty cool and the nights are always fun. Definitely worth the trip whether you live close or have to travel a bit. I will continue to go to The Rabbits Foot on a regular basis as it is always a great time.“
“Good brunch with huge portions, nice place, and tons of options, great spot to try!- fried pickles were very good, huge serving.-Mac and cheese burger was HUGE, very filling. Cooked correctly (rare). Mac and cheese part was good, not super flavorful.- Asian chicken salad was very good, my wife really enjoyed.- bacon washed old fashioned was good, not as flavorful of fat washed bourbon as I’ve had elsewhere. But good drink overall.- not pictured, French toast dunkers which made an excellent dessert at home with great dipping options. The size of the portions really make it worth it, definitely worth checking out. There were tons of options on the menu including some really unique items. I plan to return to try more.“
“My 2nd time at this amazing establishment. The service was excellent just like the first time. I enjoyed an espresso flight that was so good!!! My husband enjoyed all his food and he's a hard sell. Only good things to expect from Restoration Kitchen & Cocktails!“
“I had my baby shower at Goldy's Gems in November of 2023 and was absolutely thrilled by the customer service, food and atmosphere. Our guests raved about the food and how their glass was never empty, thanks to the chef, servers/bartenders! It's such a trendy place and gives off awesome vibes. We enjoyed the shower so much, that we wanted to hold our son's Baptism at another one of the restaurant groups locations. We chose to have the event at Post Office cafe and once again they knocked our socks off. We were fans just on an ordinary day, so we just knew the events would be even better and we were right. Melissa, Chris, Chris and our servers/bartender once again were amazing in every way. During our planning we also found out they just had a renovation in our event room that made it look so bright and welcoming. The staff is extremely accommodating, especially on the day of when it comes to decor setup. We were able to bring our decor earlier in the day and then have someone set up about a half hour-hour early so that when our guests arrived all was in its place. The staff at Post Office even offered to assist with some setup as long as it was simple placement. If you are ever in need of an event space, I would highly suggest Post Office Cafe and Goldy's Gems or any restaurant in this restaurant group, you just can't go wrong!“
“All American Burger has Great food at Great prices, and very nice fast & efficient workers! It's fun to go here! Where else can you get a hamburger for $4.50 that tastes good and a knish for $2.50 plus more at affordable prices! It has been around a long time since I went to school in this same neighborhood! I love this place! I definitely recommend it!Parking: Busy place. Plenty of parking if you don't go at a busy time here.Kid-friendliness: Kids love eating here. There are only outdoor tables! The workers are nice to everyone!“
“Me and my partner went to this fine restaurant for our dinner this evening and we put expectations we're very much exceeded. Our server was Alyssa and she was awesome even though she was super busy she was able to be there whenever we needed her. We will definitely be back her soon, knowing that we feel welcomed with amazing service and great meals.“
“Best breakfast place on Long Island! Excellent food, ambience, wait staff and value. Amazing selection of classic, as well as unique, menu choices. Attentive and friendly staff. Last Sunday morning we enjoyed live music by an excellent guitarist as we feasted on yet another delicious meal. Neil was great with his indomitable joyous demeanor as he brings you your meal along with his signature "Tada!" (and his rendition of "Happy Birthday" is also quite good!).“
“Monday through Thursday 3:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. full bar full menu even longer on like Friday and Saturday or something like that. Sunday might be like an early night I think. But nobody's open like they are. There's a crowd. There's ladies this dudes I mean I guess if that's what you're into hahaha lol. Great “
“Moved out here a few years ago.. live literally within a mile of this joint.. never stopped by. Decided to give it a go tonight (st Paddy's day).. it was pretty busy.. but man. What a great idea. Wish I had come sooner. Joe, the owner, was bartending and was an absolute gentleman. The hostess and waiter, and the wait staff were all attentive and very nice. We got calamari and a couple of burgers. Very reasonable prices and really great food. No complaints at all. It was a very nice night out for the Mrs and I. And now, unfortunately for my wallet, I'll have to find the time to frequent this joint for dinner. Really great spot. Really felt like a part of the family immediately.“
“This place is awesome. We've been here several times since it has opened in Plainview and we've never been disappointed by the meal. Today we had the chicken wings as appetizer, the Reuben and the Eggs Benedict made up our main. Everything was totally delicious. The Shed lemonade well worth it. The service was fantastic, thank you Eraldo F. From previous visits we've enjoyed the chicken and waffles, omelet, chilaquiles(was a special, not on regular menu) and so much more!!!“
“We hadn't been to Palmers in a while so it was our first time back in over a year. The food and waitress were excellent. A lot of people working hard. The only negatives were it got very noisy around 7:00 on Saturday and the one young hostess was not very personable. She didn't greet us when we came in at all.“
