“This is an excellent smoothie and acai bowl place, with a very fitting name! All of the fruit was fresh and smoothies are made to order. I was able to customize a smoothie with almond milk, spinach, banana, Nutella, blueberries, and avocado. It was actually surprisingly good and hit just the spot. So glad to have found this healthy juice/smoothie place in Jersey City!“

“I bumped into this shop shortly after they opened not too long ago. I was extremely pleased with my experience. Excellent juicy lamb and chicken gyro sandwiches, salads, and rice platter! All halal, too.They also serve other dishes. Their menu is not extensive, but I prefer this, since everything is made freshly and their turnover is really fast. The salads are very fresh, everything is juicy and their portions are very generous. The gyro sandwiches and platters include a can of soda, so everything is in my opinion very competitively priced.The people in the store are very kind and attentive, and I have become a frequent visitor who is greeted with a smile. When showing the place to a visiting family, who praised the platter the “best gyro” they ever had, the owner gave one of the kids an extra platter to enjoy later. I think this speaks for itself.Kid-friendliness: High chairs, very casual, very kid friendly operators.“

“Really decent smoothie bowl shop! I was surprised to see a smooth bowl location that could customize so easily. A lot of the places I have visited before do not allow much customization because of pre-made bowls and they never customize without charging extra. I really enjoyed that about this place! The staff here were really kind and the owner was really sweet! It was a nice quaint location with a cool ambience. It had a lot of fresh colors and accents and it gave a nice vibe. The location was perfect next to the Newport station and its close to the Hudson which Made eating with a view great! I would highly recommend the acai base. I was the biggest fan of the blue narwhal but I understand how it could be a fan favorite for those who love coconut! Overall, I'd go again and really recommend it!Vegetarian options: All bowls were vegetarian. They were great about keeping common allergens separate.“

“This place is, with out a doubt, the best Acai/Chia pudding place I have ever been to. On top of that, the chia pudding recipe tis shop is using is something distinctly different from other chia pudding I've had. It's blue, and tastes far more awesome than normal chia pudding.I accidentally discovered this little shop while visiting a friend near Montclair. I live in NYC - caught a train to Montclair Bay St station, and wandered up the block from there looking for some treats to share with friends.Jackpot.I don't live near Montclair, and this location is not convenient to me. However, I now go out of my way to visit this shop whenever I'm passing through the nearby train line.Worth it.If you (please) bring boomchia to downtown Brooklyn, I would eat there everyday. As it stands I'll have to settle for once a week.“

“My two nieces and I popped in this morning on our way to the Natural History Museum. I’ll admit I was hesitant but thankfully I listened to my nieces! I had the avocado and eggs in a crepe, which was the best gluten-free sandwich I have ever had. Did not miss the bread at all. My 14 year old chose the Nutella crepe with banana and the 9 ounce Açaí bowl. Oldest selected one of the big bowls … it was a work of art. Highly recommend and we will be back on our next trip. “This is THE smoothie place to go - hands down!I’ve been to at least 10 smoothie places in NYC (primarily Manhattan) and never been more satisfied with the drink or service than here. Honestly no other smoothie places can compare. I can order my drink within the moment I step inside (the workers are highly attentive to customers) and wait less than 5 minutes until my smoothie’s been made.Very smooth, no chunks, absolutely addictively delicious. My top choice is always the Lychee Valentine, followed by Avomazing or Smooth Avocado, but you really cannot go wrong with any of their choices.“
