“Simple burger spot in Beacon - stopped by to eat a well deserved burger after a long hike. I got the single Dutch Burger ($11) and some fries ($3.50) to go. I loved all the veggies in the burger; lots of spring salad mix, tomatoes, slivered onions and lots of pickle slices. It was a pretty messy burger though, lots of water was on the bottom of my to-go container and the toppings kept on falling out. I thought the patty was a bit on the smaller side and the fries were way too soggy, but overall a decent spot!“
“'twas open Easter Sunday. Vegetable hash seemed to be expensive at $21, but was so good, we ordered second one. Baileys coffee at $12 was ok. Breve coffee was good, but the beans were overroasted (say, compared to Undeground Breve). Overall, good place, food, and Service. Only one restroom, always busy, but clean and great soap there.“
“We happened to stop in on Easter Sunday without a reservation. Luckily enough we were able to sit at the bar, which was amazing. Luke, the bartender steered us in the right direction for food and their amble beer selection. Will not only be back but will tell anyone heading in that area to go.“
“Always delicious. One of the finest eating establishments in the area. Gourmet hamburgers and chicken breasts so delicious there aren't words to describe the delicious taste. And don't forget to order mac n cheese, you won't believe mac n cheese could taste so good. I haven't eaten there food sober yet though so I'm not sure if I'd say the same.“
“Great burger, great appetizers and a slew of fantastic drinks. There seem to be more staff and folks tending the bar that I seem to remember over the last couple of years but there's nothing wrong with that. For the locals the wherehouse is definitely a comfortable place to go, a great place to hang out on the weekends especially in the summer. Tons of parking around the area and lots of other little things to go and see as well on Liberty street. But with the live music and the good food you can spend a couple hours here without a problem.“
“You don't want to miss this place! The views alone make it worth a stop but the food puts the experience over the top. I'm not usually a mid-day cocktail drinker, but the bar menu is too good to pass up. Don't sleep on the dumplings. You won't be disappointed.“
“Amazing comfort food location. The service is very good as the owner is clearly passionate about her food and gives you individual service. The food is excellent. I highly recommend stopping in for some takeout or using one of the high tops.“
“Fishkill is rich with Dining opportunities. The Newest addition to dining on main street is a true enrichment for the community. Across from the long established photography Studio is this new pearl. The Menü is rich in verity the items are authentic the owner and the chef is Greek and the food will confirm it.We were there a week after they opened and they already had a good flow of takeout orders. My wife had the Salmon and I had the Gyro platter.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp in back leading to the parking lot.“
“Chicken and rice was spicy otherwise it was good. The burger was ok. Very clean front dinner area. Would go back. Chicken and rice, burger combo with fries and a soda were $21 and change. The city of Newburgh put parking meters though. Plus the DOT NY bridge toll over Hudson river.“
“Absolutely love Joe's Dairy Bar! I can't get enough of their delicious ice cream - it's simply the best! It's no surprise that this place is always buzzing with people, but the service is still top-notch. Their burgers and sandwiches are equally fantastic; they've got something for everyone. Joe's Dairy Bar is definitely my go-to spot for a satisfying meal and a sweet treat. Highly recommend!“
“Stopped there for the first time and ordered two subs. the subs were outstanding. Fresh ingredients and plenty of them on the sandwich. The quality of the sandwich sub surpasses any sub that is offered from any other place. Got a sub from another establishment and no comparison. NY Hometown Deli is outstanding in their food.“
“I used to eat at brother’s pizzeria in beacon. Since everything at brother has gone down hill including their service I had to find a new place. This place is extremely clean. The pizza was good and my kids loved the penne alla vodka. Will be coming back to try more things.“
“Almost the perfect burger. I'd put it up against the gourmet burgers of the super expensive steakhouses anytime. And one very important thing, the cooks were super clean, changing gloves every time they started a new order. There is one better burger but it's limited locations make it a moot point. Right on 5 Guys!“
“Nice place for a quick meal. I wouldn't recommend a romantic dinner there though. Handshakes burgers are really good and their Handshakes wing sauce is very good also. I recommend you go to their website and look up their specials, buy 1 burger get one half price. Taco night, steak night, all you can eat wings and ribs. Nice place for a quick meal. If like pool they have a pool table and bar upstairs also besides other things.“
“Tasty food prepared spot on! We enjoyed tender calamari, the Calypso bowl with mahi-mahi and shrimp along with roasted onions and peppers, juicy chicken tenders and wonderful garlic parm fries! Did I mention the excellent service? Great place for lunch or dinner or a night out!“
“Stopped here with wife over the weekend. We had fish grinder sandwich and cheesesteak with onion rings. Everything was great including the onion rings which were cooked perfectly. Service was great. I Wanted to add after reviewing the comments on here about the owner. We are from out of town and were greeted at door by Doug who led us to our table. We stayed about 1 hr and when we left he was outside we said goodbye and he said goodbye no issues. Definitely will return when in area again.“
