The service was impeccable from the host to our server everyone knowledgeable, friendly and engaging. Now to the food, arguably some of the best Oaxacan cuisine I have tasted outside of Mexico. The crudo was so fresh and vibrant the short rib memela was one of the best dishes I have had in a very long time. Everything was fresh and tasty. Thanks to everyone who made this meal such an amazing experience. Truly looking forward to my next visit!!!“

In my pictures its the $12 Beef Stew Plate featuring yellow rice, beef stew in gravy sauce w/ potatoes and a cup on the side with red beans. Myself and my 14 year old young man always splits this $12 plate as you can see in the video. Delicious“

“I happened upon this little Gem because I wanted Mexican food and the place I googled was like a Bodega with a sink. Totally dismayed, I happened to look up and there this place was right before my eyes. I was so hungry I forgot to take pictures, but I had the grilled chicken with yellow rice and refried beans and two chicken tacos. The food was well seasoned and everything, everything was DELISH. A must if you are in the neighborhood and want some excellent authentic food. Oh yeah!!!!? ??“

“Giving chipotle a run for their money. I had the Cholula hot & sweet chicken, it was really good. I didn’t need hot sauce like in chipotle, just really good flavors. The guacamole is really good, queso was a ok but I’m not really a queso fan. The chips were fresh, crispy and not greasy.“

The food was excellent and the grocery store itself is super cute and immaculately clean that sell Mexican products. So glad to finally find a Spanish food joint of this quality near this area.“

“I’ve been to this place several times. First, the food: it’s amazing and affordable. I get the chicken enchiladas with mole every time. Among the best I’ve eaten. As for the service, the kindest people you’ll ever meet. You feel like a guest in their home. It’s a very humble, small spot you might miss as you walk by it. But you walk in, eat your meal in peace and quiet, take a break. Just a great old fashioned place.

One more thing about the people who run it: I went in one time on heavy meds for a heart condition and forgot my debit card there. Looked for it for a couple days, then realized I’d probably left it here. I walked in and they had it waiting for me, gave it to me with a smile. Give these gentlemen your business.“
