“Gem of a place. Clean establishment. Friendly staff. Excellent wings. I had the Buffalo Wings Medium. Lightly crispy, moist inside, balanced sauce. Take your son or just go hangout with Bartender Mike on a Sunday afternoon and let Mr. Bobby cook you up some delicious wings! Cool people.“
“Most amazing deli counter on the island. Great food and an amazing atmosphere. Lots of things to check out while waiting for your order. Every time you go there is something different to see. Cleanest kitchen I've ever seen and friendly staff.a very worthwhile stop if your in the vicinity.“
“Highly recommended. Food was incredible, Service on point, Maang was our server. Chef gave us bones for our beagle because we had zero leftovers! The Waygu steak was phenomenal. My favorite was the yellowfin and jalapeño sushi. Even the stupid robots are cute. This place will be a regular hang out for me and my wife. Thank you to the entire staff!“
“Vegetarian options: Chef is always so wonderful when we ask to adjust popular apps to be vegan friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: My MIL is in a wheelchair and they always go above and beyond to make her happy and always find a place for her chair.“
“We enjoyed dinner at The Linwood on Easter Sunday. Excellent service... great cocktails, delicious crispy cheese curds. Halibut was delicious! My husband had the sliders which he enjoyed. Two people had the gnocchi. My friend thought the gnocchi dish was good but a bit strong perhaps because of the chorizo. We drive from the north shore to the south shore for The Linwood... and we're never disappointed!“
“We had my sister’s baby shower here over the weekend & we’re thrilled with how everything came out. The party room is very spacious and comfortable. The food was delicious and the service was amazing! The staff was super attentive and accommodating. Highly recommend considering Nosh for your next party event!!“
“We've been to the Lake House many times. The food is always good. Service was good. I thought prices were very high as compared to the portion size. I don't know if I will be returning any time soon and judging by the relatively empty dining room, maybe many others feel the same way.“
“This restaurant is my husband and I favorite place on Long Island . We go weekly and it’s always consistent. Everything on the menu and the specials is amazing . My husbands been frequenting this place for over 30 years . The best of the best . The owner Billy is a great friend, a gentleman and always does right ! The staff is a pleasure as well . Best service! Can’t say enough good things . Highly recommend you won’t be disappointed!“
“My 2nd time at this amazing establishment. The service was excellent just like the first time. I enjoyed an espresso flight that was so good!!! My husband enjoyed all his food and he's a hard sell. Only good things to expect from Restoration Kitchen & Cocktails!“
“All American Burger has Great food at Great prices, and very nice fast & efficient workers! It's fun to go here! Where else can you get a hamburger for $4.50 that tastes good and a knish for $2.50 plus more at affordable prices! It has been around a long time since I went to school in this same neighborhood! I love this place! I definitely recommend it!Parking: Busy place. Plenty of parking if you don't go at a busy time here.Kid-friendliness: Kids love eating here. There are only outdoor tables! The workers are nice to everyone!“
“I had my baby shower at Goldy's Gems in November of 2023 and was absolutely thrilled by the customer service, food and atmosphere. Our guests raved about the food and how their glass was never empty, thanks to the chef, servers/bartenders! It's such a trendy place and gives off awesome vibes. We enjoyed the shower so much, that we wanted to hold our son's Baptism at another one of the restaurant groups locations. We chose to have the event at Post Office cafe and once again they knocked our socks off. We were fans just on an ordinary day, so we just knew the events would be even better and we were right. Melissa, Chris, Chris and our servers/bartender once again were amazing in every way. During our planning we also found out they just had a renovation in our event room that made it look so bright and welcoming. The staff is extremely accommodating, especially on the day of when it comes to decor setup. We were able to bring our decor earlier in the day and then have someone set up about a half hour-hour early so that when our guests arrived all was in its place. The staff at Post Office even offered to assist with some setup as long as it was simple placement. If you are ever in need of an event space, I would highly suggest Post Office Cafe and Goldy's Gems or any restaurant in this restaurant group, you just can't go wrong!“
