The acai berry is 97 calories (per serving as per the sales lady) not to mention the fruits, coconut shavings and the Nutella (love, love, love it). So yeap!, once a week treat.“

“This coffee shop is a gem. It’s neat, modern, clean, and the atmosphere is super soothing. There are words of affirmation on their mugs, which was a nice surprise.I had a latte with oat milk and it was refreshing. Seems to be a good place to order some coffee, read a book or get some work done. I didn’t get to check if there was WiFi or not, but this is a place I’d be willing to use my hotspot for.The staff were very warm and welcoming — I’ll definitely be back when I’m in the neighborhood to try a pastry or two! Most nights, my partner and I hold ourselves back from spending all our hard earnings on Piki Poke because of just how refreshing, delicious, and flavorful their food is. As I write this review, I think back to this morning when we squealed about possibly getting Piki Poke. It was our reward for a Friday morning hard work.The salmon and ahi tuna is so fresh; crab salad is perfectly salty; veggies and fruits combined for a light yet filling meal. The "Hell's Kitchen Sink" tastes awesome (with peanut butter and cocoa nips.) The smoothies Boo Berry, Gymbuddy and Energy Boost are each made with almond or coconut milk and protein powder .We loved everything! The service is very friendly and There are only a few seats, so we were there early (about 8 / 9h) and had no problems getting a small table.Now we are back home and miss the delicious bowls!“

“This is my second review and after about 6 months I want to commend The Green Juice Bar for continuing to update their model to fit the neighborhood. They've been making incremental improvements and the place looks great. They are now serving lovely pastries, coffee, snacks and they are now expanding their hours. We walked by on a Saturday night and stopped in for a freshly squeezed orange juice and it was a perfect drink. They've remodeled the space putting in more lighting and seats so it's much more welcoming and visually inviting. I wish this place much success and please support local businesses like this for the neighborhood.“

“As someone stuck at home battling COVID and its symptoms, a smoothie from Playa Bowls was a bright spot in my otherwise lousy day. Full of flavor, Playa Bowls has a nice assortment of smoothies and açaí bowls that can serve as both a sweet treat or a nutritious meal. DoorDash allowed me to order from home and get my smoothie in less than 20 minutes, which is a huge win. I'll definitely be back (hopefully in person)!“

“This is my SPOT! I come here after workouts and love the classic açaí bowl. The tropical pitaya and peanut butter protein bowls are also very good. I've never eaten inside, but it's decent decor (just get to-go). The girls making the bowls are pretty quick and always offer a smile. This is the only place I get my açaís in Jersey!“

“MELINDA!!!! She’s amazing! I was craving oatmeal this morning but also felt extremely bloated. I happen to stumble upon Pure Green and when I came in I was instantly welcomed by Melinda. I told her I as extremely bloated and asked her for juice options. She gave me plenty! Then I told her I was craving oatmeal and she made me this super yummy variation of the chia one. Super duper delish! Not to mention, Melinda was sooooo nice! Her personality truly made me feel welcomed and I instantly connected with her spark. I will definitely be returning ?“

They also offer a substantial selection of smoothies. Last time I got the sweet potato fries and the portion was amazingly generous and they were delicious. Seems that they changed owners because it used to offer grilled chicken. I like the setup of the place much better than before. It's more visible. I highly recommend this eatery! “Not sure if Pitanga is considered authentic Brazilian cuisine or moreso a modern spin on it but the food is pretty solid. I ordered the quinoa bowl which was quite tasty and healthy as well (a rarity in my book haha). However, I wish they would have an option to add protein. On top of that, I understand packaging coffee is difficult for deliveries but there's no good reason half of the coffee should've spilled before I got it. This is moreso the fault of the courier I'm sure but at the same time it's important for the restaurants to try to ensure safe packaging of all items. I would definitely try Pitanga again though!“

“This was my first time at oakberry. I usually go to sobol and right when I tried oakberry I immediately switched over. Oakberry's acai is very good and more fresh and smoothie like. The service took a little longer but it was definitely worth the wait!“

Don't be put off by it's location- it's located in the back of a Brazilian clothing/ bathing suit store and it's quite the gem. They have different sizes of the bread. I opted for the bigger ones and they were 3 dollars each or 2 for 5. It was soft crusty fluffy and cheesy. Just the right amount of cheese and chew flavor.
