“Didn't know there was a brewy in the bronx. Nice cozy place to have a temaste of the local beer. I was on a bike ride and this was our final destination. The father and son bbq was a pop-up, once the food ran out that was it. They had good food, the brewy doesn't have food and they are open at a certain time. I would suggest some heaters if the bay door is going to be open. I will definitely be going to back to try some of there other beers. Maybe catch a game.“

Not in the sense of taped up paper leprechauns or a tinsel HAPPY SAINT PATRICK'S DAY banner, but rather campaign photos of John and Robert Kennedy, as well as other candidates for office going back more than 100 years. It's one of the oldest bars in New York City, and decorated with historical markers, play tickets, political posters and buttons, as well as a painting of a naked lady! Your choices for drinks are light ale or dark ale. They make good sandwiches, too.“

“After trying to take the train, then using our GPS, we finally said Uncle and called an Uber. So glad we stuck with it. This Nano Brewery is definitely off the beaten path but what a spectacular find! Loved the Ginger IPA and the Lychee Red brews. “I have been to Alternative Medicine Brewing Company twice and had positive experiences. I live in Brooklyn now and come up to see friends and family and I really wish this place was around when I when was living in Fleetwood. They make a very good IPA with Juice Cleanse, their environment is fantastic, they have a super cozy nook and the bathrooms are incredibly clean. Caribbean Soul Food literally hits the spot. Also, the owners and employees are super friendly. Mount Vernon really needs more great small businesses like this and I hope to keep coming back in the future for great beer.“

There's a lot of active stuff happening around here and you can really get lost in the enormous culture surrounding this place. Small food plates are available and they seem to have food pop-ups as well. The other night I had a pizza during happy hour that cost a mere ten dollars. What a steal!“

“Got the pork bowl and esquites. Pork bowl was a good portion and was warm. Pork was tender and well seasoned. Ordering was a bit tricky because you have to use QR codes and reception in the mall is trash. Once I got on the Hudson Yard wifi it was fine. The Hudson Yard wifi will ask for your email so use 10minutemail and a VPN to avoid getting spammed.“
“The location is attached to the end of a craft beer market. Little hard to find. Have to continue walking past it outside and there's a door on the side. They do serve food however I didn't try any. I sampled the house lagers, IPA's and Stouts. Their main stout is absolutely phenomenal. The IPA's left a little to be desired for me. I like my IPA's with more of a hoppy bite at the end. The Lager was incredibly smooth and would be a great all day tailgating beer. Bar managers were very insightful about the products they had. Would recommend.“

There are picnic style tables and high tops on barrels. There's also some Finback merchandise for sale.Recently got a fridge that displays 4 packs and bottles for sale. At the bar, they have a menu that describes their drink options in depth.They have delicious food pop-ups and when there's no food pop-ups, they have a list of places they recommend for local delivery. We ordered pajeon (scallion/chive pancake), kimchi arancini (must order), and steamed tofu with an extra side of kimchi which I highly recommend. A friend ordered the banana milk cocktail which was nice and strong and I ordered the health is wealth mocktail which has all my fave ingredients—well-balanced and unique flavors. “Came here tonight and surprise- it was trivia night! How cute!! Layout is small and a little wonky so if you want to be in on the action + have plenty of opportunities to socialize, I recommend sitting towards the front near the bar! Unfortunately I came around 8:30 and trivia was fully in-swing so the only seats were in the back sort of away from everyone. One of the things that struck me right as I came in was how welcoming the crowd felt and the amount of queer folks I saw. Definitely felt right at home pretty immediately.My partner and I ended up ordering a flight of beers to share. You get your selection of any 4 beers on tap for just $20. My partner then ordered the burger and fries and I ordered a selection of 4 empanadas (2 chopped cheese, 1 Korean pork, and 1 vegan esquites). My empanadas were delicious although I didn't care for the esquites one as much as the other three. My partners burger and fries came out cold unfortunately but I was told it had good flavor.Overall, a decent spot if you like beer and activities!“
