“Visiting my childhood home town from Boston. Childhood friend and I drove by Bayview Kitchen on our way home. Initially thought it was a kitchen reno store then realized it was a restaurant. Decided to try. Always up for adventure. What a WOW! Staff from entry to restraunt were warm and friendly. Love the decor sleek and so clean. Service was great. Now the important part..the food. We both had the j*** chicken tostada which was super delicious. Ingredients were so fresh.. Right amount of spice and ingredients with a nice kick. Got a chance to speak with owner and chef. They were so proud of their restaurant and looking to hear our thoughts on our meal. We told them it was extra special. They are looking to provide fresh quality soul food to the community and I would say they exceeded our expectations. Wishing them success and looking to return on my next visit to Amityville. The outside stone work decor is so beautiful. Thank you for a great food experience. Give this place a try I believe you will not be disappointed.“

“This is my favorite steakhouse on Long Island. From the valet service to the bussers everyone is friendly and extremely welcoming. For the prices you cannot beat it for the quality of the food they serve. We absolutely love the thick cut bacon and always order an appetizer special. Tonight we had the pierogi which were delicious. I highly reccomend the ribeye as this is one of the most tender steaks I’ve had served to me. Better than most restaurants who claim a 45 or 60 day dry aged. The service here is fantastic you will not see an empty drink on your table and they do not leave any crumbs on your table. Desserts are always amazing. Tartufo is one of my favorites here and the cheesecake is delicious. DONT FORGET TO GET THE MAC AND CHEESE. That is one of my favorites on the menu. I could eat a bowl myself.“

“This place is fantastic. The meats and hummus are really tasty and fresh. The bread is wonderful!! Salad is great although they put green peppers in the salad but it’s not overwhelming and even if you don’t like bell peppers, you may not notice. Service is great, friendly, and the food is 100% authentic!!“

“The wife and I stopped in for date night during Bayshore restaurant week. It's a nice spot, cozy environment, table spread is a good distance away from the next, it's clean and comfortable. They do get busy so get there early or make a reservation. We had the seasonal spread and shoshito pepper appetizers which were both very good, lots of flavor. I ordered the Shrimp and grits and even though I've never been a grits eater, I was pleasantly surprised. The shrimp and grits was incredibly good and had a ton of flavor. I ordered a classic margarita which was executed perfectly and the wife enjoyed her salad and mocktails as well. I would highly recommend this place and am certainly going back! “Went here for my Anniversary, they gave us dessert on the house for our Anniversary. I have been eating Chinese Food since I had teeth and could chew, this is by far the best Chinese Food I've ever eaten, Staff was very friendly and accommodating, will definitely be back. Family owned and run for generations. At times coffee needs to be made fresh but other than that four stars for sure. Great place to hold small to mid size parties. Parking for this restaurant is metered but at just 25¢ per hour at a 2 hour max I felt as though I was still alive in the 1950s. I ordered one of their speciality burgers with American Cheese lettuce tomatoes pickles, Truffle Fries sprinkled with mozzarella cheese, Cole slaw, and a Ginger ale. I said wait a minute THE BURGER IS DELICIOUS and juicy. The Cole slaw needed a little help and tasted a bit dry. The truffle fries were good as well and came with their dipping sauce but instead I just stuck with Old Reliable Ketchup and they went down just as good. This restaurant has a lot more to offer than just my burger experience judging by it's menu variety, I will definitely have to come back for something different next time.There are no deafening absorbing materials on the ceiling that would at least absorb some of the loud patron chatter coming from the other tables. I was seated at the bar and their conversations were so loud at times, I would have to ask my friend repeat what he just said to me. I pulled the trigger and it was money well spent. I have never tasted anything so tender and perfectly seasoned hood to under carriage. The flavors penetrated throughout the whole duck and flavor profile is.... just good; it works. Order extra baos if you have bigger family. I added 2 sides of baos, but one extra bao order was good for our family of 5. I was not a fan of the ckn and beef dumplings, the addition of corn takes away from it for me. Veggie dumplings were good.“

We generally preferred the standard strength over draft, but to each their own! Perfect and reasonably-priced flight options, and board games to play while you sip your meads as well!“

There are so many other places in the surrounding area that are well known with a lot more space for indoor dining. I would hands down choose Isabella's for the amount of food you receive and the taste (small space to dine in, but we do take out). My son is a bit of an Italian food addict and we were trying different places to keep it interesting. I just can't believe how good the food is and the price at Isabella's. Came here for dinner on a Saturday, and even though it was crowded, we still got a table rather fast.For an appetizer, we got K-Mac Sliders, which were delicious and probably the best thing of the night.For dinner, we got a chirashi platter, which, was very nice and featured some great fish. They don't list what your getting, which is a little annoying, but the fish was good and fresh.Service was good, and the ambiance is rather basic, but nice.“