“My family and I tried Park Avenue Grill because of their large gluten free menu. The brunch food was excellent. I tried the gluten free churro waffle bites, which were divine, and GF Tuscan eggs Benedict. There was also a decent sized vegan menu! Their specialty lattes were delicious. The atmosphere is cozy inside and they have an outdoor patio! All in all, I'm excited to go back and try more of the menu, maybe dinner next time.Dietary restrictions: They have an extensive gluten free menu and a dedicated space for itKid-friendliness: They had a decent sized kids menu that offers gluten free“
“Me and my partner went to this fine restaurant for our dinner this evening and we put expectations we're very much exceeded. Our server was Alyssa and she was awesome even though she was super busy she was able to be there whenever we needed her. We will definitely be back her soon, knowing that we feel welcomed with amazing service and great meals.“
“We ALWAYS LOVE dining at RCD. The ambiance is awesome. The food flavors are masterfully paired. The service is friendly.I get the strawberry fields salad with chicken. My husband got The Who; I wanted to eat his too lol! The Truffle fries are everything good and more. The owner is pleasant. She has a passion for RCD and it shows. I enjoy our conversations.I continue to bring new guests and all leave happy and well-fed.You will love this place. I do!!!“
“This place is awesome. We've been here several times since it has opened in Plainview and we've never been disappointed by the meal. Today we had the chicken wings as appetizer, the Reuben and the Eggs Benedict made up our main. Everything was totally delicious. The Shed lemonade well worth it. The service was fantastic, thank you Eraldo F. From previous visits we've enjoyed the chicken and waffles, omelet, chilaquiles(was a special, not on regular menu) and so much more!!!“
“We hadn't been to Palmers in a while so it was our first time back in over a year. The food and waitress were excellent. A lot of people working hard. The only negatives were it got very noisy around 7:00 on Saturday and the one young hostess was not very personable. She didn't greet us when we came in at all.“
“New favorite spot!Came for breakfast here and loved everything about it!Service was excellent! Our waitress was lovely and helped us decide what we were having. the menu has staples and not so average but delicious options- win! Even the fruit was so so sweet!Had the ricotta hot honey sourdough with fresh blue berries and omelets that were cooked to perfection.AND great music! We will be back for sure!“
“We had the pleasure of dining at My Grandmother's Kitchen, a local establishment. It was our first time there, and we were thoroughly impressed. The breakfast was delicious, and the atmosphere was delightful. We look forward to returning soon.“
“Awesome food truck!!!! Have to say some of the best food I have gotten out of a food truck! Used him for a work event at the end of last year! People still talk about the event and the food! Had delicious sandwiches my favorite was the Korean sandwich with the Korean French fries!!! And the tacos…. Wish he had a spot so I can get them whenever I want. Chef Graham was very accommodating with the menu and the suggestions helped a lot! Thank you and I will be using you again!“
“My Wife and I hosted our rehearsal dinner at the Library Cafe, Melissa was our coordinator and she was flawless with the planning, she had answers to all of our questions and understood our budget limitations, adapted to our one off requests and ensured us a great time. The day of event, Mike was our guardian angel, as soon as we got to the venue he had set up our welcome sign and all of our accessories that we assigned to some of our bridal party. He was on top of drink requests, music, and food to the point our guests were complimenting how incredible he was. He ran a 3 person show single handedly with no hiccups. The food was delicious and the space was great to fit our large party. We will absolutely be booking with them again for a future event.“
“Only got a coffee but it was very good. Place is not very spacious but atmosphere is great. Old school classic dinette. Not many places like this around anymore. Employees are very friendly. No gimmicks, no new wave fusion cuisine, no "modern" decor, just good food at a good price served by good people.Wheelchair accessibility: Definitely not getting a wheelchair in these tight quarters.“
“Monday through Thursday 3:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. full bar full menu even longer on like Friday and Saturday or something like that. Sunday might be like an early night I think. But nobody's open like they are. There's a crowd. There's ladies this dudes I mean I guess if that's what you're into hahaha lol. Great “
“we had an incredibly romantic valentine's day at whalers. delicious cocktails, perfect food, beautiful setting. we were so happy we brought our parents back the following week and had another positively exquisite dining experience. thank you, whalers!“