“Food Nation Generation catered my party and they were great! Graham was so nice and easy to work with and my friends and family couldn’t stop talking about how good the food was. Everything from presentation to taste was spot on! We can’t wait to invite them back to cater our next event. Keep up the great work!!!“
“Only got a coffee but it was very good. Place is not very spacious but atmosphere is great. Old school classic dinette. Not many places like this around anymore. Employees are very friendly. No gimmicks, no new wave fusion cuisine, no "modern" decor, just good food at a good price served by good people.Wheelchair accessibility: Definitely not getting a wheelchair in these tight quarters.“
“Cute little place. I started coming here with my aunt after her chemo treatments. Very good food; very friendly people, waitresses, waiters, owner even the lady where you pay. Very clean very accommodating. I Absolutely recommend coming here.“
“New favorite spot!Came for breakfast here and loved everything about it!Service was excellent! Our waitress was lovely and helped us decide what we were having. the menu has staples and not so average but delicious options- win! Even the fruit was so so sweet!Had the ricotta hot honey sourdough with fresh blue berries and omelets that were cooked to perfection.AND great music! We will be back for sure!“
“Drinks served with PRIDE. Frank, Eric and Vin are the best. Bouncers and owners are very friendly. Vibes and atmosphere are immaculate. Service is great even on busy nights! Live music/ DJ on weekends. Trivia on Mondays. Great happy hour Private party room is perfect for events. If you are looking for a bar in the area their are many but if you are looking for a great bar Ridge is the place.Happy appy appetizers :)“
“My Wife and I hosted our rehearsal dinner at the Library Cafe, Melissa was our coordinator and she was flawless with the planning, she had answers to all of our questions and understood our budget limitations, adapted to our one off requests and ensured us a great time. The day of event, Mike was our guardian angel, as soon as we got to the venue he had set up our welcome sign and all of our accessories that we assigned to some of our bridal party. He was on top of drink requests, music, and food to the point our guests were complimenting how incredible he was. He ran a 3 person show single handedly with no hiccups. The food was delicious and the space was great to fit our large party. We will absolutely be booking with them again for a future event.“
“Just had my sister's 70th surprise birthday here with 50 guests. Fantastic interior completely new interior open space with second floor dance lounge. Service and food were great. The owner has been in the bar - restaurant business for over 50 years in this area. Down the block from Long Island Railroad.“
“The aroma of beef and bacon was so amazing walking down Main street, we had to pop in for a quick bite while running some errands. So glad we did. The staff was helpful and attentive. The cocktail menu was clever as well as festive. The menu has all the right snacks and hand helds for one or a group. The events board has something posted for every day of the week. We had the Drunk Chicken Sammy with sweet potato tots and the We're Jammin Burger with battered fries. The vodka sauce with burrata elevated the chicken to the next level. Fig jam and candied bacon on the burger was on point. I will definitely partake in snacks the next time we are there for HH.“
“Always wanted to visit finally didCan't wait to go backDebra and staff were great, my wife loved the veal sorrento and I had a double cut pork chop from the specials that was fantasticDid not realize until later that was probably Guy at the stove“
“Absolutely delicious food, drinks and dessert! I had no clue this was only a mile away from me, but now that I know, I can’t wait to go back. Our waitress told us the chef changes the menu often, so I’m eager to see what other incredible things he cooks up!Only negative is the lack of parking, but we parked on the side street!“
“This is a great place and our server was fantastic, helpful and right on top of things. Very nice and large menu. Lots of tasty looking sandwiches and burgers. Really appreciated the huge beer menu and some not so well known beers. I had a Granola Brown Ale from Black Hog in CT. We started with the Crispy Cauliflower app in the chili sauce. It was excellent. My wife had the Spaghetti Squash with the pesto sauce. It was very good, on the smaller size, but a nice plate. I ordered one of the St. Patrick's specials, Corned Beef, Cabbage and potato entree. I was disappointed in the meal. While the corned beef was pretty good, the potatoes and the cabbage were undercooked and hard. took a lot away from the meal.Definitely will try the place again as the vibe and the service was first rate.“
“This is my own personal favorite deli in about a 30 mile radius. Great sandwiches, great prices considering post covid gouging. I love the fact that I can get breakfast as late as 1 or 1:30 in the afternoon. This deli can be very busy at any given time but they stay on top of their game so you're never ignored or left waiting.“
