“We had a great big lunch there today and it was really excellent and the prices were very fair. I loved my Punjabi curried egg, which I had never heard of before, and the others loved their paneer makhani and chicken tikka masala, as well as bread, samosas and spring rolls. Service excellent. Atmosphere not at all fancy but really friendly, two plain big tables, fun to watch all the regulars come in for their takeout. Super owners. Highly recommended!“
“Me and my daughter went to riverdale, we tried the chicken tikki massalla, pani puri, rosemary naan and samossas. It was the best Indian food we’ve ever tried, the chicken was moist and so was the rich. The best drink I recommend is the mango chutney, 10/10.“
“Very kind people, the food is beyond amazing my absolute favorite restaurant!!!!! It’s a legit hole in the wall place that serves the best foods as hole in the walls do. I highly recommend you trying it. It’s totally worth it and will not disappoint.“
“I wasn't acknowledged when I first entered, once noticed staff appeared hospitable. I'm vegan and ordered lentil soup, first time trying Indian version which was a bit thin, not my usual but good, spice, curry and flavors were obvious, which I like, reasonably priced and appreciate as the area doesn't appear to have many options for my diet.“
“The best West Indian food in the Bronx in my opinion.Everything is cooked and seasoned well, can order anything off the menu and it will taste good.It is reasonably priced, customer service is great, there is a reason it has been a neighborhood staple for so long.“
“After craving Indian food one day, I looked for a place that was near me that I could go and buy food myself without traveling too far, I found this place, I’d say Kind of hidden. Thank you for google! I’ve been eating their chicken tikka masala, the garlic naan, halwa, and chicken biryani and if just hit my craving on spot! I’ve bought from them twice already and I know this will now be my go to place especially when I want rice meals. Pls support small businesses like these. They need us too.“
“The chicken Tiki marsala is really good from here also has some of the best vegetable samosas. I would stay away from the curry chicken (not good)I haven't tried anything else hereDon't expect five-star service from this place just call ahead, order your food and go pick it up lol“
“We called the moment they opened and ordered a big order expecting that they will deny it. Instead, they catered us so nicely and provided our team with the best Indian food we ever had ( the order was for 10 to 12 people)Definitely coming back. Tikka masala was to die for.“
“I really enjoyed my first visit here. The food was spectacular. We started with an appetizer of Chicken samosas and the fight was so light and crunch. The filling was also great. I had the chicken curry and it was so savory. The SAUCE hit every spot of happiness.??. Tried the nan and it was so soft and freshly made. My daughter tried the chicken tikka masala and she loved it. I would recommend for anyone trying Indian food for the first time or if you love Indian food. This is the spot and will be my spot from now on.“
“Stopped here for some quick chai & snacks .. ended up eating more than that. Hoping that they had some masala chai, but that was not the case. The person at the register was very helpful. Took our order & made various suggestions. He was very friendly & humble. The seekh kebab's were tasty. Chicken Hakka Noodle was full of flavor and was well made. Chicken biryani was okay. Had some Rice pudding too. Service was really good. Nice little hole in the wall restaurant, well kept and clean. They mostly cater to takeouts and sometimes the person taking orders gets busy taking phone orders. Thank you for your service ... sorry I don't remember your name.“
“I Ordered the Large Oxtails and J*** BBQ Chicken . Both dishes were good and definitely worth the detour we took to get there. Oxails wasn't tough, it was almostmeltingin my mouth. The server was very nice and was ok with answering my questions. So service 5, taste food 5 but the decor of the store is definitely a 2. Don't get me wrong there is nothing wrong. it's a good store and I would definitely eat here a million more times.“
“When I tell y’all this food is so good. I never liked Indian food ever I’m not sure if it’s because this place is vegan/vegetarian or what but this food is so good and always fresh even late at night. Ever since I tried this place about a month ago on Uber Eats I been ordering it atleast once a week. The Biryani rice is good but I really like the Aloo Gobhi. I’m obsessed with their spring rolls and Samosas whew the lemonade is good too“
“Overall experience is a 4.5 stars . As a customer I don’t want to feel like I’m forced to tip servers . Furthermore I don’t want it to seem as if I don’t support staff for doing their job but a mandatory 18% service fee is ridiculous if that wasn’t included in my bill my waitress was seeing atleast 20% to 25% of my bill but unfortunately service fee being designed prior is not a stylish fit to the atmosphere. Wonderful spot butter chicken items have Indian touch perfectly drinks are poured amazingly dj is great can’t complain other than business seeming to want to force cash grab. I’m fortunate enough to afford to do this but if you saw this spot from instagram as me and wanted to take a date and wanted to dollar count just make sure you add 18% to your bill.“