“Moved out here a few years ago.. live literally within a mile of this joint.. never stopped by. Decided to give it a go tonight (st Paddy's day).. it was pretty busy.. but man. What a great idea. Wish I had come sooner. Joe, the owner, was bartending and was an absolute gentleman. The hostess and waiter, and the wait staff were all attentive and very nice. We got calamari and a couple of burgers. Very reasonable prices and really great food. No complaints at all. It was a very nice night out for the Mrs and I. And now, unfortunately for my wallet, I'll have to find the time to frequent this joint for dinner. Really great spot. Really felt like a part of the family immediately.“
“We went for my Mom's birthday dinner and we had a good time. Our server Spencer was lovely and the place had a nice atmosphere despite the lighting. It was very empty this Sunday evening but it took quite a while for our meals to come. The food was great with decent portions for the price. The chicken meatballs were filling and the passion fizz drink was tasty. My mom got an orange and vanilla creme brulee for her birthday on the house that she absolutely enjoyed. Just wish they had more non pork options and meals more kid friendly on the menu (we weren't the only party with children while we were there so definitely considered a family friendly establishment).“
“The aroma of beef and bacon was so amazing walking down Main street, we had to pop in for a quick bite while running some errands. So glad we did. The staff was helpful and attentive. The cocktail menu was clever as well as festive. The menu has all the right snacks and hand helds for one or a group. The events board has something posted for every day of the week. We had the Drunk Chicken Sammy with sweet potato tots and the We're Jammin Burger with battered fries. The vodka sauce with burrata elevated the chicken to the next level. Fig jam and candied bacon on the burger was on point. I will definitely partake in snacks the next time we are there for HH.“
“Just had my sister's 70th surprise birthday here with 50 guests. Fantastic interior completely new interior open space with second floor dance lounge. Service and food were great. The owner has been in the bar - restaurant business for over 50 years in this area. Down the block from Long Island Railroad.“
“We had an awesome server. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. We had 2 appetizers, the mushroom flatbread and burata. Our dinners were awesome also. So many nice things to say. They were both filling and delicious. We had an enjoyable evening and will gladly come back.“
“A fun place for lunch and dinner. I was a bit hesitant bring my son who is 3yo, because you just never know if he's having a good day or bad day. But I decided to take the risk and bring him on a mini date because there's only so many visits this mommy can take to Chik-fil-A and it turned out great. He was on his good behavior and tried the mushroom risotto, which I told him was cheesy rice with my short rib and he has a cheese burger and fries. They did forget to put cheese on his burger which he was quick to point out but that was a quick fix, the staff was quick to melt a slice of cheese on his burger and brought it back out quick. My only semi-compliant was a side was small sweet potato smash was $12 which was the same cost of his burger and fries. Otherwise, everything was great, staff was attentive and we had a fun time. The food was very good, I think I would go back to try some of their other items. Thanks Rustic Root.“
“We love Butera's and have had countless dinners at the restaurants and for delivery. The food is GREAT and we love the atmosphere. Among our favorites are their chicken meatballs and zucchini linguini. They also have great salads and the best pasta on Long Island!“
“This is a great place and our server was fantastic, helpful and right on top of things. Very nice and large menu. Lots of tasty looking sandwiches and burgers. Really appreciated the huge beer menu and some not so well known beers. I had a Granola Brown Ale from Black Hog in CT. We started with the Crispy Cauliflower app in the chili sauce. It was excellent. My wife had the Spaghetti Squash with the pesto sauce. It was very good, on the smaller size, but a nice plate. I ordered one of the St. Patrick's specials, Corned Beef, Cabbage and potato entree. I was disappointed in the meal. While the corned beef was pretty good, the potatoes and the cabbage were undercooked and hard. took a lot away from the meal.Definitely will try the place again as the vibe and the service was first rate.“
“Had a very pleasant experience. Great dinner food. Had the turkey club panini and the veggie burger. I'd recommend both. The turkey club panini was a fresh take on turkey club. The tomato was still a bit cold which was odd, I thought it would be warm, but I had no issue with that. Good flavor.“
“Great food, great service and cozy atmosphere!!! Love that place! We had such a nice evening with friends! Music is not too loud so you have have. Lovely conversation with your guests. Food is fresh and delicious. And also my Allagash White beer came nice and cold in a frosty glass! We'll be back again soon!“