“A fun place for lunch and dinner. I was a bit hesitant bring my son who is 3yo, because you just never know if he's having a good day or bad day. But I decided to take the risk and bring him on a mini date because there's only so many visits this mommy can take to Chik-fil-A and it turned out great. He was on his good behavior and tried the mushroom risotto, which I told him was cheesy rice with my short rib and he has a cheese burger and fries. They did forget to put cheese on his burger which he was quick to point out but that was a quick fix, the staff was quick to melt a slice of cheese on his burger and brought it back out quick. My only semi-compliant was a side was small sweet potato smash was $12 which was the same cost of his burger and fries. Otherwise, everything was great, staff was attentive and we had a fun time. The food was very good, I think I would go back to try some of their other items. Thanks Rustic Root.“
“We love Butera's and have had countless dinners at the restaurants and for delivery. The food is GREAT and we love the atmosphere. Among our favorites are their chicken meatballs and zucchini linguini. They also have great salads and the best pasta on Long Island!“
“Perfect place to go to on any day, although the game atmosphere on the weekends is a party; crowded but not overcrowded and everyone is friendly. During the week it is quieter and easy to get a table. The servers know their jobs well and are attentive when you need it without overdoing it.The menu has a different selection from what I expected. There is delicious beer cheese soup, thinly sliced reuben sandwiches with sauerkraut and dressing, various salads such as fantasia salmon salad, buffalo wings, calamari, quesadillas and many more selections including a brunch on Sundays. I don't give 5 stars on food unless it is incredibly special, but this place deserves a very high 4 stars not only for the food but for the quick order taking and serving. Pricing is average unless you are a big drinker; if you are drinking, there are a huge variety of beers and other alcoholic drinks. There are about 50 live streaming tv's on every wall, including on the outside wall if you prefer to eat outdoors.Great place to go to with friends and family. Changing Times Pub has to be tried out!Parking: There are parking spaces all along the front and back of Changing Times, but there is also a large lot right next to the small group of connected stores that this pub is a part of.“
“Enjoyed dinner with friends at Bluebird Kitchen. We shared all our dishes, from apps to dessert, and nothing was left uneaten. Our wait staff was attentive and took great care of us. The decor was comfy and pleasing to the eye. I loved all the birds ? and custom wallpaper in the restroom.“
“Rachel and her service are absolutely amazing! The food is great and helpful for my goals and keep me on track. Everything I have tried, is healthy, fresh, and if I need anything modified based on my dietary needs her and the staff are able to make adjustments. Her staff are very friendly and always looking to make sure my needs are satisfied. Highly recommend to anyone looking to eat healthy and clean!Dietary restrictions: Rachel and her team are able to make very specific recommendations based on your needs.Parking: There is a great amount of parking including the back lot, in front of her location, and along the side street where she is located“
“Crown Fried Chicken, my friends, is a force to be reckoned with in the world of fried chicken. Born from humble beginnings, this establishment has ascended to the ranks of the tri-state's fried chicken dynasties, ready to spar with the heavyweight contenders. And let me make one thing abundantly clear, it stands head and shoulders above the likes of Popeyes. But what really deserves a spotlight here is the classic combo they serve up: chicken and fries. Ladies and gentlemen, this dish, in all its greasy, crispy, and savory glory, should be a contender for the title of America's national dish. It's the kind of meal that transcends borders and backgrounds, uniting us all in a symphony of flavors.Hicksville, a town known for its vibrant halal food scene, has truly struck gold with Crown fried. This is not just a gem; it's the cream of the crop. The marriage of their perfectly seasoned, tender chicken and those golden, crispy fries is nothing short of culinary alchemy. It's a testament to the power of simple, well-executed comfort food that can bring people together, regardless of where they come from. So, my friends, when you find yourself in Hicksville, do yourself a favor. Skip the tourist traps and head straight to Crown Kitchen. Raise a toast to their unbeatable fried chicken and fries, a dish that's as American as apple pie and as international as the love for great food.Kid-friendliness: Kids love the Fries.“
“Very nice looking restaurant and bar. Really great service. We both liked everything we ordered but it didn't blow us away. May sit at the bar next time and try more apps. Small feedback is the LED lighting was a little bright for my taste. Ruined thr ambiance for me.“
“My 1st time here after hearing it was worth trying this spot. Came for brunch on Sat & was part of a group of 6. Our waitress was great! Very knowledgeable about the menu & was kind enough to take pics for us & even found 1 person from the group's missing earring back.Everyone totally enjoyed their meal. I had the brushetta avocado toast w/eggs!! Delicious ?Will definitely be returning.“
“This is one of our favorite places to eat and/or drink. The food is always outstanding. Although we were first disappointed to be seated in the back room, we soon realized that a fundraiser for Detective Diller's family was going on and we were happy to be able to listen to Mariano on the Piano. We had a lovely evening.“
