“Great halal truck! Got the beef kofta which was very flavorful and delicious. My fiance got the combo which had 3 types of meats and was also very good. I appreciated that the food wasn't too greasy and the salad was super fresh! The cucumber had such a nice bite to it. There were also chickpeas in the salad! It's the little details that really tell the story of how good a place is and this truck is great! They take card :)“

“Super cute place with an intimate, laidback atmosphere. I went as a group of 3 on a weeknight and there wasn't any wait. The waiter was friendly and relaxing so the overall experience was pleasant. We ordered the assorted mezze and then got the assorted combo of entrees with chicken schwarma, falafel, and kafta. Overall very solid - my favorite was the cauliflower mezze - but otherwise nothing really stole my attention and stood out.“

“I accidentally entered this store at 4 o'clock, and encountered happy hour, unlimited red willow sheep for 1 yuan per skewer, and free drinks. It was so cool! ! I also tried grilled bananas and small fat and lean beef skewers. The secret beef skewers were delicious. The grilled bananas were surprisingly delicious.“

“I disagree with all the negative comments. By far, the best gyro I had in NY (been to Turkey, Egypt, Germany, Holland, and Sweden, etc so I've had a fair share internationally as well). The staff was also super nice and the gyros are affordable (live in Midtown West where a gyro is like $15).In a great central area, also near NYU. It's a small spot, nothing fancy, but that doesn't matter to me. The quality and taste (super flavorable) is what wins me over. Can't say enough and crave this gyro. Can't wait to go back!“

“Excellent dining experience. I had the Turkish coffee martini, so good it could be a dessert. The tabuleh and babagannush appetizers with the warm bread basket were good. We got the lamb shish with rice and the salmon with rice, both prepared perfectly. Ended the night with a traditional Turkish coffee. We weren't rushed during dinner with one plate immediately followed by another, or after we finished, relaxing delicious dinner. Staff were all very good!“

“Tandoori Kebab- just love it. Very generous portion. The chicken is well seasoned and still tender. Plenty of orders going out so it must have a well deserved good reputation. Found it by chance and it is now my place to go to for an early lunch. The seating along the window is a bit at a strange hight, stools too low. 1 "normal" table (winter) Everything is very clean and staff are not just robots.“

“The cook was very chill, most of the time they'd take their time on grilling the barbeque for their customers while they ordered something. The BBQs on the stick is really tasty, well grilled with or without spices.Just be advised that be on the right time to prevent a long wait for your order BBQ cuz sometimes they'd filled up the grilling stand for a while as they sell the foods for the customer.(P.S. there's another BBQ cart next to the Xinjiang BBQ stand that shows up at around 3:30pm-4pm, just incase if it's full or something.. it is located where the bakery, Kung Fu Tea/TTK Chicken is, one block away.)“

“Wonderful Uyghur food! I have been wanting to try for a while. They have plof, noodles and many delicious lamb dishes. I got the dry dried noodle with lamb. The noodle texture was perfect and the dish was spicy and delicious. Couldn’t resist the traditional central Asian samsa with lamb. Would go back !“

“I met an old freind for a lovely dinner at this restaurant. The staff were accomodating and attentive. They seated us at a nice table with quiet ambiance at our request and provided complementary drinks on the house. The food was delicious, with creative updates on classic dishes that evoked nostalgic nods to the past along with a surprise to the tastebuds that are uniquely modern. Highly recommend the butter chicken and ribeye kebab.“
