“I wish I could have given the service ten stars. Shari was perfect and so pleasant! Delicious food, we had the salmon and the halibut after a wonderful roasted cauliflower bisque. We come in from NJ for the Inn park and zoo but now will be coming for the food as well. Also enjoyed the afternoon tea with another wonderful experience with Shari as our server. Looking forward to going back. Highly recommended.”

“I had originally tried the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich that a coworker brought me and was completely blown away by how good it was. I recently drove from Rockland to get this sandwich with my girlfriend and found out it was actually a seasonal menu item. I opted to try the Thai Fried chicken sandwich and the Green Goddess Chicken Salad BLT instead and both were equally as fantastic as the Buffalo. I would easily try other things on their menu because I know how good it will probably be considering everything I have tried. The Banana Pudding was phenomenal as well. I would highly recommend this place if you are in the area or are looking for a reason to go explore and try something new. Please bring back the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich it was one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever tried!”

“I just had brain surgery and I am on a very delicate combination of medications that affect my stomach. At the same time, getting some kind of highly nutritious food is really important for my recovery. My taste buds can’t handle anything too extreme but I still want to eat something delicious. Well let me tell you that I have been living off of Signal Fire Bread and it is doing wonders! When I can’t eat too much it sustains me and I also think it has really helped to rev back up my appetite. Truly whether or not you get brain surgery, I recommend Signal Fire for the tastiest, most nutritious and sustainably made local bread.”

Place had an amazing earthy vibe to it, rare to visit a place that speaks to your soul as this one does. Being a deadhead and hearing old school Jerry Garcia and the Grateful Dead on the speakers brought a smile to my face. Isaac who owns the place, relocated from Brooklyn, NY and will engage you about the area and fun things to do. If ever in the area, re Highland Falls, NY stop by, you won't be disappointed.Parking: Plenty of parking spots when I went during a Friday am.”

“Celebrated our son’s 22nd birthday here tonight. Perfect spot for a pub on N. Division St., in the heart of Peekskill. Everything was wonderful from the service, to the apps , to our meals. Nathan our server & bartender was great & very attentive. He even made a special drink for my 78 year old mom who is quite picky & she loved it. The rest of us were drinking beer as it goes well with the wings & Nathan kept it flowing. The wings were the best, we tried the Buffalo & the sticky Asian. Yum! The pretzel bites were a big hit too, very soft & tasty & we loved the pierogis! Some of what we ordered : the slider stack, the chicken & waffle stack (cool presentation), & the mother clucker chicken sandwich. Everything was delish & everything came out piping hot! We were a party of 5 & we all said we would definitely be back! Kudos to Nathan & Whisky River!”

“WOWThis was a huge surprise. I was visiting a customer in Peekskill New York, and pulled over to grab a small bite to eat from a food truck. I pulled into the lot and noticed there was a big line. When I got on line there were a lot of regulars talking about what they were going to order. I asked one of them what they would recommend, and they said you cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. They were so right.I got an order of taco's. You got to pick any three taco's you wanted. and the order came with hand cut fries, and this amazing lime aioli. I had a chorizo, fish, and chicken taco. They might have been the best I ever had. After I finished I had to tell the owner how great the food was. He happened to be the nicest guy, and was truly happy to hear that I thoroughly enjoyed his food. He makes all of his food fresh daily, and makes his own chorizo.I went home that night, and told my son about the truck. That weekend I stopped by again, this time with my son and his fiance. Octavio remembered me right away. We ordered a braised short rib grill cheese on Texas toast, a Cuban sandwich that he made with his own smoked pulled pork, and his home made empanada's. All three of us were amazed with his food.My son was getting married in three weeks, and we had rented an Airbnb for the weekend, and were throwing a rehearsal dinner for about 40 people the night before the wedding. We had already planned on having it catered, but my son mentioned why don't we do something different, and see if Octavio would bring his food truck to the Airbnb instead of using a caterer. It wound up being fantastic. We spoke with Octavio, and picked five items off the menu to serve that night. Everyone at the party raved about the food, and Octavio surprised us at the end by serving his home made caramel stuffed churro's with chocolate sauce.If you love great food, you must give him a visit...”

“I picked up Blondery's S'mores Hot Chocolate and a cinnamon roll at the Beacon Farmers Market recently. OMG. The love that goes into their products is undeniable. Their cinnamon roll was everything good that makes up a cinnamon roll -- light, fresh, the perfect touch of cinnamon -- and THE ICING. I can't. Absolutely incredible. The only downfall was having to share with my daughter, whose eye about popped out of her head when she saw the deliciousness I was enjoying. Pairing that with their S'mores Hot Chocolate was the icing on the proverbial cake. There's magic in everything that Blondery creates. I love that they're a part of our community and am excited to try more of their creations. <3”

“After reading reviews I thought I give it a try. I live in LA and always looking for authentic mexican food in the area the sopes were very good and chilaquiles . I loved the arroz con leche it was not too sweet it was perfect very authentic love this hidden gem. They were very kind and great service gracias. Definitely will be coming back .”

Staff were polite and friendly, and the ambience was cozy. They also have a separate section with plenty of work stations and charging ports, with free Wi-Fi. Servers Michael and Justin were incredible! We walked in, tables were set, water glasses filled and menus ready. They handled separate bills with ease, drink orders, soups, appetizers, meals and desserts with amazing customer service- and the food was a home run!! True comfort food with a flare!
