“This deli has been here forever. Well, at least as far back as the 1950's when I used to come here with my father, and then riding my bike when a little older. Of course, now it's under new management, but the atmosphere and quality of the food and sandwiches has remained. As long as I keep coming back to Brightwaters for a visit, I'll keep coming here. It's a great deli!!“

“Let me say I’m not one to leave reviews, but i just had to for these guys. If u are reading this and have not tried there food. U would be crazy not to give them a shot. Hands down every ingredient they use is top quality. More then the food i love seeing these people. Never has a deli made me feel welcomed. “excellent polish store with a lot of different types of Kielbasa to choose from.they also have a hot food counter with a nice assortment of delicious looking Polish & American food.the people working there are very friendly and helpful.Parking: they have a small parking lot in the front and a larger one in the rear of the store“

“Great old school deli I always try to stop at when I'm working in Bay Shore. I've never had anything that wasn't outstanding..BEC. cmon, had an unbelievable omlette today. Lunch is always fantastic with lots of specialty sandwiches. Best part is the people, so friendly and helpful, you leave happier than when you walk in! Great place, give it a try!“

“The BEST deli in Smithtown. Their food is incredible. Especially the German Potato Salad. You MUST TRY IT! It's the best potato salad I've ever eaten, super unique & unlike any potato salad I've had. I will continue to come back. I got the Italian hero and it was so delicious!! NOT ONLY is the food amazing but the staff are all so friendly and kind. Extremely personable and they made me feel so welcomed & appreciated. Tom is a stand up guy & so pleasant to speak to. “This is under new ownership and decided to try it. It is very clean and the new owners are very nice and friendly. Their breakfast sandwich tasted great and was perfectly cooked and the price was more reasonable than most other delis I have been to by a few dollars. Besides sandwich’s and typical deli salads what makes them stand out is their Korean options. I tried their Korean fried chicken and it was delicious. Definitely recommend trying it if you want something different.“

“This is an average deli. Nothing special about it and nothing bad about it. Potato and macaroni salad tasted like it was out of a five gallon pail and not freshly made. Tuna was not fresh either. Employee had no personality. Just took the order and rang me up. The deli is clean and well stocked. It's the only deli in Nesconset so you don't have anywhere else o choose from in this immediate area.Parking: Parking is not great but since its not that busy, you will find a spot in front or out back.“

“I no longer live on Long Island so I'm unable to get food like this upstate, bonus I found queneapa's there as well. I had a medium plate of Spanish rice with beef and potatoes and bought the last bag of queneapa's they had and it was under $15 total, which is a great value in my opinion. The quality of the food was awesome. I can't wait to try more food there when I'm back visiting again. It was so hard to pick just one or two things to try.“

“The owner is very nice. They do offer delivery and doordash. The food has a good taste and they have a large variety of food, salad, soups, drinks, and area to eat. Their menu is very colorful, and they have a nice window wrapping food display to open your appetite just by looking at it. You can order fresh tostones known as fried green plantains. “My family and I have been going to this place when they opened Los hermanos. We constantly go there almost daily to get what we need and the people are nice. They now serve hot food and we just got breakfast sandwiches and they were awesome. Always going back.“

“Wonderful quality and service. Their cooked foods, particularly the soups are first rate. They have exceptional individually wrapped baked goods. The sandwiches are made well with the usual Boars Head and they do not skimp on portion. The star of the deli is the wonderful breads. The rye is marble and delicious. This is the best deli Ive been to aside from Kitchen Cabaret on Glen Cove Rd. The only problem is the DAMN PICKLE ...I cant stand pickle flavor near my sandwhich. No matter how emphatic I am, I still get that damn pickle wrapped in the second piece of paper 50% of the time. I have gotten catering from them many times. Very good. Food is good and they wrap , label nicely. They close early as most deli's do ..... why not provide delivery of DINNER at the end of the day? I certainly would love to call in and have soup and a sandwich for me my husband, and a salad of hot food for my kids dropped off at the end of the day BEFORE I have to worry about dinner.“

“This is a takeout restaurant, but you can sit inside if necessary. I ordered the Poisson Frit, Peas & Rice, Plantain and was very happy with the food & service. The food was ready in good time and well made. The Poisson Frites was crispy, well seasoned, and fresh - cooked perfect. The rice and plantain were delicious and not too oily. The service was pleasant and they give you a nice portion for the price. Would recommend and will be eating here again.“

The pernil was tender and very flavorful and their yellow rice was perfectly cooked. The best part was the price! “This is your classic Long Island deli with bagels. I grew up about 7 minutes away. I love it so much! Bright Bay definitely has the best egg sandwich in Bay Shore! Their poppy seed rolls are so fresh and their eggs are always cooked to order. The quality of their bacon and cheese complement the eggs so eloquently to make this BEC sandwich the best tasting in Suffolk County. My mom says their chicken salad is very tasty too and their lunch sandwich options are banging! The workers are very kind and make your order just the way you like it without any flaws. They have a large fridge with plenty of beverage options and a coffee station to brew up the Joe prepared to your liking! The vibe inside reminds you of home if you're from the island.“