“This is one of our favorite places to eat and/or drink. The food is always outstanding. Although we were first disappointed to be seated in the back room, we soon realized that a fundraiser for Detective Diller's family was going on and we were happy to be able to listen to Mariano on the Piano. We had a lovely evening.“
“Solid brunch in an unexpected location! I've visited Me & You a few times over the years, as my parents and their friends are quite fond of the place. My most recent visit was during a super busy Sunday brunch rush. We made a reservation but still had to wait a bit. As you could imagine, the place was packed with both boozy brunch crowd AND families with small kids. I had the club sandwich, an item I don't normally go for. It was to offset the sweetness of all of the other entrees we ordered. It was a hefty sandwich, and all of the proportion for the filling was just right. I loved the crunchy sweet potato fries. I had a bit of the blueberry lemon ricotta crepe also. It was sweet but not too sweet as the lemon curd and the blueberries added a nice acidity. Their crepe is not what I think of as crepe, a bit on the thin pancake side than a true French crepe. I've had their other breakfasts before, like the eggs Benedict (ok, nothing to write home about) and the French toast during weekdays, much less busy times. But I felt the food was better despite the Sunday rush. I haven't had drinks here, but they look good, and plenty of tables were drinking it up. The location and the hospitality give them bonus points. Bethpage Station is a skip away. The staff is always friendly. It has the Greek diner vibe without being too old-fashioned. It's nice to have a robust breakfast-y and more lunch-y options both available. Also, they very nicely brought out free dessert for my friend's birthday, though it was clear they were past closing time, and we were some of the last patrons left!“
“Perfect place to go to on any day, although the game atmosphere on the weekends is a party; crowded but not overcrowded and everyone is friendly. During the week it is quieter and easy to get a table. The servers know their jobs well and are attentive when you need it without overdoing it.The menu has a different selection from what I expected. There is delicious beer cheese soup, thinly sliced reuben sandwiches with sauerkraut and dressing, various salads such as fantasia salmon salad, buffalo wings, calamari, quesadillas and many more selections including a brunch on Sundays. I don't give 5 stars on food unless it is incredibly special, but this place deserves a very high 4 stars not only for the food but for the quick order taking and serving. Pricing is average unless you are a big drinker; if you are drinking, there are a huge variety of beers and other alcoholic drinks. There are about 50 live streaming tv's on every wall, including on the outside wall if you prefer to eat outdoors.Great place to go to with friends and family. Changing Times Pub has to be tried out!Parking: There are parking spaces all along the front and back of Changing Times, but there is also a large lot right next to the small group of connected stores that this pub is a part of.“
“My 1st time here after hearing it was worth trying this spot. Came for brunch on Sat & was part of a group of 6. Our waitress was great! Very knowledgeable about the menu & was kind enough to take pics for us & even found 1 person from the group's missing earring back.Everyone totally enjoyed their meal. I had the brushetta avocado toast w/eggs!! Delicious ?Will definitely be returning.“
“Rachel and her service are absolutely amazing! The food is great and helpful for my goals and keep me on track. Everything I have tried, is healthy, fresh, and if I need anything modified based on my dietary needs her and the staff are able to make adjustments. Her staff are very friendly and always looking to make sure my needs are satisfied. Highly recommend to anyone looking to eat healthy and clean!Dietary restrictions: Rachel and her team are able to make very specific recommendations based on your needs.Parking: There is a great amount of parking including the back lot, in front of her location, and along the side street where she is located“
“A hidden gem on Long Island. Everyone should know this place by now.Don't know where to start? Read the menu entirely, and you will know that the chowder soups are the best. Do not skip these soups. You'll want a bowl, not a cup, and even then, you'll be asking for seconds. Don't sleep on the seafood bisque either. Definitely buy some to take home. The appetizers were a bit small, but with the prices of everything these days, you get what you paid for. The crab cakes were delicious and full of crab while other places go heavy on the breading instead. We ended up having the shrimp boat, shrimp po boy, blackened catfish tacos and shrimp salad. Everything was flavorful. Big portions as well.I do believe they are closed for the month of February but I will be going back myself when it opens in March.“
