“Stopped here for dinner while on vacation in the area, First thing is our waitress was super nice and friendly great personality perfect waitress. I ordered the NY Strip steak and it was cooked perfectly temperature wise, a little too much charred flavor for my liking but overall a well cooked steak. Got broccoli as a side it just came steamed not sautéed or anything. The other thing is they are cash only didn’t realize that till the end of dinner so good thing they have an ATM in the restaurant. I would try this place again if I was in the area for sure. If you are near by give it a try it’s worth the stop. NY Style cheesecake with strawberries was good.“
“It's a sports bar with a lot of TVs . There is quite a big main room and also a lot of room outside on covered and open decks. There's a large room downstairs with a couple of pool tables, a couch and tables and stools. My brother was in town for his high school reunion and they met up there. It was a good time.“

“I did ordering from Shelley's Deli for a large family party. I initially chose Shelley's Deli due to the consistent quality of the food over the years of eating there. Once I spoke with Mike, I would never go anywhere else for catering. Mike was personable, friendly and down to earth. Mike was willing to do whatever he needed to do to help me with the food planning, and demonstrated that with every phone call. Mike and his wife delivered the food to our party, went above and beyond at every corner, and the food received rave compliments from our guests. I would highly recommend Mike, Shelley's Deli, for all your party needs, and your everyday food market stop; you will not be disappointed.“
“I got the frozen chicken parm dinner for a very generous price, brought it home and warmed it up. And it was absolutely amazing. Some of the best chicken parm I’ve ever had. “Stopped here for a slice. My score is based solely on their cheese pizza. It was very good. Sauce was solid. A bit heavy on the oregano but I like that. Cheese was very tasty. The pizza was not too floppy or greasy. Just a solid pizza place. The takeout people were all ever friendly. 2 slices and a can of soda for $5.50 is a great lunch deal. The smell in this place was mouthwatering. I will be trying this spot again.“
“Not the kind of pizza that one would expect that is situated in between a small town and half way down from a even smaller village in Southern Tier. Afterall, the pizza of choice in the immediate locality is sheet pizza. Theirs is far from it. When it comes to NY style, my opinion is that Langland's has some of the best in the area. The crust, the cheese and the toppings are done to near the perfection a pizza snob comes to expect. Their white pies are equally as good as the more commonly available red. They also offer a tasty couliflower crust variation that is worth mentioning.“
“I go to Mario's or have them deliver about once a month over the past 16 years so I'll base this review on my approximately 192 experiences with Mario's. Always a top notch 100% authentic New York thin crust pizza baked to perfection! Every single time! Now here's where they shine: if you put veggies on your pizza like onions, peppers, olives etc, it's hard not to get a soggy pizza. Not at Mario's, the crust is always crispy, never soggy and in the 200 times I've ordered their pizza, it's perfectly cooked. I probably should have written a review years ago, guess I took this place for granted but man they are a class act. I've eaten inside a few times and the service has always been friendly and prompt. The ambiance is quintessential local pizza joint--wonderful. My employer is about 3 miles away and we always go to Mario's for special lunch events or order for on-site visitors. It's just a well rounded perfect pizza joint and the price is super affordable. Love this place!“
“I’ve lived in NYC and Philly and this pizza has to best I’ve ever had. I got the spicy kielbasa with red sauce - the sausage was spicy, jalapeños were fresh, the dough, sauce, everything was masterful.This isn’t a traditional pizzeria, it’s right next to an eponymous bar and you text the order to a number. The chef then brings you the pie from I guess his personal kitchen? Not exactly sure. The bar was great vibes and traffic picks up later at night.“
“It's a dreary cool, damp day in mid April. Clouds are doing the usual thing in Broome County. Since I needed a spring sheering I decided to stop at Franks on The Avenue for a cut. Lucky I went as they are beginning a major reconstruction on The Avenue. Well I got my hairs cut and since it was close to lunch I decided to check out The Original Italian Pizza just a few doors down from Franks. I go in the back door and was immediately greeted. Since I was going to take my order home I asked, "How fast can you finish up a cheese and pepperoni?" The answer was "7 minutes." OK ! Outstanding! Anyway the pizza is finished, I pay, load it into the car and head home. A few minutes later I open the box and theres this beautiful pizza begging to be eaten....and I did. This pizza took me back to a great NY pizza. Thin crust, just crispy enough. The sauce, uniform, tasty, not sweet, not watery. The cheese to die for with great stretch. Now onto the fold...a work of art. This is by far one of the great pizzas in the area. Great flavor and reasonably priced. They're open Mondays thru Friday 10 to 10. They have a nice size dining area and have a nice menu including stromboli, calzone, salads, spaghetti and subs. Now as I waited I noticed a kind of silent conversation taking place as orders were being taken and modified then delivered to waiting customers with everything to perfection. Not only does that speak of repeat customers but a caring staff that knows their customers and thats a great thing. I don't know why I didn't stop by sooner but it's definitely worth it.“
“Just had a Christmas lunch with 15 people, the service and food were excellent. The service was friendly and efficient. As each person arrived, their drink order was taken and filled immediately and once everyone was seated, the food orders were taken. The food showed up shortly after.“
“This place isn't just a pizza joint , it's an absolute delicious italian restaurant !!! I had the veal Marsala with a "side" of pasta and my mom had ravioli .. comes with homemade garlic knots, cooked warm and fresh and a nice dinner salad.. the waitress was amazingly friendly and helpful.. “Had been asking around for a while what some good pizza spots are down here near Binghamton. Got referred to Nicks more than once! Got a pizza later at night was actually the last one of the night. Super nice inside area. The pizza was great! The dough was nicely done and flavored well. There weren't any dry spots, sauces both done nicely. An 8/10 pie wish the chicken was a little bigger, and the garlic had a little more cheese. One of the best I've had down here in the Binghamton area. We will BE BACK! Also excited to try their other Italian food sometime.“
