“The place opens at 1:00 pm every day. We went on a Wednesday for lunch. We did all you can eat (AYCE). I calculated the cost of what we wanted to try and the AYCE. It was cheaper to go with AYCE. It was $25 per person which I found reasonable. They offered fried items and boiled items. We had the fried oysters, shrimp, calamari, soft shell crab, crab ball, flounder, and onion rings. The seafood was on the small side but it was off season so I expected it. The crab ball was dry. The oysters were slightly salty but not too bad. Overall it was good. It was cooked just right and it was crispy. It came out nice and hot and quickly. The wait staff was attentive but not annoying. The decor was cute. I will go back when seafood is in season to see if they are bigger.Parking: Strip Mall ParkingWheelchair accessibility: Very accessible with plenty of maneuvering room.“
“We stopped in for our first time. We wanted some good Mexican food but we wanted to stay close to home. We were not disappointed. The food was excellent. We shared the chicken Quesadilla and we both ordered the chicken Alambres. Both dishes were excellent especially the Chicken Alambres. We are definitely going back. I highly recommend going and giving the place a try.“

“I’ve been coming to Rolo’s since they first opened and they really never disappoint. The food just gets better and better. Everything is amazing but my hands down favorite is the shrimp. I’d say it’s easily some of if not the best shrimp I’ve ever had in my life. The whole menu just compliments itself from the Calabrian chili butter to the wagyu steak. Also, Sitting in the back of the restaurant is such a cool experience because you get to watch the chefs work their magic on that wood fire grill. This is definitely one of the best restaurants in NYC and in my top 5.“

“One of my favorite restaurants in all of Astoria! My husband and I always bring friends and family here when they visit the neighborhood. The staff is always so incredibly nice and generous (Miljan is usually our server and is so attentive and hilarious). We always have a wonderful time here, whether it’s a quiet weekday lunch or a packed Saturday night.“
“We had just landed after seven long days in India and were looking forward to having some beef. We stopped into Bobby vans and had the most marvelous steaks. The service was amazing. The steaks were ready within 15 minutes and cooked to perfection. Kayla and her manager, Nico were so friendly and helpful. We felt really welcome and had a great experience. We’ll definitely be back next time through JFK.“

“I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. This was our second time here and it has quickly become one of our goto places in Astoria. From the greeting at the door to the selection of great wine and cocktails- all unique because the are craft brews- to the staff answering our many questions about the very different and delicious menu to the quality of the food- an awesome experience. Last week we were there and enjoyed live jazz and the musicians mingled and talked with us. The decor is very comfortable. Looking forward to attending the special event nights, too. “It was date night!!! Double date night that is. My close boy and I planned a secret double date with our significant other. They did not know it was a double until we met up at the door of Salvaje social club. let me just say the ambiance did not disappoint at all, the wild jungle theme had me loving every minute of my walk in and stay. Throughout the night the smoke machine would random blow smoke give the place a misty look. The music was pumping all night long and kept us in an upbeat vibe. The selection of music was mainly Spanish music, they did sprinkle in some English music but for most the night it was reggaeton etc. Although I didn't understand what was being said I surely loved the beat of every song that played. The staff at salvaje was very quick, informative of the menu, polite and friendly. We started off with the seeds of passion which was very tasty and strong. We did two rounds of that drink, couldn't get enough of it lol. I then had a Hennessy and pineapple juice , I don't know what pineapple juice was used but it was so good along with the Hennessy. For starters we had the shrimp toastadas and let me tell you it was amazing , I highly recommend it. Two of us ordered the Milton's rice and the other two ordered chicken on the cut. The rice was well fried and seasoned along with the shrimp, it was just a bit salty but i still loved it, the food really did not let me down at all. We stuck around after eating to drink more and dance a bit during our stay. I'll give Salvaje a 10/10 for vibes 10/10 for drinks 9/10 for Food 10/10 for service 10/10 for ambiance“
“Such a cute space! As it’s next to my house, it had been on my list for a while. Went by early hours of opening and had delicious mock-tails. Albeit, the happy hour deal seems solid too ($6 margarita!).There are lots of plants and games. I’d go back with a group of friends!“

“I brought my daughter for dinner this past Thursday night. I didn't know there was live music. I was a little worried at first that my daughter would find the music too loud but she loved it! The honey truffle Brussel sprouts were so delicious. I can't wait to go back and have it again. We also had the risotto funghi and banana bread pudding....both also very tasty. I also tried the happy jalapeño drink...so delicious and not sweet. Overall a wonderful night out!“
“I was asked to leave tonite due to an incident with a friend of mine a few weeks ago. I feel extremely apologetic and I must admit the bartender handled it with class. I will respect their wishes to not return but also I want to apologize for any incident that made the staff feel unworthy. This is a great bar with great cocktails and I only wish them the best. “It is an excellent and unpretentious place for a girl's night out. We went on a Thursday they had Good music with enough volume to talk with your friends. Good food and curated coctails, I got the Parmesan sandwich on a hero, and it was freshly prepared and delicious plus it came with salad instead of French fries. ( good to cut your carbs ;)) the waiter was fun and kind.“