“I walked in for a brunch(first time), was greeted by the owner at the door. Sat to the table immediately. The menu is mostly classic brunch with their own signature items on it. The food was amazing. Service is great. Very lovely & neat restaurant in Bethpage town. Reservation wouldn’t hurt. Highly recommend. Enjoy!Vegetarian options: Avo toast, pancakes, eggs Benedict, eggs, salad, pizza etc.Dietary restrictions: Gf & df optionsParking: In the back of the building- convenient“
“Came late on a Sunday night. Very friendly bartender and fellow bar patrons. Christmas vibe...1/2 price apps and 2-for-1 drinks. Food was a bit heavy and greasy.Parking: Across from Bellmore LIRR.Kid-friendliness: Good for families.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes.“
“This is our “go to “ place for years! Wonderful atmosphere and great food!We recently hosted a party for 50 people and could not have been more pleased with the service and food. The upstairs party room is beautiful and well suited for private events.“
“Dietary restrictions: Very happy to find out that they are Gluten friendly & have a separate fryer , to avoid cross contamination. The waitress and other staff were very careful and knowledgeable regarding the concerns of gluten allergy.“
“I'm glad my neighbors told me about Center Coffee! I thought it was a coffee shop but it's really an old school Greek diner! You walk in and pick your own table. The waitress will ask you what you would like to drink and will bring out your coffee with a glass of milk in like 2 minutes! I ordered pancakes with eggs over easy and bacon. It was out in about 5 minutes! Hot, fresh, and good portions too! They are cash only but have an ATM in the back. I believe their hours are 6am to 3pm so if you're looking for a quick breakfast or lunch, then this is the place! Can't beat the prices either! I found my regular brunch spot!“
“Came in for dinner with my kids(we are visiting from Massachusetts) we put them back at the hotel and we came back cuz the vibe was so great! Food was AHH-MAZING! Service was on point ! Big Rangers bar and from the decor it also looks like a big Raiders bar as well...closing time says 11pm but that's not true, it's based on volume of people in the bar. If they are making money they will stay open. HIGHLY recommend!! Allof the servers and bartenders were great! Cant say enough about this place!! 5“
“Such an authentic and genuine experience. The food is incredible! The family who owns oak chalet is the best! They treat everyone as family. They are so kind and engaging with my little boy! We love it hereDietary restrictions: My mother is in a very special diet. They make all her dishes exactly to her specifications.Parking: HUGE parking lot. We never had a problem finding parkingKid-friendliness: The staff is unbelievably kind to all children! “The Music Bingo was so enjoyable…great music! The Kareoke felt like an actual talent night with such talented patrons. The entire place was so incredibly clean…and let’s talk about how clean the woman’s washroom was?The food was pleasingly really good! Will definitely be back!!!!“
“I had a party with 50+ people and thanks to the efforts of my Hostess with the Mostess crew, it went off flawlessly! I was provided 2 servers and a bartender and they began working immediately upon arrival. They were all professional, courteous and extremely pro-active! I didn’t have to ask them to do anything-they simply took the initiative themselves! I highly recommend this company as this was not the first time I used them and have always been happy the day after!!“
“Food and service was amazing. Owner/manager knew we loved the hot sauce and gave us a sample to take which I think was so kind. Sadly I left my take home box :( but that was my fault. CKT smash burger is huge and amazing. Love the balsamic vinaigrette for the salad as a side. daughter loved their huge chicken tenders portion. Wife loved the turkey burger. Excellent drafts and great cocktailChoices. Loved this place“
“We had a wonderful birthday dinner which included our granddaughters 2 1/2 and 9 months. The corner table was perfect for us as my grand were quite lively. Very accommodating to children. Always enjoy the food here and the service as always is impeccable“
“Tricia's cafe is filled with a 50's museum like decor. Small but quaint, the food is absolutely delicious. Fresh made food, homey vibes, the servers treat you like you are part of the family. A small spot with plenty of flavor, love and good vibes. Definitely will be stopping by again next time I visit Robert Moses beach.P.S. Best steak quesadilla I have ever tried!“
“I had an issue with my room facing the open atrium area and the noise level from the bar extending past quiet hour. The front desk manager, Stephen, immediately addressed my concern and moved me to a room in a more desirable location. I also found the front desk and concierge lounge employees to be very friendly and helpful. My room service attendant, Holly, made sure my order was as specified and she delivered it with a smile!! I really appreciated her kind demeanor. I felt my business mattered to everyone I came in contact with at this Marriott property and would not hesitate staying here again when my travels bring me back to Long Island.“
“My family and I tried Park Avenue Grill because of their large gluten free menu. The brunch food was excellent. I tried the gluten free churro waffle bites, which were divine, and GF Tuscan eggs Benedict. There was also a decent sized vegan menu! Their specialty lattes were delicious. The atmosphere is cozy inside and they have an outdoor patio! All in all, I'm excited to go back and try more of the menu, maybe dinner next time.Dietary restrictions: They have an extensive gluten free menu and a dedicated space for itKid-friendliness: They had a decent sized kids menu that offers gluten free“
