“Biggest sleeper kitchen in town. Don’t judge a book by its cover. Formerly known as multiple dive bars different owners over many years. You now get homemade gourmet food from a Pugliese chef. Rice balls, pasta dishes, ribs, food all around. Good to get a drink and sandwich with fries. Go bananas with the steak for two. Just go.“
“Went for brunch and it was great. The ambiance is perfect, and the food was delicious! The coffee was amazingly good too, I had decaf and my husband has iced coffee. For food, I had french toast and my husband the chicken sandwich. They deserve more than a 4.4!! Mimosas were included too.“
“So I was craving a REAL BURGER... I wanted to try something different. The ONLY thing I didn't like was the burgers are served on a huge toasted kaiser roll. It felt a bit uncomfortable since I'm married to a black man & everyone in there was predominantly Caucasian, but they stared at us & I couldn't make out some whispers & comments by customers. 2 female waitresses and almost every table was taken, but the servers were clearly in over their heads. They have a bar, but no one can make a daiquiri, kamikaze, mudslide or any other type of fancy drinks I love. After placing our orders we received my food which was lacking the additional topping I paid extra for. $2.00 Cheese $2.00 Onions & $2.00 for mushrooms. Then I gave it redone and my onion strings were delicious, the burger was tasty, but I only had 2 bites. And then they packed my food to go, which I asked them to just bring me a box. And I guess the waitress wasn't thinking once again, Because now I left out of the restaurant with a piece of a bit Burger. The other half of the Burger was thrown out and then my onion stroils was thrown out also so I was really upset when I got home and I wanted to finish my food and there was nothing in there. I did call I spoke to a waitress. She knew who I was, and she told me to come back in and that she would fix it. But they're literally an hour away from where I live so I think it's a done issue!!“
“I ordered a BLT and the taste was good but the sandwich was a little skimpy. Service was excellent. Atmosphere was cute (old fashioned diner). Price was about $5 more than I've paid elsewhere.Parking: Parking is difficult because of the Bronxville train station. You have to pay for parking.“
“Walked in at noon and was next on line. Ordered pastrami on rye with mustard and a small macaroni salad. Done in a few minutes. The pictures that I took doesn't look like the sandwiches in their advertisement for Lang delicatessen. The sandwich was on the thin side, but it was very tasty, and the mustard was put on both sides of the bread. The macaroni salad was OK also. “The atmosphere and service was fantastic, as usual. I must say, the food was not as tasty as previous visits to Underhill. Both the pork chop and roasted chicken (usually my favorite) entrees were dry and skimpy and the salad as a starter was tiny. We definitely got hit with a dose of "shrinkflation".“