“I LOVE Route 9 Pizza. Every time I stay at the Countryside Motel, across the road, I always order from this place at least once. The food is great, the prices are reasonable and the customer service is excellent. I look forward to dining in soon.“
“5 guys is usually pretty good but this location was very very good. The service was excellent. The food came out fast and hot. It was clean. The staff was very efficient in their work. If you like good burgers this is a nice quick place to stop.“
“Almost on any given day you drive by this place is parking lot is either packed or 3/4 full and the three or four times I've been here I've been really pleased with the menu and especially the drinks they craft. I think the bartenders take a special pride in what they do as they will straight up tell you hey this cocktail might not be up to your taste if you don't like mezcal etc etc and they can substitute to your taste. Personally I think that sort of craftsmanship is a lost art and very appreciated. Also if you want to snack but not really want to have a lot of food or the curly fries with the cucumber and wasabi dip. Surprisingly good. Very eclectic crowd and the vibe was really good. This must be a family run operation but I noticed they're opening up a new spot in Poughkeepsie as well.“
“Thanks to sue and another young lady. Did not catch her name. They were super helpful and kind. I had placed a mobile order with a coupon that did not go through but they didn’t walk away and be careless how most other places do. Customer service was just Great how it should be“
“Average looking deli. VERY friendly staff - attentive, polite, and makes you feel at home. There was a hot buffet in addition to the menu as well as a special listed on a placard (Jack in the Box) which I got. The place was clean and quiet - just the way I like it. Food was as expected. Mac n cheese bites were pretty much trash - you could tell they came out of a frozen bag. Burger was good - not too big not too small. Came with onions and pickles - perfect! Fries were crispy and delicious. I really liked that they gave ketchup AND ranch with the meal. The special was a smallish burger, fries, Mac n cheese bites, and a drink - all for $8.69. A bargain in this area. I left feeling satisfied and I know I'll be back. They lost a star for the Mac n cheese bites. They should serve up some tostones or baked beans or something. Not enough to chase me away though...“
“The food was sumptuous and affordable. The bathroom was clean and the waitstaff was very personable. I had been familiar with the Pancake Factory’s branch in Pleasant Valley, and this branch fulfills the expectation of great quality in a convenient location.“
“I legitimately got the nicest most well-made burgers and wrap that I've gotten from any of the mainstream fast food restaurants in a very long time. The gal behind the counter made our sandwiches nicely and not the usual fast and sloppy. It may have been because it was after the lunch rush and they weren't very busy, but they were made very nicely nonetheless. She also added some extra spicy sauce to my wrap when I asked.“
“My wife got her strawberry pancakes which she loves I tried your new chicken sandwich which was great and onion rings keep up the great work. And our server Kenny is the best I cannot say enough of good about him he truly is an asset to your company.“
“This location co branded A&W and KFC. You can integrate your choices. I had KFC chicken tenders.Parking: SufficientKid-friendliness: Bugers, chicken, Hot Dogs, Root Beer floats, etc.Wheelchair accessibility: Entrance parking lot level, no steps or ramps“
“Okay Applebee's!! Had a nice lunch date with my $10 bucket bacardi rum breeze and my 50 cent wings!! Omg! It was such a good price and very tasty. I believe my server name was Emmet they did an amazing job!!! Was on top of everything! I haven't been to Applebee's in a while with great deals like that will come by more often!!“
“I come here to treat myself for lunch sometimes, and it’s always such a pleasant experience. Their omelettes are delicious, as well as their sweeter breakfast options, and the servers are always really kind, attentive, and helpful. Would definitely recommend to friends.“
“I love my Fishkill location. It's great when I'm heading to Home Depot or traveling south to Westchester. Service is good, sometimes it gets wicked busy but they make use of the drive thru waiting spots if your order takes a bit longer than usual. I get consistently good service and food, I will say that even this brutal inflation has brought a stop at McDonald's up to $25-$30 for a family of 3.“
“I have never written a review of this location as over the years its been hit or miss when it came to the food and the service. But the last three or four times I have gone through the drive thru and gotten food it has been fantastic. Most recently I placed an order via the mobile app and while it took them a little longer to locate my order and get it ready - my order came out exact (except they forgot napkins) and everything was piping hot, fresh and just as I had requested. Lately their burgers, baked potatoes, chicken nuggets and salads have been amazing. And the servers have been more than friendly. Keep up the great work - can't wait to go back soon!“
“My mother in law and I went to Beacon to celebrate our birthdays and chose the diner for our lunch. They have a wide selection of food on the menu. I had the farmers breakfast wrap and home fries. Mom had her eggs and lox. We didn't see it on the menu but asked the waitress if it was available and she said sure. We were very happy with the service, quality of the food and the prices.Wheelchair accessibility: It's a small diner with a ramp for a wheelchair, walker and stroller accessibility. I didn't walk around much through the interior as we were seated next to the entrance. I cannot verify the comfort level of spacing throughout the restaurant. The bathroom was accessible.“
