“Me and my daughter, enjoyed this restaurant so much during our Mommy and Me weekend! The atmosphere was laid back and quite relaxing. The service was superb and the food was so good, we had to order food to bring home. I would give this establishment 6 stars if I could. “SoCal girl’s opinion - the tamales are exceptional. They are large, an entree size for sure and the masa is so fluffy, not dry at all. I made a large order for Christmas. Ordering days ahead, they also made a mild chicken version for children with seasoning but no spice. After the party I froze the leftover ones and reheated them in the steamer and they are still 100.“

I ended up ordering a Torta milanesa de Pollo the ingredients were well proportioned, tasty and overall a perfect sandwich.

As for the service, the kindest people you’ll ever meet. You feel like a guest in their home. It’s a very humble, small spot you might miss as you walk by it. But you walk in, eat your meal in peace and quiet, take a break. Just a great old fashioned place.

One more thing about the people who run it: I went in one time on heavy meds for a heart condition and forgot my debit card there.