“I love the decoration, the atmosphere, the food was great and prices are very good. Everybody was friendly and my food came right away I was very hungry after partying a night before so that helped a-lot. The bartender Cynthia made me feel welcomed and informed me about all the specials and suggested to pick something from the brunch menu. The steak eggs and home-fries were to die for! neatly cooked and not old or spoiled (i know this because i cook at home regularly). I will be returning soon because I have 3 jobs and i'm always busy but with that being said 5 stars!“

“I've been to Tobalá a couple of times since they opened, and their food, drinks, and service have always been great. But last night, they were absolutely stunning. I tried a few dishes (Memelas de Wagyu and Enmoladas de Pato) for the first time, and I was in shock, super delicious!! I want to congratulate their staff and owners for their constant effort to elevate the experience at Tobalá and improve every day, bringing this beautiful concept to the community. Definitely my favorite restaurant in the area.“

“Dropped in here a few weeks ago for some drinks and catching up with my friend that lives nearby. I think I had passed this a bunch of times in my adventures of going to Jackson Heights but never checked it out. One perk automatically, there's a check in special of a complimentary glass of Sangria! I haven't seen a check-in special in you don't know how long. It was really exciting. I went with the red sangria and then later ordered their take on a smoked old fashioned. Both were very potent and delicious. The aroma of the old fashioned was amazing. We also ended up getting a flan desert. Now this is going to sound ridiculous but I normally hate flan and this was really delicious. It had a texture that wasn't too jiggly and just creamy surrounded with beautiful strawberries and layered with caramel. It was almost more like a custard and I'll take custardy flan over jello flan every day. Their menu and brunch menu sounds delicious and would definitely think about coming back to try more.“

“Hot spot on Ditmars any given day of the week! My friend and I came on a Thursday for an embroidery class that was given by Caitlyn from Lemon water studios. The class was in the covered outdoor area in the back. It started at 6:30pm which meant that the sun started to set on us early on into the class and it kinda hindered our eyesight with the needle and thread embroidery business going on so we had to make use of little lamps that were given to us. It was a fun event that I would definitely recommend.We enjoyed mojitos and Korean bbq chicken sandwiches with fries…..yum!“

For our entrees we had the chicken tacos and the camarones al ajo. Definitely hit the spot. We passed on dessert but will be back!“

“I saw a commercial for C restaurant and the food looked really good so my friend and I went to check it out. It is super cute inside - great atmosphere and details. The focaccia bread they bring is so soft and the olive oil is extra tasty. We had the frito appetizer, pappardelle, gnocchi special, and chocolate mousse cake. Everything was delicious! I plan on bringing my mom there next time she visits, but I might go back sooner to try some of the other dishes too.“

“Ok so, this is gonna be long. Ok so I'm a Jamaican and usually stay away from Jamaican restaurants because lately they seem to be cutting corners. I'm a chef and from the old school of real Jamaican cuisine. That being said, the food here has flavor, some dishes are way better than others. The thing I don't like, is the outrageous prices for such small plates. I get it, people gotta make money but when you give your customers a little more, they come back often. Also, the waitress is nice but need training on timing. Bring utensils first and if its a couple, bring both meals together, not bring one plate then 10 minutes later you bring the other.. I like the mature Reggae music played while eating on Friday evening. Oh a live band at 10pm but different genre of music so could be socca , reggae or whatever . I prefer the reggae band. Now after the band finished, the DJ ticked me off. I hate when him cut upp the music after 5 seconds. People were upset about that. Dj could be ok but have no clue how to watch the floor. If see mature people, run the music n stop the cutting up and play the song Dem. Chu man. Me vex and leff. Hellooooooo. adults spend money suh if music nice people wi spend cause Dem dance and sweat. Ok so, i went into details n hopefully the owner reads this and edit as necessary cause my presence can expand your establishment if you listen. Great location , with some adjustments this place could sell aff. I do this for a living, go into businesses, assess whats , great and what needs adjustments and make suggestions. Get it done !! “I really liked the sweet plantains but the churros were super small and came in the pieces but ice cream was large for no reason cause the churros were literally smaller than my fingers , I liked the the empanadas and the street corn a-lot , they’re were also kind enough to send some extra sauce that I asked for , they were super friendly on the phone .“

“Heard good things about this place so we decided to go, glad we did. I got the stuffed baked clams appetizer and a French onion soup both were delicious. For my entree I got the sliced skirt steak, great choice the steak was very good and so were the mashed sweet potatoes that I got with it. My everyone that I was with got something different they said each dish was very good as well, the only person that didn’t like it very much was the pork chops he said they weren’t the greatest . They have a ton of dessert options which is nice as well, the banana foster was amazing.“