“So glad we went! My wife and I came in thinking we would try the place out for hamburgers. Thanks to our superb waiter (I believe his name is Marty), he told us about the special that they had, and it was too good of a deal to pass up. The chicken sandwich was delicious, and truth be told would have been well worth it at the regular price, but as a special, it was a steal! For an app we decided to split the pretzel. It was quite large, had great dips to go along with it, and came out warm, fresh, and perfect. The chicken sandwich (we both ordered it) was flavorful and moist, and great sauces to accompany it, which we enjoyed with the French fries. We could not finish it all, but that did not stop us from enjoying the milk shakes at the end.I'm so grateful for the waiter telling us about the special, and he was extremely attentive and personable. I can honestly say he treated us as if we were dear friends, and could not have been better.Looking forward to going back and eventually trying the burgers, as they looked fantastic!!“
“Dietary restrictions: Very happy to find out that they are Gluten friendly & have a separate fryer , to avoid cross contamination. The waitress and other staff were very careful and knowledgeable regarding the concerns of gluten allergy.“
“Totally loved my experience today. Food was off the hook, and the service was amazing. Our dishes came out hot and delicious, perfectly seasoned. The owner/manager was polite and friendly. The place is spotless. Music was great, too! Definitely worth a visit!“
“We had a wonderful birthday dinner which included our granddaughters 2 1/2 and 9 months. The corner table was perfect for us as my grand were quite lively. Very accommodating to children. Always enjoy the food here and the service as always is impeccable“
“JTI's is thee BEST! I highly recommend this place! Nick and team helped us host a luncheon after my grandmothers funeral. They were incredibly easy to work with, extremely helpful, and always responsive. Their customer service is second to none and the food is consistently outstanding, exceeding my expectations every time.“
“We’ve been ordering take out often. I broke my foot so cooking meals has been a challenge. We have been ordering quite often and are meals are being delivered hot & Delicious ? The ice cream sundae’s we’ve been treating ourselves to at the end of are meals are always Fantastic!! I highly recommend Friendly’s of Massapequa Park New York. THANK YOU & ENJOY?“
“I had a party with 50+ people and thanks to the efforts of my Hostess with the Mostess crew, it went off flawlessly! I was provided 2 servers and a bartender and they began working immediately upon arrival. They were all professional, courteous and extremely pro-active! I didn’t have to ask them to do anything-they simply took the initiative themselves! I highly recommend this company as this was not the first time I used them and have always been happy the day after!!“
“Food is great here. Had the cheesesteak Chiddys way. Amazing! Also had the Hot Dog with onions mustard and sauerkraut. I'm not sure if the bun was buttered but it was delicious. Also ordered Cheesesteak in a wrap instead of bun.Very good. Also ordered the chili, it was ok. I like my chili with a little more veggies and beans and a little more soupy. This was like an Italian meat sauce consistency and a bit too tomato-y if that makes sense . The place is cute and the staff was friendly and helpful in describing the food. Overall I would order again and will try other items.“
“It is one of the most hidden gems on Long Island. If I tell you the food is so fresh. I mean you have to wait for it to come off fresh off the grill. The flavors are so mouth watering. Thank god it’s 25 mins from my home or I’d be there weekly. I do warn you that if you taste their tzatziki you can never go anywhere else. It’s to die for!!!“
“Tricia's cafe is filled with a 50's museum like decor. Small but quaint, the food is absolutely delicious. Fresh made food, homey vibes, the servers treat you like you are part of the family. A small spot with plenty of flavor, love and good vibes. Definitely will be stopping by again next time I visit Robert Moses beach.P.S. Best steak quesadilla I have ever tried!“
“Our 1st visit was a pleasant experience doing breakfast. Had the big breakfast ??. My better 1/2 had eggs Benedict & we were very satisfied with the food, service, staff & waitress. Has that classic old school late 80's early 90's diner look with the stainless & mirrors. Some seats have that classic pvt. table jukebox.Parking: Convenient corner diner on Sunrise hwy. svc. Rd.Kid-friendliness: Crayons & pics for the kids to color with. (Upon request)Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp & stairs leading to the main entrance.“
